This is amazing even if I forget my wallet I still have my app with my license and can check hunting regulations easily the only thing that could use improvement is the hunting regulations can only be viewed when connected to the Internet or cell phone towers and when I'm in the woods that not always possible still it's a great app!

The idea of it is great but the actual app is complete garbage. You have to sign in every time you want to do a certain action. When trying to use the enotch action, none of your license info comes up so you can’t even use it. It’s confusing to use and all around us needs lots of improvement. How can I tag my harvest without the option being available?! I have to use the website which completely defeats the purpose of GoOutdoorsVA !

A good, simple app. It’s much faster and easier to just go into GoOutdoorsVA and tag an animal than calling it in.

After years of hunting licenses it still will not sync my license so that I can check in with GoOutdoorsVA . Still use the phone line to check game. Other than basic information GoOutdoorsVA is a poor performer.

Since the last update when I go to my view mobile history GoOutdoorsVA closes automatically

When I first downloaded GoOutdoorsVA it did great. but now it won’t load the feeding times or sun and moon times. Everything else seems to work still .

I purchased my fishing license and trout stamp but when I click on view the license it doesn’t show them there. Not happy at all. It shows the purchase but not on the card. Only my name, birthday and CID

After the new iOS update GoOutdoorsVA will kick me out before I can see my license

Mattaponi WMA in Milford County Virginia is not listed. I'm new to the area and understand this is a new WMA, it would have been nice to see a map.
I also keep getting booted off and have to re-start app when trying to record the date of my trophie

Never connects. 404 server errors all the time. Even on WiFi back at home. Won’t sync license. Can’t check game. I see almost no use for GoOutdoorsVA. Still have to call in game using the phone and paper license.

Between basic navigation and relevant information, it’s clear that this is just another committee-based application built on zero input from the people who will actually use GoOutdoorsVA .

I am from out of state I find it very useful and helpful. Not perfect but my home state has nothing!!!

This is a privacy concern, just like many other apps.

After the last update every time I try using GoOutdoorsVA on my iPad the screen goes black until I close GoOutdoorsVA . Totally not working.

Won’t connect with my location service on my phone. Tried deleting and adding again. Still not along me my location

Does not work on any IOS device with an older than IOS 14. Leaves out many still operating devices.

Same message for days now. A real problem when the warden showed up!!!

Not getting all the links will not open it keeps saying error.

I like it but the location doesn’t work for me, it’s all over the place, just now I checked it and it’s showing I’m in the middle of the lake...I ain’t! Is there a way to calibrate it or fix this??

I just noticed that the Arkansas version of GoOutdoorsVA that was created by the same developer has a game check feature!

Very nice job DGIF! However, the hunting section really needs a game check capability. This would be great if I could check a deer or turkey by selecting a tab in the hunting section and then just clicking a series of boxes or drop-down menu items to provide the information you need from me. My tag number could be sent via email or text or directly from GoOutdoorsVA .

GoOutdoorsVA is a con, it will get you a ticket, you still have to print out your license. Even though this is an official app through the Virginia Department of game and inland fisheries its sole purpose is to help game wardens write more tickets for unsuspecting License holders. I was informed by the game warden GoOutdoorsVA hold no official standing in VA. It is completely unusable even though you have proof that you have purchased a license the law says it must be printed so they will ticket you anyway possibly confiscate your game and gun. Just another scam for tax money in this liberal state of Virginia. Print your license and delete GoOutdoorsVA.

Developers: Your app has GPS Location as a feature but sunrise/sunset are features a million other apps do much better.

Why don't you use it and show the hunter/fisherman (based on location) what the bag limits and seasons are for THAT GPS LOCATION? Virginia hunting regs are needlessly confusing and broken into specific city/county and east/west regulations that change every year...

It would actually make make GoOutdoorsVA useful- in it's currently form it's nothing but and electronic version of the book given out at any Walmart...

If they had zero stars GoOutdoorsVA would get it. The point of an app is to simplify not complicate. Come on VADGIF! All the money us outdoorsy folks pay in fees annually and you can't develop something that works as intended? Don't we pay extra for bears now? Not user friendly. Most important features are so difficult to access that they become pretty much useless. Navigation is a nightmare. Did you hire the Obamacare affordable health care act website development team to create this joke? You've got to be kidding me! We know your intentions are good but dang, fix please! Frustrating.

Most features work except the location search for local lakes based on my location. Also the lake info link will work sometimes but not always. Also the sunset/sunrise time doesn't seem to work for my location either. It's a great idea just needs some tweaking.
