I’ve gotten this game 2-3 years ago and every time I come back there’s a new update or event. It’s not pay to win and the little goodies everyday/week are nice such as things you would have to pay for. I always find myself admiring the pixel art which looks really good. Illustrated characters in the story line are great as well ;D New events and things keep me occupied and the game really doesn’t get old. All the characters have their own backstories and overall think the game is really well done. You can make certain teams with different combos for different things. I think the pvp system could be done differently with a separate arena for real time pvp ( not against bots ), they have a quick battle mode which has this but it isn’t ranked. I also think there should be an option to speed up these ranked matches because unless you have a quick team wipe build, your main concern isn’t whether or not you have enough colosseum tickets ( thing you use to enter pvp ), it’s whether or not you have enough time. There’s so much other things about this game that I like and you should try this out, things are slow at first but as it out advance it’s more fun. Found this game in a free my apps thing as well and ended up loving it. I rarely write reviews for games and have a nice day! :D

I think this game is pretty fun, and the pixel art for the characters are also epic, and I like how u can get items that would normally be paid for by checking in everyday and leveling up. I also like that this game is not too easy or hard, though it seems that some people have a hard time understanding that of course the first few episodes or stages of the game are easy but as u advance through of course it’s going to get harder, and some people rate this game down a few stars because of that, but I mean like that’s what makes the game fun because you like actually need to do things to advance through the harder stages and stuff, it’s not like a game where you can finish it in a few hours because it’s too easy and that’s what I like about it, the fact that the game kinda makes u invest a bit of your time into it is what I find great about it because it’s no fun if it’s too easy and if it were so easy that u don’t have to do anything than are u really playing the game or is the game playing itself for you? Just my thoughts about it

When I say forced, I mean why forced AI to be so difficult after endgame and having to pay money to get broken characters (majority of the time u don’t get said character that is needed for a specific run). I remember a time in the game where u actually worked for your characters and not pay to Lvl up, raid keys, food, weapons etc. The games has potential but needs more work. Actually make the enemies at a reasonable lvl instead of having them over 100+ like why??. Majority of the time I have to use the same 3 heroes throughout the game because they’re the only ones that can take them. Also, why are the raids after new stories so near impossible to beat. I feel as though I’m not getting my times worth at all and that i am disappointed in. I’ve literally put in the build and time to get all 70+ characters to what I need, but I still get overpowered even if I have all hero specific weapons. Can u rework enemies, food, and exp to where I feel as though I’m gaining something out of this??. Every hero in the game has potential but they are showered by broken ones. I’ve played the game since it came out and I would like to see actually changes in the game to where I can enjoy myself. If not then I must sadly uninstall it had something good going until paid to win became the new meta.

Love this game. Graphics are fun and refreshing, tons of characters interactions for building unique teams, and enough of a story to keep those of you interested going. Raids, dungeons, seasonal specials, and tons of new characters to get all of the time keep you with something new to do without overwhelming you with things to keep up with.

While collecting characters can be fun, to be competitive you need to get the dozen or so specific characters that are in the meta. While there is a P2W lean to this piece, you can get enough gems to keep up with the meta and hold on to them for the special events to get these characters (much easier to do this than other games I’ve played). Plus, you can’t just pay to get the best characters- you could dump hundreds into it and be just as good off as a newbie with a selection ticket.

Try it out. You’ll know pretty quick if it’s for you.

I have played this game for about 4 years. All on 3 different devices. I love this game, the art is fantastic and gameplay so much fun! I must have at least 4 accounts. With at least 3 that are permanently lost to game malfunctions, crashes, or data loss. I have even heard from friends who play the game that they have very similar issues. Then, one that is continuously crashing and failing to log in multiple times in a day(this is the one I use currently). Then taking the time to delete it and reinstall it makes it even worse because it takes forever. I have recommended this game to many people, and wish for myself and others to be able to enjoy it. People don’t have time for so many mistakes, so please, fix them! I want to continue to enjoy my experience with this game. With such problems, I cannot. Please allow me to continue to play my favorite game and share my experience with others. Also keep in mind that is is the very first time I have ever written a review on anything. This is a very important issue to me. So much so that I feel the need to say something so that this lovely game can get fixed for everyone.

