Dear, devs, please, finally fix the bug:
When I airdrop a folder with music from my Mac to iPhone and then put it into “JetAudio” folder in Files, the next song won’t play if I lock the phone.

JetAudio sees the files inside jetAudioHiResMusicPlayer correctly and I can play them no problems, but the second I turn off the screen, it won’t play another song once one ends.

It’s shows as if it’s playing, but no sounds are coming through the headphones. You have to take out the phone, unlock it, open JetAudio, then press play again and only then the music starts playing.

This bug has been in jetAudioHiResMusicPlayer for 6+ months, I’ve reported it to you before, but to no avail.

This bug makes your app unusable, because you can’t just let it play in the background. Do you use your own product? How come nobody encountered this before?!

P.S. If you send from Mac and open one song at a time and use contextual menu “Open in JetAudio” I think it plays normally, but if I simply place new folder with music into JetAudio folder (or separate tracks for that matter), it seems like jetAudioHiResMusicPlayer just doesn’t know what to do, and doesn’t play songs continuously.
Please fix that. Before you do, it’s 1 star, because the main functionality - playing music - is totally broken in a described scenario.

Great features, but irritating to use because of the latest update. jetAudioHiResMusicPlayer will not run in the background if you’re using another app for reading like Kindle. It now keeps asking me if I want to play the song that I just selected. And it ask repeatedly if I want to view the albums or the songs. The way that it was before was fine. Now I have two or three extra steps just to listen to one song. Is there anyway to revert to a previous version? I’m looking for another media player now. Upgrades that downgrade the quality of the using jetAudioHiResMusicPlayer . Go figure.

Edit: Update 12/20 - The new app version makes all the album art, thumbnails, all images blurry. Makes everything difficult to look at. I hope it gets fixed soon because it's a rather huge problem for people that rely on album art and customize their albums.

The only thing jetAudioHiResMusicPlayer is missing is a widget that you can put on your home screen. A lot of other music apps are now adding that plus the stock app has it as well. Every update I hope there would be a widget but hopefully one will come soon. Would love to see play lists or now playing or recently played on the home screen as a widget. Please consider doing this devs!

Edit: Still waiting for a widget. Widget aside, this is the absolute best replacement for the default music player on jetAudioHiResMusicPlayer store. I tried tons of other music apps and this has the best interface, gestures, and features. I hope for more updates in the future.

In the previous version when I play a track from my song list it would also automatically add more tracks. You would end up with a long list on the Now Playing window without any options to clear it.
This is a geat update. They have added the ability to clear the now playing list!
And with the new version it will only add the tracks that you want to include on the Now Playing window.
I now use jetAudioHiResMusicPlayer instead of the default iOS music player.
Excellent features include customizable intereface. You have the ability to change colors and font size. I have mine on a dark theme. Crossfade playback is available but I like the Gapless playback option where it minimizes or eliminates the silence in between tracks.
Other features available but I personally don't use are custom equalizer (in app purchase) and ability to play hi res audio files. I like just having a flat eq.
I've got around 5,000 music files on my iphone and scrolling through the song list has been smooth. jetAudioHiResMusicPlayer has also been stable.
This is the best iOS music app in my opinion especially if you like doing "on the go" playlists.

So they added a message when u add a track to Now Playing, good. It does lots of other things right too.
I would even buy the plugin to get rid of ads but last time I did, it broke the music browser by hiding the menu bar and removing the swipe to add a track to Now Playing. I emailed them but never heard back so who knows, maybe they fixed it, maybe not. Guess I’ll keep my $3.99.
I do wish any of these music apps had an option to say “Are you really sure you want to clear the Now Playing list that u just spent 30 mins creating” when you accidentally hit a track name instead of swipe to add, it is so annoying when a list just vanishes and gets replaced by every track on album instead. Would it be that hard?
It would also be good if u could save the whole Now Playing list as a Playlist instead of having to go thru the list adding each track one a time to a playlist. Duh!
Anyhow, hope the Jet people pay more attention to their Apple reviews more than they do to their support emails or the broken link to their facebook page.

