Every time i use this horrible app, it constantly logs me out. SchoolLoop also creates a horrible relationship with the student and their parents. I do not recommend this to anybody, ever. Honestly, even google classroom is better than this terrible app. Words can’t even describe how stressed out I feel while using this. Everything about SchoolLoop is so plain and boring that it makes my head hurt just thinking about it. Please, please, please never use SchoolLoop unless you want to get constant migraines, never talk to your parents again, and a lifetime of therapy.

Scholloop remains one of the worst experiences I have had with any app user interface ever. Nothing ever loads the way it’s supposed to, SchoolLoop constantly logs you out for no reason, the emailing system utilizes ancient integration, the list goes on! This is just from the student end of things, I cannot imagine the abundance of issues that educators have to go through with the constant server failures that make their rounds through school grade books. Although I am writing this as a student, I have gathered the opinions of many educators as well. There is an overwhelming consensus that the responsiveness and tentativeness to care on SchoolLoop remains absolutely dreadful and unacceptable. Cannot wait until my school adopts a new way to monitor grades, If I could rate it any lower I would.

Don’t waste your time with such an undeveloped app. SchoolLoop does not fit on an iPhone Xs Max screen as the bottom bar cuts off the screen. The scrolling on SchoolLoop is terrible as it stutters as you scroll making everything unreadable. The notifications reappear multiple times even if you already cleared them. SchoolLoop is laggy and logs me out many times. Also. The user interface is absolutely terrible. The loading screen when you click on SchoolLoop is not to scale and cuts off the screen. Also, SchoolLoop lacks a dark mode like many other apps. I can’t believe schools agree to use this poor app.

As a high school student this is a convenient app to remind me for my work, but also stressful. It allows my parents to see my grades which stresses me out when they are not good, and allows teachers to send home emails regarding grades. Also, it does not allow you to turn in assignments like the way the computer does through a dropbox. Finally it logs me out a lot. But other then that, it’s alright. Can’t complain much more because they can’t change anything about seeing grades, well, at least on the phone we can’t, because that’s the whole point of SchoolLoop .

SchoolLoop is riddled with obvious bugs. One must wonder if there is even a QA department for this software.

The current worst bug is that the Reply All function simply does not work. It limits itself to Reply. 100% repeatable and obvious.

Then there is the issue that messages don’t get updated nor are there notifications.

Don’t even get me started about the inability to use any formatting or lack of space to write messages. And then let’s not forget that it won’t even populate my student’s name/address.

Lastly, and there are certainly more ridiculous bugs, when SchoolLoop gets an update, it blows out saved credentials. Every other iOS app developer has figured out how to proper update its app and creds, but the geniuses developing SchoolLoop seem to have been dropped as babies. You really should be ashamed of yourselves.

I like how it shows the assignments due, however the layout and tabs, the small details need to be something else. It is to plain! The loopmail doesn’t work half the time. I just want a new version of SchoolLoop. New layout and theme just like the other app “grades” . Unfortunately I cannot use that app so I’m stuck with this one. All I ask is for a new theme/layout.

Although SchoolLoop is helpful in just checking in your grades, it doesn’t help with much else. You can email a teacher but can’t attach any work or files, constantly makes you re-enter your login information, absolutely no access to your locker, screen is partly cut off on newer iPhones, these all seem like necessities when using School Loop but I guess not to the developers.

It’s amazing that in the 4 years i’ve had this for school i can’t recall a single change they’ve made to SchoolLoop . There’s still no locker feature, my emails keep saying theyre unread even though ive opened them multiple times, and it logs me out every time i use it. however it is convenient to check grades quickly so ill give them that.

