CBS DFW Weather Reviews

Loved using CBSDFWWeather while in DFW so much that I still use it daily after living in Tulsa, OK for the past 5 years! Really helpful Hourly Forecast for next 48 hrs - plus excellent Radar Map with options to see last hour’s weather track and/or next few hrs forecast - for your current location anywhere in the States or for any specified city.

CBSDFW 11 Meteorologists do give the most accurate weather reports for Northeast Texas. They have proven that. I love everyone that works there. News Anchors, Forecasters, Reporters etc. To me they are the most down to earth, caring, group I’ve seen on tv. I look forward to the news and weather everyday. God Bless all of you.

I tried to find somewhere in CBSDFWWeather to leave feedback but couldn’t find a place. I Use the radar anytime there is a storm near and it is great, but the future radar has gotten worse, not sure if you changed the logic in it, but something has changed. It really likes to show storms just falling apart now even as they are visibly growing stronger on the radar.

I watch the video in the morning to get a refresher on the weather. Lately, when to touch the icon to play the forecast nothing happens. I can move the icons up and down and all other functions but can’t activate the video of the weather person. Also, the end of Brittany’s forecast frequently gets cut off and that’s annoying to the point I’m looking for another weather app.

CBSDFWWeather is the most accurate one I have tried. I like the fact that the forecast is constantly updated and the forecast is for my location. The radar is also very helpful.

I’ve really enjoyed CBSDFWWeather. I find the numbers to be much more accurate that other weather apps. The rain chances are super helpful when planning my day. And if I miss the watching the newscast on TV, I can pull up the video here. Thanks, CBS!

CBSDFWWeather does a good good of forecasting maybe 12 hours in advance, but a couple of days ahead? Not so much. It’s better at observing what is happening currently. One inconsistency is that the daily forecast might give a 0% chance of rain, but if you look at the summary for the day it might mention showers or rain chances. The radar works well.

This has been my weather station for years. It keeps me up to date on storms , heat waves, alerts, almost everything happening. Would not want to do without it.

I pressed retry on the network error screen told me that it would like to send me notifications I pressed allow and when I got back in CBSDFWWeather stuff appeared I am now rating this five stars

CBSDFWWeather is great and accurate. I have several towns and can see the weather of places I have family.

I find CBSDFWWeather as a excellent tool to review the weather when I am ready/interested …useless nickname

This has always been a great weather app, but it’s recently started showing a full day ahead on the daily forecast… i.e. tomorrow the low is 13, but it’s the FOLLOWING day on CBSDFWWeather . I also deducted a star for no status bar weather display option.

Are y’all having problems with CBSDFWWeather ?

It’s great during the week. I would like to see updated weather videos on the weekend. They broadcast weather on Saturday and Sunday mornings on TV, but do not include those in videos on CBSDFWWeather .

Every option is well crafted.
My go to weather app. Excellent weather map and great choice of hourly forecast or daily forecast.

I have been watching Channel 11 since 1992 when I moved to Dallas and it only gets better.

It seems like during peak weather times when I try to pull up the weather radar I don’t get anything sometimes I can kill CBSDFWWeather and it comes back but most the time not

Everything was working great until my last update. Now map freezes every time.

This used to be my go to weather map—not so much anymore. Where are the earthquakes I used to see? I have folks in California and I want to see how close they were to the 2 major earthquakes they just had. The light, dark and satellite feature is now awful. Return it to its better days please...don’t understand how when something isn’t broken it needs to be fixed...

During tonight’s storms, app kept shutting down on me. We were on our way home from Houston and I was trying to see where the storm was in relation to where we were (Hutchins) and every time I looked back down, I was on my home screen. Went to the nbc app, don’t like there weather reports, but least it was stable

Something changed, maybe after the last update, but no longer happy with the apps performance. Won’t open at times, very unreliable, have to use other apps to get my weather. You need to look into it before I completely delete your app...

The radar seems to work fine. And tapping the arrow to show the track of movement was working the other day. Now it shows nothing. The time sequence goes by but the map shows nothing, just clear. We're in a tornado watch with dangerous storms and I can't even tell if it's headed my way. I'm only seeing the "still" radar. Please fix this!

CBSDFWWeather keeps either freezing or crashing on me cant ever seem to scroll through the sections. App is inaccurate when telling the weather like right now it says 80% chances of thunderstorms and its totally clear

Besides other inaccuracies... One feature I use on every weather app is setting locations of my siblings. CBSDFWWeather forces ALL notifications to be ON for every selected location...?? No thank you.

Please fix the map. Keeps crashing on ipad. Radom lock ups almost every time.

Used to use app for weather forecast. Videos stopped working several weeks ago. Sent email to support and got canned response. Goodbye cbs 11...delete.

Used to love CBSDFWWeather. HATE the new map. It doesn’t seem as accurate as before.

Button names are totally broken in iOS 11. Reinstalling didn’t help.

Great information for those in DFW.. Alerts are nice except for the lightning... Please add away to select what alerts users want to receive. Phone sounds alarms or buzz repeatedly with each lightning strike during storms. Even on vibrate mode this is disruptive when in a meeting etc... Think AMC meteorologist are the only ones wanting that much lightning notification... :)
