Read and Listen

I Love to hear someone read to me while I follow along. Sometimes like to hear favorite stories read to me but that is not an option... hope you can add each book and chapter soon. The reader has a wonderful voice for reading and makes listening to the daily readings wonderful to hear!

Our main Bible

The TLV is our main reading source in our home. Hoping to get the physical copy soon too. I love having all the original names throughout and some Hebrew words.

Doesn't function on IOS 14+

UPDATE: The issue was fixed and TLVBible works well now. I really enjoy listening to the Torah portion each week. ORIGINAL: Ever since my phone upgraded to iOS 14 and now 14.3, TLVBible has failed to load. Can the developers please look into this problem?

Add a few more things to it

I would like to have a tool to learn Hebrew with it if possible so I could get into to it more. I also like to see them commentaries to it as well. I would love to them make it into a compete study Bible..

Wonderful!

The Hebrew names are finally being restored. Thank you!

While the need to make names recognizable to the rest of the world is understandable, perhaps a good compromise can be reached: How about a complete "Hebrew names" mode and an "English names" mode. If the modes can be interchanged, we can get the best of both worlds, right?

A few requests

Love the TLV version. I really would love to see PORTIONS schedule on TLVBible , including Haftorah & Brit Chadasha. It would be REALLY NICE if app could jump to the readings!☺️ one other thing, I am visually impaired & have found sepia or other colors for pages are much easier to read. (Less glare than the white). Options to change that would be very nice. Thank you for an amazing version!

Making a correction on a couple of reviews.

To make it clear: the TLV is not a sacred name Bible. Jews weather Messianic or otherwise do not ever attempt to pronounce the Divine Name as it is spelled. Since this is an English translation the use of God is perfectly acceptable. Most Jews don't write "G-d". True TLVBible needs much improvement but some people here are giving negative feedback base only on their narrow bias rather than the content & usability of TLVBible.

I LOVE IT!

I download TLVBible to my iPod and last night read well into the morning hours. Being relatively new as a member of a Messianic Congregation I found it very intriguing. And the footnotes are right there to click on for additional information or reference to other connecting Bible passages.

Love the Tree of Life transaltion

This is a great translation - and I love being able to have the entire text on my iPhone, iPad and desktop computer. Cutting and pasting is simple and easy.

App Issues

TLVBible needs much better navigation. I would like to tap on screen to be able to change books rather than scroll all the way to the top. I do like the drop down for choosing books and chapters.

When I click the giant green arrow. I should move to the top of the next chapter not the bottom of the next page.

When I click the change to media top right three lines box. That is to large. And for some reason hard to get back to the text. Not sure why here.

Why can’t I swipe to the next chapter?

Why are not chapter continuous?

I have no judgements on the translation as this time. However, you use Jewish order why not Hebrew names?

Be consistent.

Nice, but if you are going to change names, you should at least be consistent. I notice Elohim used little compared to God. And where God is being used, shouldn't it be written G-d, as the Jews would write that name? Jacob should read Yakov, etc.. I mean, if you are going to change names from the English to the Hebrew, at least have the decency to change them all... not just a select few. Two stars.

AWESOME!

The God-given wisdom on this translation, and it shows the Jewish roots of our faith. I LOVE it, share this with everyone you know!

Disappointed....

I truly wish all the Hebrew names would have been used in the Tree of Life Bible.

I would give this 5 stars if the Hebrew names were used instead of English names like you did with Yeshua.

Very disappointed. This is why I will keep reading the Complete Jewish Bible.

Not Jewish but I love it!

I love reading from this translation however, not being Jewish, I find the Jewish words I have no idea what they mean. Some I do know but it would be great to have translations of the words.

Thank you for the TLV BIBLE

I have been reading the Bible since I was a child. Now I am 65years old and this is the best Bible I have read. Mrs.Daniah, I saw you on the Jewish Voice with Rabbi Bernie, whe you introduced the TLV bible. I recently order a copy and I am so thank for you “Bible Lady” that is what you said that is what you are being called. I Thank HaShem for blessing you and for his favor being on you and Rabbi Greenberg and the Messianic Jewish Family Bible Society for giving us the true Hebrew version of the Bible in it’s true form. it has been translated so many times that the Hebrew roots was not embraced. Thank you, Thank you!!!! .........D.Lattimore

Great app

TLVBible is altogether great would love a hebrew version, audio version, a daily scripture, and a daily verse but everything else is awesome

Love it y’all!

Can you add a recording for Shabbat candle lighting?

Also when reading scripture, is there a way to change to the next chapter with an arrow key so you don’t have to use the drop down menu every time?

I love it you guys! Thanks for all the extra stuff you incorporated in it!
