You install AdditioAppTeachergradebook, it takes up space, you think it will be a wonderful, streamlined little app for you to use. No! This ends up not being the case. The developer wants you to sign up to get 30 days free, so they cannot call it a free app. It is nothing more than trialware.
Then you uninstall it and it potentially leaves artifacts in your system.
This sort of scammy marketing is a black eye to Apple.

It’s a bad idea to tease customers (especially teachers) with apps that aren’t yet ready for market. Should be in beta.
It’s a cool idea but definitely still feels like an app in beta. It will be great with effective google classroom integrations. If you need a stand-alone because your school does not already have a digital attendance and grade book system you’re probably living in the dark ages. But those features seem pretty decent. That seems to be where developers put most of their focus.
However, if developers get their planning calendar to publish assignments in google classroom and to calendar, they will have a strong product. And they need custom repeat features, like repeats every # school days, not just week/2weeks, etc.
Won’t use this for the grade book or attendance.

Looks like it’s decently designed. Free to download only. Wants your name and email address and password. Then brings up a prompt to sign up for an $8.99 SUBSCRIPTION. So if you buy it you have to keep buying it to continue to use your student data.

Lots of customizability and features.
Only reason I rate it one star is because when I open the summary tab for attendance on a student, the close button is tucked up in the top right behind something that won’t let me click it. So every time I want to look at attendance I have to restart AdditioAppTeachergradebook .
I am using an IPhone X with latest updates as of this review.
Fix this and I will adjust to 5 star.

I love AdditioAppTeachergradebook and will never use a paper grade book again. The ease of entering grades saves a ton of time. Set up was simple. Some features I really like are the student picker, custom grade option, and the built in calculator that enters the grade automatically when you make the calculation. The tabs and groups are easily customizable. Love the color coding, importing student options, copying options as well. I'd love to eventually see AdditioAppTeachergradebook integrate a bubble sheet scan feature that uses the camera to scan tests and quizzes. Wish the reports could show averages as we'll.

AdditioAppTeachergradebook seems perfect for recording my K students skills. For example, I can mark smiley face, medium face, sad face to indicate mastery level. The tabs help to switch over to take notes on the concepts students need to work on. I will try using this in the classroom next week and will post an updated review. Overall, though the layout is perfect for my needs. It would just be nice if the names added could be automatically alphabetized

I just checked out AdditioAppTeachergradebook, and it has a lot of really great/useful features. However, I co-teach, and it doesn't seem that there's an easy way for us to both have access to the same grade book on each of our iPads. Is there a way to do this? I think this would be 5 stars for me if it could.

I love AdditioAppTeachergradebook but I am not able to export items. I want to export or print off the class list for subs and other uses and can not figure it out. The "help" section was of no help.
