Great App !

Really love RuntasticSteps, keeps track of my walking regimen along with my wife having it also ! We can actually see and count our movements for the day that we used to just guess at. I used to drive my truck thru the course to see how far we went but steps and how fast you move is what counts. Recommend this to all my senior friends as we are both over 60. Why buy expensive gadgets to wear when our cells do it all for us and more !

LOVIN IT šŸ‘šŸ» šŸ˜ƒ

Absolutely love RuntasticSteps!!! It's by far the best one I've used. It's fun, easy to navigate and makes me want to do more just to see if I can beat yesterday's performance. I work in retail and it amazes me at how far I walk on a daily basis. This was the reason I got it to begin with, then fell in love with it! I just wish some of my friends would connect with me so we could feed off of each other's progress. 5 āļø's!

Days drop out of system

Overall RuntasticSteps has some good features, but seems to be challenged in a very important one. For some unknown reason days completed seem to drop out of the system. The system tracked and reported my highest number of steps ever. Two days later I went back in to share the details with my wife. The day--a Thursday-- was completely gone from the system. Ugh! This was not the first time I noticed days being dropped, but unfortunately it was my best day ever. It's the free app, so the performance certainly does not urge me to buy the product.

Why I didnā€™t give 5 stars

I really liked RuntasticSteps and would have given it 5 stars until for some reason it totally dropped my step count for yesterday, saying I had 0 steps for the whole day. When I checked the Health app on my phone; it said I had 4193 steps( my daily goal is 3750 steps) for yesterday. I had a 208 day streak going. Usually, Runtastic Steps syncs with the Health app on iPhone. Needless to say I am very disappointed that through no fault of my own; my streak has been broken.

As long as you have your phone with you, it calculates pretty accurate.

I really enjoy this as it is paired with MyFitnessPal. I can keep a check, on my weight, and on my steps. The only downside, is if you move around the house, wanting to check your Steps, and you leave your phone on the counter. It does not do well counting the steps laying on the counter. LOL

Live time step count

I was considering upgrading but in the free version I donā€™t see my step count in live time and no idea what triggers it to calculate. The help feature was useless.
Iā€™m not paying for something that doesnā€™t have support or directions for the simple activities.

It would be nice to be able to ask someone how this step feature works since it seems to calculate randomly but not useful while walking since it doesnā€™t show live time like my previous app did. This was the replacement app for the one I used all the time.

Was loving it

Works ok. Widget doesn't update without having to go into RuntasticSteps . and the calories count is cut off: illegible.
Syncs to my Runtastic, Squats, Leg Trainer, Health, & My FitnessPal apps and puts its all together. If I had the rest of the Runtastic app family they would work, too. It gathers my Sleep info from my Misfit Shine, too. I can see all of my collected info in one easy to read place.

Update: it isn't collecting my sleep info. It should retrieve it from Apple Clock/Health, but isn't even after resetting.

Great health tracker app!

RuntasticSteps is on top of everything that needs to be tracked for those who are trying to improve their health. From keeping up with your steps to tracking your sleep patterns. RuntasticSteps just about does it all. I would recommend RuntasticSteps for anyone interested in keeping up with their health facts.

A pedometer app

I like RuntasticSteps, it does a great deal in walking more. This pedometer does a great job in keeping track of the amount I do everyday. I am sorry that you decided to not track our statistic any more. Thank you for tracking the steps, time of activity, and miles or kilometers we walk or ran.

Hate this new version of Me

Iā€™ve been using Runtastic/Pro and Me step counter since 2014. When the step app received a makeover thatā€™s when my problems started. With the old version of RuntasticSteps I could sync RuntasticSteps with my Orbit and could see almost real-time my steps. With this new version, it doesnā€™t sync real-time. Additionally Iā€™ve tried waiting until the next day and no steps add. Iā€™ve just stopped tracking because itā€™s becoming too frustrating . Send emails to customer service but they didnā€™t help either.

Wish It Wasnā€™t Going Away!!!

RuntasticSteps was prefect for tracking my steps. Plus there were simple plans to help me get started in moving more, losing weight and even running. Sad to hear it will be going away. I am hoping they add the things you can do with RuntasticSteps to the Runtastic app.

Glitchy update

Another update and more glitches. Unfortunately, all the stats are still wrong after the update. The stats in the Health app *are* correct. The Runtastic support staff did respond to my email, so hopefully they will sort this out soon. I use to have a paid subscription and they took a long to reply with scripted text, despite the claim paid members received priory. This quicker response is promising. I hope they fix the glitches because the old app was rock solid and this new app is anything but...

Love this app!

I love how RuntasticSteps keeps me on track and helps to motivate me as well. I just wish it didn't keep asking if I want to purchase the premium version and I already purchase this one. I won't buy the premium because I'm happy with this one and it gives me what I need!!!

I love this App!

I no longer need to use a chart to track my activities for steps. I just grab my phone, keep it on my & it instantly tracks every step I make, even if I forget to open RuntasticSteps . Iā€™ve even been motivated to actually move everyday so I can reach my goal!

Only one thing

Love RuntasticSteps but wished it picked up all my steps. Iā€™ve walked around the house and no entries also when itā€™s in my purse while walking in the mall ect no steps record :(( now today itā€™s been in my back pocket as usual and has not registered one step:( seems it only records long amts of steps not short distances but many steps total :((
