Texas hunting & fishing apt.

For those who write a bad review have no idea as how to use a mobile phone. After reviewing the apt. I was really surprised of the new updates. Loved those about the fishing info! This apt. Has it all and still more. For you fellows out there in never never land, ya better get this apt. Because it’s like a Tech order book. And some of my service buddies know what I am talking about. If something is out of date ya better check the Tech data first to see the the change. This way ya won’t be getting a citation from our friends from the Dept. of law enforcement. Remember, these guys do save lives from time to time. Ya all take care out there in the hunting field and on the lakes. One last thought, leave the alcohol at home for a safe hunting and fishing trip.

Outdoor Annual

I love TexasOutdoorAnnual. I have all the regulations at my fingertips. As a fishing guid and hunter this puts the book right in my hands. Customers ask all the time about fishing or hunting regulations and with the Outdoor Annual app I don’t have to hunt for my book. Thanks to all our Game Wardens for your service. Remember to clean and dry your boats.

This app has a strange feature

I have Safari and pop ups entirely blocked on my phone, so I cannot use the web. However, if I do click on one of these links, it strangely takes me to TexasOutdoorAnnual

Slow To Update Active Licenses?

I purchased my Yearly All-Water License more than a month ago. I’m here in Port Aransas realizing that I forgot my paper license. No problem, I see that I can use TexasOutdoorAnnual. Come to find out it’s got my expired day license from a year ago and a license from 2011 on there, but no currently active 2021 license. What is the point? I’m hoping the confirmation email with my customer number and proof of purchase is enough for the wardens.

Great to have!

So far, so good! TexasOutdoorAnnual works fine. Have had no issues with it.

It would also be nice to be able to link your Hunter’s Education certificate so it’s all here.

Quick info

Love TexasOutdoorAnnual for the most part. The load times vary. This month, the fishing part of TexasOutdoorAnnual is not loading on iPhone.

By

I miss the old version

I liked the older version where I could scroll through the images of fish. It’s not a huge issue but not everyone knows the names of every fish.

Works on any iPhone great

I was out in the middle of no where and had good service

MAKE IT AVAILABLE IN DIGITAL WALLET

For quick access, it should be available in the digital wallet. You can just double click and check your dates.

By

Hunting date.

When are you going to update hunting date to this season. Still has last season dates.

By

Seasons

What takes so long to update the hunting seasons? General season is always the first Saturday of November. Bow season always fluctuates. Kinda hard to plan vacation time when no one knows when bow season starts.

By

Handy App

Very handy to have. Same info as the book. But would be nice, if they had pictures of the fish to help identify. Have no pictures of saltwater fish.

By

No internet access

Claims I have no internet access but have perfect service have deleted and re downloaded TexasOutdoorAnnual at least a dozen times over the last two weeks and get the same exact problem!!!!! Real aggravating!!!

By

Fishing Lake Belton

Lots of fishing info perfect for a late fall visit - no winter this year? Mid/schooling bass and unbelievable diverse types. Rent the pontoon, go to the finger channels, bob a frog or go live minnows and enjoy. Best hill country fishing in TX

Typical Government Run Project

First thing that pops up when you update TexasOutdoorAnnual is a disclaimer saying that the info in TexasOutdoorAnnual may not be accurate. Therefor if you follow TexasOutdoorAnnual but hung or fish game illegally you can still face charges. Then it says it is on you to do research of the regulations.... I thought that’s what I was doing......

Will not open on iPhone 8

Same connectivity issues as the other reviews. It gives the following error: Network Error - Unable to update regulations data - Please check internet connection and restart app.

By

App says no internet connection

App says no internet connection and won’t load. I definitely do have internet access. Had the hunter safety class today and Heard how useful TexasOutdoorAnnual can be. Please fix the issue. Or at least explain why it is not fixed.

Update on no limit fish spices type needed

Any information about size and quantity of trout and croaker would help

7-5-17 works for me

Despite the negative reviews I decided to give it a shot. I installed and it opened up. I browsed around and had 0 issues. It's all old info from last season but the new booklets aren't out yet so . . . . If the new info updates next month, I'll update my review accordingly.

Won’t load data on iPhone X

Worked great until about 2 months ago. Now, nothing will load.

By

App won’t connect

App will not connect for data. And yes, it’s updated. So the guy claiming the poor reviews is due to those not knowing how to use a phone, there isn’t a lot we can do.

By

Not working

App claims no internet access and will not open.

By

Doesn’t Work!

App says no internet connection, please fix!

By