I’ve been looking for a music player app for iPhone for a long long time. Yet so far this is the only one that is robust enough with all the features that I want to have in music player.
Want to request to add crossfade option to overlap songs without silent gap, like dj mode for both auto play and manual skipping songs. A better auto songs loudness leveling would be nice, and option to disable sound focus change when other incoming alert are coming like texts message or reminder, navigation announcements so it won’t disrupt the music playing stream

I have to say this is very similar to the look and feel of the player I previously used. The equalizer is much better than the stock Apple Music app. The sound is great.

CarPlay has a few minor issues. One, the browser settings for how categories look on the phone, do not carry over to CarPlay. Not a deal breaker.
Two, when I want to jump to the albums beginning with, say the letter “G”, that specific screen shows just a few letters, and it’s mostly the letter “T”. Again, not a deal breaker since I shouldn’t be using the controls while driving.

The only missing feature is the ability to group albums by artist when filtering by album and genre. It would be a nice feature to be able to open a genre, then see the artists in that genre, then be able to click on the artist and see their albums in that specific genre. I know I’m being picky, but it is a great feature in the old player.

An amazing app in genral but with a minor flaw which is
1.Really needs an option to keep playback rate to resume long audios later right where we left off
2.an ability to stamp,mark,save or what it might be called inside audio files for reaching faster to the specific marked time
3.when you add a folder inside the folder section with pc or files app the other sections such as artist,songs ant etc doesn't recognize and them in that sections
I hope this 3 extremely needed features soon will be added

I consider myself an audiophile and a bit of a perfectionist. This is simply the best music player period. You want customization well with jetAudioHiResMusicPlayer you can fine tune your music to exactly how you want. There is no shortage of settings but more than anything the sound is separated, detailed and punchy. It’s perfect. And oh by the way a special thanks to the developer for including the long awaiting visual settings!! That was the only thing missing from this gem. jetAudioHiResMusicPlayer is now perfect.

Very stable app, not updated with UI changes periodically that confuse you like with Apple Music. Confusing to figure out settings at first, I ignore most of the features. I wish you could organize albums as “most recent” like with Apple and streaming apps. It’s worth the money to get rid of ads regardless. It is very dependable. Much better to use than Apple Music most of the time. I use it on iPhone and iPad, with my music uploaded to the device from iTunes with Apple Music.

Been using Jetaudio for couple years now as my second music player apart from apple’s stock player by far this is the best for me atleast tones of features to make your music sound great with the equalizer that will blow things out of the frame even if you got low quality headphones this will make your music sound nice with bass lows ect.. you won’t be disappointed trust me so don’t hesitate and get it download now also the feedback is perfect fast communication nice thanks Jetaudio team for this amazing application keep rocking on!!

I have tried dozens of apps claiming audio quality - but- jetAudioHiResMusicPlayer is easily superior to the others in many ways: i.e. equalizations, different audio enhancement menus for creating real-live bass and treble sounds, sleep timers ( my favorite feature to help calm me down at night to sleep ), multiple ways to share my music ( I develop midi music for professional presentations), and app plays or displays all the types of formats I use! Very user friendly and versatile. Ok... i told you. Now, back to listening now. (User beware: Jet Audio may become addictive ). 👀

There was a music player app on iOS that I really liked that had good equalizer control and extra options but it was taken down from jetAudioHiResMusicPlayer Store. This one was the most similar to that app I liked.

I like the EQ controls, the ability to slow down or speed up the playback, and a bunch of other useful options. I like how you could easily move an MP3 file to the folder of jetAudioHiResMusicPlayer using the My Files app, and then jetAudioHiResMusicPlayer will play the MP3 file without needing to it iTunes and creating a playlist. This music player really does a lot and the features are useful to me. It is useful as an audiobook or podcast player as well as MP3 music.

My only suggestion is to add "pitch correction" for when the playback speed is slowed down. The issue I have is when I slow down the playback speed, I could hear stuttering and gaps. I have used other music player apps and they have a feature to fix this issue by using software to stretch the sound file to avoid gaps and stutters when the playback is slowed down. I listen to MP3 audiobooks and I slow down the speech since the narrator sometimes reads too fast. I hope the developer reads this and considers adding this feature!