I used to play it a lot because of the deemo collab that they did and it was fun for a while until I had hit heavy road blocks of difficulty with story levels and the forced hard mode. I wanted to spend my money so badly but I didn't want to since there had to be a way to win without using any money for gems and the only other option for me to get gems would be to wait for the events to come and I earn my gems there. Time after time again I spent for the 10 gacha draw and I would never get any meta heroes like V or the good collab heroes. I was finally annoyed with the terrible draw rates and even with the special draws that still doesn't mean you have even the slightest chance of getting the one that you want or need to get through the forced hard mode levels. Level progression for heroes is bad where one can only level up their heroes by playing levels and leveling them up there and the donut system is even worse even with the generous amount of special donuts being awarded you still get nothing but disappointment. I wanted to enjoy the story but it's not possible to enjoy the story or the game when you need to have meta heroes to get through the levels without dying.

This is a game that you can enjoy in short spurts or at length if you find the time. The benefit is equally rewarding. The devs have done an amazing job on keeping the game functioning properly without sacrificing its quality and experience for the user. It is NOT pay to play. There might be a pay to win factor in later stages, but I have enjoyed a few days of solo play without any real sign of slowing down. The only gripes I have are the daily quests not resetting to allow me to obtain the 5 needed for the daily reward and the limit on daily quest completion. It really gets annoying to see all the flashing completed signs and not knowing if rejecting one will have a negative effect on my game progression. Other than those two minor occurrences, this game is flawless and well worth the download.

This game seems fun in the beginning with it's fast-paced gameplay, but eventually when you get to endgame; challenge mode and raid, this is where it gets serious. You have to invest lots in really good tanks that have useful buffs/attacks, skill heroes which only can be gotten from contracts, and various stats/equipment and other stuff like that. The bosses in the endgame have an insane amount of armor/res so where's the fun when the only way to win is to use event/contract heroes which can buff pen/debuff? Not to mention that there are still a variety of useless heroes and overpowered heroes. As for gem gain, you have to participate in colo once just for the weekly 3 gems, or you can fight your way to 15 gems if you have an heavily invested time. The events are monotonous and are only suited for whales who spend a lot of money in the game, especially Witch War and the collection events. This game can be still fun if you want something that's unique from other games, but in terms of endgame, this is where it turns.

This game is one of the best games I’ve ever played and extremely addictive. However, I have recently used almost all of my gold, and the stages don’t give enough gold to you except for the Sunday gold dungeon. I would recommend making dungeons give a bit more gold. Also, I have recently had a problem on IOS where I go to the game but it says I need to update it. When I go to CrusadersQuest Store, CrusadersQuest doesn’t even need to be updated, but it still says it needs to be updated before I can play when I open Crusaders Quest. Other than that, there is almost nothing that developers can fix except maybe making Inheritance Books easier to obtain, as it is kind of pay to play for Inheritance Levels.

Game has been amazing and have played it for many years over multiple accounts and devices. This is my first time writing a review for the game. The reason I am writing this review is because I became interested in the re zero event and was using the 60 gem contracts to get the characters. I was then 4 gems off from getting another 10 contract so I decided to spend some money to get the 18 gem deal. When I purchased it even though I had the money on my account, it said I didn’t have enough. Then it wasted my 6ish dollars that it took to buy the gems. It’s still a good game with addicting gameplay and great soundtrack and I’ll for sure continue to play. I just hope that this bug is fixed so if I decide to buy gems or so again I don’t waste my money.

I played this game the year it came out back in 2015 and now I’m back seven years later to say i played this game for about 2yrs straight, and now I’m so happy i came back. the updates and places this game has come since then but still maintained the true essence and original vibe? amazing game. this game is not freemium at all. you can spend money and it’s more than worth it but you don’t need it AT ALL the game offers so many resources for free and even more if you just work a little bit.

the gacha aspect is super fun but it’s not hard at all to get characters or champs you like.

The game is probably one of the best pixel mobile games I have ever played. Its super entertaining and has that little bit of grind which I love. All the heroes are fairly balanced and the game is just near perfect. There is one thing that is the most annoying thing about this game and it makes it almost unplayable: loading. The amount of time that it takes to load every little thing you do such as returning to town after a quest takes so FLIPPiN long. Waiting for that green spinning circle to disappear is so irritating. You can’t click on anything and you just have to wait for it to finish whatever needs to be loaded. PLEASE fix this, as I have seen other games that are more harder to load have non of these issues. This needs to be fixed.

