I have used Stynt for a couple of years now while I have been in school, and definitely will no longer be using them.
They do not advocate for their professionals at all. An office can change your hours to whatever they want, even if you worked a longer shift, because they do not want to pay the extra money. Even after you call Stynt and let them know that the hours are inaccurate, they will take the offices word over yours. So if you work through your lunch, or stay late, the office has the option of not compensating you for it.
Also, if you work over 10 hours, Stynt gets payed extra money, and does not give the professional anything. They get a bonus for you working longer hours.
It’s just a very unethical temp agency, and I would NOT recommend.

They now make you turn your location on to ALWAYS. They track where you are going everyday even when not using StyntDentalJobsMarketplace or their services!!! They called me to ask if I worked a job that I got using a temp agency (not them) bc they saw I was there and said it is not allowed bc that is an office that uses them?? How is that my problem that an office wants to use a temp agency instead of StyntDentalJobsMarketplace now. When I questioned how they knew I was there she could not tell me, was changing the subject and kept putting me on hold! They used my location to see where I was!!! I did not give permission to be stalked!!! Do not use StyntDentalJobsMarketplace!

The pay for Assisting is Atrocious! The dental field has been breaking the roof with all the new technology. Our jobs have required us to learn so much more and provide doctors with so much more support. How is it we used to make $10 less than hygiene wage and now they are making $40 more an hour than us? They are getting what they deserve. Why aren’t assistants getting what we deserve. Why anyone would want to be an assistant is beyond me you’re treated like dirt. The more experience, the more knowledge the more passion you have nobody wants to pay for that. They want an uneducated uncaring body to sit in for a $20 an hour.

I was excited to temp with Stynt. The application process seemed smooth, until I had to follow up with them twice to check my references over a two week period. I was told the verification would take three days. After receiving 5 calls and 4 text reminders for the job from Stynt, the office I temped at was a success! Nice people and organized. I was told that payroll would send me an email two days after the job. No other information was given. I didn’t receive the email and when I called, they told me to email the company. I feel like after they place you they couldn’t care less about you getting paid. You are responsible for setting up payroll AFTER you worked a shift. Disappointed.

I really love the freedom I have to make my own schedule with Stynt.
My concern is that offices aren’t required to provide a valid reason (from an in-office member) to unmatch a professional from the office. What I mean by that is if the professional is following all protocols, including recordkeeping, and is abiding by legal obligations, I don’t feel an office should be able to just unmatch a provider for doing so just because they want to cut corners and violate standards. It makes it very hard to work and make a paycheck.

Honestly i love StyntDentalJobsMarketplace . It’s so helpful if you need a job last minute near your area. You can pick your own hours and schedule that is the best part about it. However, the couple of things that i would change about StyntDentalJobsMarketplace is one being… actually knowing which office and the name you’re going to be placed at. I’ve have this happen maybe twice and its an all day affair. What i mean by that is I have to cancel it on my end then my account gets paused then i have to email Stynt to fix my account because there was a conflict with said office. It’s a whole hassle. But if i knew prior to applying to the job of which office it was i would’ve never applied and i wouldn’t have to go through a whole day event just to unpause my account. Another i would say is having an actual template for the offices of what they actually need that day. (Meaning what assistant)Some offices are great about it but more than 90% of the time the office doesn’t specify what assistant they need. I’ve walked into two periodontist offices and I’ve told them I’m pretty much useless because i only know general. It all ended up working out but it’s super frustrating for the assistant and the doctor.

I enjoy using StyntDentalJobsMarketplace because it is easy to navigate and convenient however I don’t feel that the6 should be able to track my every move. If I am using StyntDentalJobsMarketplace or if I take on a job then it is acceptable but if I am not they should not be able to know where I am and they use the excuse that in order to give us proper job information but if I supply my home address then that should be more than enough. The reality is that it’s just a control tactic to see what we are doing every second and that is illegal and is a violation of our privacy as independent contractors.

