Awful waste of time

My 2 year old was excited the apps music intrigued her the colors were bright then an ad by the 3rd letter and can’t go past “M” without buying the full app, I understand everyone wants money. The ABCs are not where to make it.

Not worth the download

Why is this even in the free apps if you can’t go past the letter M flash card. It strongly encourages you to purchase but doesn’t give you the option to continue past the M . Don’t download if you don’t want to pay

Terrible

If I could give ColorfulABCEnglishAlphabets zero stars I would. ColorfulABCEnglishAlphabets is super basic to help toddlers learn colors and letters but now I can’t hear the voices anymore that announce the letters and it doesn’t go past letter M without asking for a purchase. Waste of an app.

Bugs and no audio

App worked for a few hours, paid for the ad free version, now no audio, no music, and constantly bugs and then crashes

Wildly inappropriate

It amazes me that there would be an app out there that’s “free” but you need to pay for no ads. Otherwise the apps priority is to bombard you with ads every 3-4 letters or swipes on the screen. So instead of helping teach my child without interruption, I’m forced to be interrupted with random ads. Baffling how people can make an app for kids but make ad revenue a priority over learning.

I purchased this app

I purchased ColorfulABCEnglishAlphabets, and now it’s making me pay for it again and showing apps when I brought it and I wouldn’t do that before. I really dislike the update.

T is for terrible, that is this app!

I wasted my time, don’t waste yours! We got a 10 second ad for insurance after every other letter up to M. Apps requires purchase to continue. I do not buy AD happy apps 👎🏻 I’m certainly not spending $2 for just 26 letter only flash cards. I also have no sound.

Why pay for the alphabet?

You can only get to the letter M before being asked to pay for the whole app. And the pronunciation for most of the letters is crappy anyways, my kid thought the letter J sounded like the word Day. Ridiculous. Would give it zero stars if I could.

Ads make it useless

I get that app developers have to make money, but ColorfulABCEnglishAlphabets is useless because of the ads. A shame, otherwise it would have been great.

HAVE TO PAY TO GET HALF OF ALPHABET

I could only go as far as L and then I had to pay for the rest. When I clicked on the letter expecting some sort of sound (to pronounce to letter), nothing came. Also, it would show short advertisements after clicked on a couple of letters. I was just looking for an app that showed me ALL of the alphabet to help my neice. I had seen some reviews saying the sound didn’t work and the creator just saying to reset and that’s not the case. My phone works perfectly fine, lots of storage left, cleared out my tabs, and I have shut it completely off and on. Nothing helped. I feel like the way they gave us only half of the alphabet to use isn’t very helpful. I understand that I can just use what is provided and just find another app for the rest but that shouldn’t have to be necessary. In MY opinion, there are other apps that so the same thing AND more and I will be choosing those apps. I was very disappointed in the outcome of ColorfulABCEnglishAlphabets and hope that it will be updated in the future to be more efficient.

Unusable

It’s not a bad app at all, but the ads are way too frequent for it to be a useful teaching tool. I understand the devs need money, but every 2-3 letters? My 3 year old gets distracted because the ads are always overly hyped mobile games with exciting action, and they’re always at least 5 seconds. Shame because it was otherwise a really nice, simple way to review the alphabet.

Purchased the app and still the ads appear

I purchased ColorfulABCEnglishAlphabets from inside the free one. Then another screen appeared requiring confirmation of my credit card, which I thought weird because my card is on file with Apple App Store. So I closed ColorfulABCEnglishAlphabets , deleted it from my phone, rebooted the phone and then went to ColorfulABCEnglishAlphabets Store to my Purchased apps list and downloaded/installed it from there.

ColorfulABCEnglishAlphabets is still behaving as the free one did.

Nice, but costs $2 if you want to to go past M

We went once through the Flashcards and hit 4 ads before M. At M it just got stuck asking me to buy it. No thanks. Deleted immediately.

Good but…

When I try to use the game for my nephew, it kept crashing every 6 seconds.

Good for children

App is well made and the cards are good for kids to learn the alphabet. However, I miss that you can choose the sounds letters make. I would also be nice to have examples of words that start with the chosen letter.

Unlock on iPad

I purchased it on my iPhone and it’s somehow not working on my iPad. Do I have to purchase again?

ABC song is too loud

ColorfulABCEnglishAlphabets is just great but the ABC song is too loud. My 3 year old son keeps playing it and insist for a full volume.

My son’s first book of ABC

I don’t know how but it works. When my son was learning to say mama, ColorfulABCEnglishAlphabets taught him few alphabets very easily.

Interesting

I thought what good ColorfulABCEnglishAlphabets could do but showing it to my son for a few times made him interested in it and he’s now trying to speak.

Good education tool

Very easy to use. Highly recommend: )