Big fan of AC, Fire Emblem Heroes, Dragalia lost. Loving this game. I dont know everyone else's experience with it but I started playing because of the GG Xrd Rev 2 collab since I love the GG games and managed to pull both of my favorite characters even though the rate was only 1%. Anyways, the characters are cute, the voice acting is A+ quality. The graphics are retro but endearing. All in all pretty solid little free game with hours of play available and many characters. Theres no shortage of jewels available which is the currency used for summons making this game much more approachable than games like Fire Emblem Heroes where orbs are very scarce after the story mode is completed. I definitely recommend this game if you are a fan of gatcha/idle/tap/rpgs.

Right now I am loving this game! CrusadersQuest is amazing! You can fight, decorate, and collect. You have added some amazing content after our four year anniversary. But there are some things I could recommend for you.

1. Pic mode

During a loading screens you see some pictures of the daily life the crusaders while we are not there, I would recommended a pic mode where you can choose the characters you collected and make them pose and have different backgrounds!

2. Character competitions

If you can’t think of new character designs... why can’t we make the ideas? Maybe every year (or two) you can hold a competition of new characters! It could be fun for you can for players as well.

3. A new weapon?

Well I don’t want this completely but crusaders might want this idea. Weapons are one of the upmost important resources in our crusaders quest... so why not a new one?! It will be a new experience for players all around the globe to enjoy a new weapon!

Well it is ok if you can’t make these updates! It is still a recommendation! Happy four year anniversary Crusaders Quest!!!

Ok so this is a GREAT game it’s one of the best on the entire app/play store and I have a few improvements for you guys to put in the game here they are

- let us try out a hero before we buy them
So when we are about to get a hero we can try push a button to try the hero out so we know for sure if we want them

- add more elemental hero’s
Add in hero’s that are elemental based but don’t make it so certain elements counter other elements because then you have to worry about what elements you have.

- the combat system
The current combat system is very good but I think there is a way to improve it, add in a 4th character slot, if there is a 4th slot then missions will be easier and better teams can be put together, also add in a button that lets you dodge a attack or a button that lets you move your hero’s back so you can dodge a attack, this adds more strategy to the game because we can either choose to charge at the enemy or we can choose to shoot at the enemy at long range.

Starting off in the game the story progresses smoothly and gaining powerful heroes and equipment despite being super grindy feels incredibly worth it. Even in 2021 this game still has its place and im super grateful that its still being updated. I just wish the obtaining of inheritance resources like ancient book pages and ancient books was much easier instead of doing challenges that require specific goddess cancels to survive different abilities and such. Other than that. One of the best games to date and incredibly glad for the constant updates and fun content

There’s lots to do in the game and they give you a decent chunk of currency as you start. But later parts of the game are so tough that you need to use the best characters to succeed, and there are a LOT. You probably won’t luck into it, so new players should research in advance and reroll to get a good hero. You’ll get some weapon selection tickets along the way and a hero selection ticket. From there it’s mostly luck because the worthwhile heroes are contract-only so you can’t use the game’s promotion system to upgrade 3* into worthwhile 4*.

The monetization is pretty shameless too. At the time of writing this, there is an event that lets me reroll a 10-contract pull up to 30 times before purchasing. The price, though, is $30. Realistically you’ll probably only get 1 good hero, so $30 for a non-throwaway hero.

I have had this game almost 2 weeks after release! And I’m loving it still to this day. Wonderful voice acting, unique characters, the lore of each character and the fact that it’s not pay to win! Keep in mind, the game isn’t perfect, the character rolls of 3 to 4 stars don’t vary much and after you collect every character, it’s hard to get gems unless you do arena. but each update is getting better and better each time, and the collabs are beautiful! it adds to the experience I first had of the game 3 years ago! If only they could rerelease some events that I missed *cough* *cough* RWBY....

I really like this game. To be completely fair, it's partly pay to win, however not really. The pay factor is only for lessening time. If you value time more than money you can buy gems to get premium contracts which can give you some of the best heroes in the game, or you can just wait week after week accumulate enough gems, and then go at it. The game is really solid overall-- this is my most and longest played game and I highly recommend it because of how fun and engaging it is. The story is awesome. Side note: If you are a weeaboo I highly recommend you pick this up too.

Hi, I love the game and the higher quality storytelling for an anime game, or any mobile game for that matter.

There’s a new bug it seems in version 4.15.1, I think. The enemy character after beating a level runs in the wrong direction creating an infinite loop that I can’t exit. The characters just stay there while the rescued character runs in place facing the hero characters. It has happened to me twice now while playing the campaign (the volcano one, episode 4).
