St George Area Parade of Homes Reviews

You’d think they’d figure it out by now? Second year in a row my “saved” ticket is gone and the system won’t let me add it back again. Also, why force Apple Maps on us? Just because I’m on an iPhone doesn’t mean I want to use that pile of garbage. Open it up so I can select which navigation program I prefer.

Last year it was so easy and helpful! This year it has given me all kinds of problems and I am just in the planning stages of the homes I want to view.

StGeorgeAreaParadeofHomes blows. I swear I used StGeorgeAreaParadeofHomes last year and I don't remember it being this bad. The map is terrible and you can't tell from looking at the markers which house is which, so you have to go through clicking on each house to figure out which number it is. On top of that there is a glitch in the map that makes it so when you click on the marker, it gives the correct house number but says the house is $500,000... as in, it says EVERY house is $500,000 which obviously isn't right because their profiles give the correct price. The map also jumps around every time you click on a marker which is really annoying and makes it hard to click on markers close together. The last bug I noticed is when you click on a house in the profile section and then click on gallery to view the pictures, when you then hit the back button it should then take you back to the profile, or at least the list of profiles... but no, it takes you to the map for some reason!?? So then you have to click back to the profiles which makes it a pain if you want to look through every single photo gallery. Very rough app.

I would suggest the organizers of this event actually drive the route suggested by StGeorgeAreaParadeofHomes . If they did, they’d find themselves directed to turn AFTER the intended street is passed or instructed to turn on a construction road that has no thoroughfare. StGeorgeAreaParadeofHomes is garbage! You’re better off using the map with the written directions.

StGeorgeAreaParadeofHomes is frustrating but I am glad there is an option for an app, it just needs work.

I want to like StGeorgeAreaParadeofHomes, I really do, but it is lacking. One of the main annoyances is how fuzzy the pictures of the houses are. And StGeorgeAreaParadeofHomes takes more time to load between pages then it is necessary.

This isn't a big one but it's just sort of a mundane template they use. There is another parade of homes app that is slicker and the template is modern design.

Until they fix the fuzzy pictures and modernize the look and speed, to it's potential, StGeorgeAreaParadeofHomes is only mediocre at best

Had a hard time finding home info. App hangs and crashes often. The photos are small and you can't zoom them. Floor plans are impossible to read.

We had a really great time, but the map was really hard to use, especially because we didn’t go in the exact same order of houses that the pamphlet map suggested. We got lost a few times, but that’s part of the journey.
I’d like to see this get better, and I’m sure it will. Thanks for such a good time!

When I saw the addition of the idea book to StGeorgeAreaParadeofHomes . I loaded all the photos of the ideas I wanted to I corporate in our remodel at each house. Now we are home and ready to demo and none of the photos show :( just a square. Is tbe anyway to recover my photos?

Viewed homes should show on the map. When following the map directions to a home sometimes it takes to the wrong neighborhood entrance - for instance Entrada.

When returning to map view it can't remember where you came from so goes to default.

Parade of Homes gets about $500,000 annually from ticket sales and advertising. They can afford to hire a professional to upgrade their App.

It's great there is now an app. I like that I can save a picture in the notes and it's tagged with the home. Before, I used to take pictures with my phone and later I couldn't recall which home I took the photo in.

Also, all the needed info from the magazine for the homes is on StGeorgeAreaParadeofHomes including the map but without all the ads. I hope it saves my notes from year to year.

A great app to have for the parade of homes, you get addresses of where you want to go, pictures and details of each home and you're able to create a travel plan of your favorite homes to see. If you're doing the parade of homes, I highly recommend getting this up.

Worked great for us, only trouble was apple maps not recognizing new roads and tried to take us off-roading a couple times.

StGeorgeAreaParadeofHomes is great! It is so easy to find all the houses using your GPS and my favorite part is all the pics of the houses so you can get a little sampling before you go to that home. This is so much better than the magazines!

I must admit, I am very impressed. I would like to be able to zoom in on the floor plans, but an overall easy to use and wonderful experience.

I love being able to have everything contained in one place. No more ticket around my neck, no more magazine, no more having to carry around a map.

StGeorgeAreaParadeofHomes is great! It is very useful with driving directions and an eticket. You can take photos and add notes for each home. I love the eticket feature. Not having to carry around your ticket and just using your phone is awesome!

The St George Parade of Homes is incredible. StGeorgeAreaParadeofHomes works great to register your ticket and scan in at each home.

Excellent parade app! Changed the parade experience for the better. Very user friendly.