I’ve been a big fan of jetAudioHiResMusicPlayer for a while! Although music navigation is a little tedious sometimes, the magic happens when you use the AM3D audio enhancer along with the 20 band equalizer. I’m using these with high end iem’s (Sennheiser ie600) and it can produce a very natural sub-bass boost without coloring the mids and highs. I highly recommend purchasing the base app for the 20 band eq, as well as the plugins, because they’re very worth it. I’ve given up on using my $500 dacs and amps, because frankly jetAudioHiResMusicPlayer sounds better than they ever can!

I highly recommend jetAudioHiResMusicPlayer! It’s better than perhaps any other iPad music player app for songs stored on your device. It rarely crashes, it plays my music easily and can seek with no loading interruptions unlike most other apps, keeps my music as organized as possible, is very customizable with it’s options, can play music at lower Hz frequencies depending on pitch, easy and fun to use. I love the interface and the convenience of it. I have never had a problem with it! If your looking for an app to rely on to play all of your music, jetAudioHiResMusicPlayer is it! 150% recommended :)

jetAudioHiResMusicPlayer is excellent. Put on your best headphones and dive in. Don’t even consider not buying the add-ins. Truly the best I’ve tried. And you can save many settings and even have different settings that switch automatically depending on how you’re listing - headphones, Bluetooth speaker etc.

If you’ve only used the native eq settings, be prepared to want to listen to all your favorites as if for the first time ever. Yep, it’s that good.

Having purchased at least 8 other paid eq apps over the past several years, I can say there are some other decent ones, but this one is simply at a whole different level.

I've had this players for years and I love it. My lame car stereo, one of those UConnect things that come with Jeeps and can't be replaced by a decent Pioneer, sounds really nice when I connect my phone and use this player instead of the Apple Music one. Not only it comes with a great EQ, but the DSP add-ons are great and inexpensive. This can also make really cheap earbuds sound much better.
And to the idiot that left a 1 star review because it doesn't open in macOS, do yourself a favor, and learn about the technology before you make a stupid statement like that. Just because it's an M1 Mac doesn't mean that every app for iOS and iPad OS is going to work on macOS. It says so very clear at the top, "Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS."

I did not want to mix my audio files for language study with my iTunes/Music library, and it’s not easy to create two separate iTunes/Music libraries. So, I searched around and came across JetAudio and downloaded it specifically for language learning. It’s great! Easy to transfer files via Wi-Fi and what I like most is that JetAudio has a built-in A-B repeat button so i can listen to difficult parts over and over again. The A-B wasn’t easy to find for me, so I emailed JetAudio and got a response back from a real person in less than 24 hours! Outstanding! JetAudio also plays the audio for mp4/video files I uploaded, which is what I need for language learning sometimes. Overall, great app, reasonable price, and outstanding service. Check it out.

I’ve used at least 10 different iOS music apps. They don’t even come close. In addition to all the standard features you expect in a music app, let me explain why jetAudioHiResMusicPlayer is amazing. AB repeat - want to repeat just a part of a song, this is the only music app I’ve found for free that does this. Want to speed up or slow down playback - this is one of the few free apps that’s lets you do it. Need an equalizer - you got it. Need hifi support - you got it. Need a simple sound effect editor - you got it. Need a sleep (stop playing) or wake (start playing) timer - you got it. Need WiFi sharing - you got it. jetAudioHiResMusicPlayer has all of the features you find in other apps and offers it in one package.

The biggest con is probably the interface. By no means is it ugly, but it can feel cluttered due to all the features jetAudioHiResMusicPlayer has.

Ultimately you’re not getting a better music app for free. This is the one.

EDIT: Received a email response from jetAudio support and they are working on a fix for the described crashes..

On iPad IOS 12.x.x the new version will now crash when scrolling up or down on the (folder) Browser screen when a song is playing.. also it will sometimes crash when switching from the Now Playing main screen back to the (folder) Browser screen. The player never did this on previous versions..

Just found another problem.. The player now crashes every time when the “Refresh” prompt is selected in the drop down Menu..
This crash occurs on both recent updates 10.4.0 and 10.4.1

I don’t use the IOS Music folder. All of my music files are placed in jetAudio custom Folders. So I don’t know if the other iTunes music Browser screens are affected.

Other than that the jetAudio Player is still excellent. Have been using it for several years.. Just hope that the devs can fix these annoying problems soon..