This is a great company and app to use if you are looking for temporary dental personnel assignments. StyntDentalJobsMarketplace is easy to use, the prompts ( texts) are good, my only issue is if the internet is spotty in a location you are sent to, it’s hard to log in your start and stop times.
They always verify your hours with the office the next day though, so it’s never prevented me from getting paid.

Some issues with app Not enough aplications, I only get 1 notification per month Sometimes takes 2 months till a got another one. Even I apply for all Saturdays and Sundays by default One of the places they did not pay, because they said I wasn't requested. I called to report the office and that's it, I never heard anything after that incident. That been said The 7 jobs I attended I was fine and did my best to help the office that I worked on

I’ve had such a positive experience working with Stynt! As a dental assistant, I love the flexibility it offers. I can choose when and where I work, which has been a game-changer for my work-life balance. I have never been one to review applications. However as a Dental Hygienist in NY, StyntDentalJobsMarketplace works wonders. Once I made sure my profile was at 100% completed I started getting hired for jobs whenever I applied. The offices have been great and the pay is amazing. The best part is you work when you want, and where you want. There are also plenty of opportunities for jobs. However, I wish there were more jobs available in Queens. I’m sure with time more offices will get on board in my area.

I started using Stynt a year ago and have been doing really good finding good jobs that pay really well !
The ap is really effective once you get the hang of how to use it , everything is in there for you .
I highly recommend it if you don’t want to be tied up to a regular job.

I am working with Stynt for so long , even before pandemic time . After opening the account, you just posts your days available , update your license informations and then you look for jobs . It’s very convenient on your app phone , you get texts with a new job posting all the times, and if you like the hourly payment click on and most of the time you get the job , unless there aren’t other candidates in the same time for the same job . You clock in and out - at the job location from your own cellphone . All the places that I worked , they were very polite , offer PPE all the times, and the payment comes right in your bank account in a few days . Very convenient to choose to work when you are available . Very happy with company. Thank you for all your help !

Best site to match with good work place. Simple, easy, reliable . Many job offers that are posted and updated trough the day.
Excellent notification system allowing to keep track of new offers and reminding about existing schedule! The hourly rate is posted clearly and allows for placing bids if position needs to be filled urgently! Also every week pay check is deposited without any issues!

I have been working for Stynt as a dental assistant for the past 2 years. StyntDentalJobsMarketplace is very easy to use. Any time I have had trouble Stynt has been very prompt in responding and helping me resolve any issues. The benefits are also great. You are able to adjust your hourly pay and also can request sick time through the payroll app. I have really enjoyed working with Stynt and will continue to do so.

Stynt is the perfect outlet for me and my busy lifestyle. It allows me to make my own schedule so I can still be available for my kids.I’ve worked at so many new wonderful offices and met some really great people! I’ve been assisting for 11 years and have been with stynt part time for 7 years ! StyntDentalJobsMarketplace is also great for new DAs trying to find a home . 10/10 love working for this company!

Stynt is overall an excellent company.
The platform is easy. Their office staff is very helpful and professional.
With all the components of traditional style employment but with the added flexibility.
I am at ease knowing that all required employee/ employer taxes are handled every paycheck.

I do believe that they could improve a few options, one is allowing “Countering” ie, office is requesting 8-5pm, if professional is unavailable those hours they could “Counter “ 9-4, for example.
I would like a note section in StyntDentalJobsMarketplace , in the job profile to add things like staff names, for future reference. The sick policy is a tad strict, so don’t be sick. lol
The bonus opportunities do seem very difficult to attain- but I’m trying! I love the we earn PTO too!!
I hope to see many more opportunities in my local area! Definitely worth having this resource available as a Full Time Temporary Worker!!

Ever since I started using Stynt around 2 years ago I never had a problem finding work. I decided to leave my full time job and try out temping for 2-3 days and so far Synt has been my favorite with finding work! Of course you have your slow seasons but I’ve been fortunate enough to keep my weeks full with the days I want to work 😊

Stynt makes it very easy to accept job assignments, the support staff is extremely timely and effective when needed and I love the freedom Stynt offers with my scheduling needs, pay rate, no obligation to work an assignment even if that’s a day you put as available but then you can’t work that day and easy direct deposit for a faster weekly pay.
