I downloaded the free app which is really just an empty shell devoid of product listings. I then paid $6.99 to “upgrade” to the current app populated with the product listings. Well, despite what the App Store says, you can’t do family sharing with the full product. You and your spouse will both have to pay $6.99 each to get the full app.
And there’s no way to reach the developer to ask about this. Try to find an email address at their website! There’s just a twitter handle - but some of us refuse to tweet. There should be better support for a paid app.

As difficult as it was to search the many different indexes in the book (instead of one index like normal), the app is even harder to navigate. It was so hard to find anything, but now I paid to update for this year, and it says, “The list is empty” and there are no products listed at all. I need to place an order for products but I can’t research them with a dead app. I will be looking for a different Pesach guide from now on.

So, when an App has ‘GET’ next to it, it’s free. This app has the get for the free download, but then it’s has the gottchya. It will cost $6.99 to see the listing of available foods. It has a caveat about needing to download after Shabbat. But it’s Thursday and not Yom Tov.