I give it 3 stars because I like how to app lets me know what homework I have but I hate that I have to keep logging back in every time i check what I need to do for homework. It’s annoying and it’s been happening for a long time now I deleted it and got it back again to see if it didn’t log me out but it still does it and I hope you guys can fix it

It constantly logs me out.
Every single time it logs me out I have to re add all my kids! 4 of them. It doesn’t remember any of the information. Even though it’s the same phone number and phone and fingerprint.
I 😡 SchoolLoop except when it actually does work. When it works it’s fine and it’s easy to use. But going through the hassle of adding every single child every time is not worth it. I have to use it for my kids district but I will be asking them to change to a different app unless everything can be changed. This was all before covid-19.

Would really love to see SchoolLoop updated to rival the full website by allowing teachers to have access to their grade book, student info, courses, assignments, etc. As a teacher, SchoolLoop is only good for doing ONE thing: messages. If anything else needs to be done (as a teacher) you have to go to the actual website. Can you please create a School Loop app specifically dedicated to teachers please? Or update the current app to give teachers more options?? 🙏🏼 With our jobs now being completely digital, we need easily accessible options!

SchoolLoop is so helpful, but it would more helpful... Whenever I need to see something that my teacher puts in the locker I have to do it through safari and log into school loop(online version). If you could go into the course locker from SchoolLoop . It would save time for the students that use SchoolLoop. My teachers put everything in the locker and this feature would make SchoolLoop perfect.

SchoolLoop is very good for just checking assignments, grades, mail, etc. If I need the features the website offers, I go there. It is great as mobile version (which it is what it's meant to be; bad reviewers are looking for a full version of School Loop). I look forward to new updates.

Do not get me wrong, I love SchoolLoop and I am so glad that even middle schools introduce it. I constantly use it to see what I need to do to keep my grades in the As. However I would rate 5 stars if it weren’t for the following problems...

1. I was looking through my LoopMail last night and I couldn’t read all of it because whenever I try to scroll to the side, it just swipes to the News section. Can this be fixed please?

2. I remember this one time where I saw an assignment in the Assignments section, but nowhere else, not even the Calendar section. We all know that the Calendar section consists of practically everything that you can find anywhere else, with a wider extension of dates than the Assignments section. But weirdly, one of my assignments was in the Assignments section but not in the Calendar section. This needs to be fixed. Doesn’t happen to often, and doesn’t affect us too much, but it’s just enough said.

That’s basically it though, and overall SchoolLoop is really good. I swear, writing this made it feel like I was doing one of those multiparagraph essays in English class.

It used to always log me out, but the bug must have been fixed so it is not an issue anymore. I like school loop because I can contact kids throughout the school without their actual email. I can also ask my teachers about anything using loopmail. The homework is always posted on the same spot no matter the class. I have eight classes and it also accommodates that. School loop is very simple and easy for me as a student to use. I used to struggle with seeing old assignments but I learned if you click on the day in the calendar page it works simply. Also, the news is really useful because I can see any school wide activities. Sometimes it is annoying when the teacher does not post the homework, but there is nothing school loop can do about that. Overall it is a good app, especially since they fixed the the log in glitch.

SchoolLoop is very useful for checking my grades and assignments. I have no problems with using SchoolLoop, the only downside is that you have to log in a lot. Otherwise, it is extremely useful and gives you accurate information.

It’s easy to check your grades and progress in school without having to stress about your test. You can check what homework you have for that night which makes it easy. I’m a student and I use SchoolLoop and it’s so useful!

SchoolLoop is especially useful for giving me anxiety. but it makes me log back in every time. i want to be able to check my grades without having to log in every time. because then I can disappoint myself more often. i check, hoping that my grades change, but it never does

Every time I log out it doesn’t log me out. So know I don’t have to go to safari. I recommend you to check your grades. You can even see NEWS that are gonna happen. Instead of teachers giving you of what’s next. This tells me right now that the end of the year is coming. And says what the whole SCHOOL is planning to do.

I am a parent. I used this website for both my sons while they were in middle school and I loved it. I’m so upset that now, I have to go to two different websites and six different things to do everything now that they’re in high school. I only wish that their high school would think about using something as simple as school loop. I love the fact that with one click you can find out anything about your teachers about your student your students can see an email to teachers you can send emails they teachers everything is right there. Don’t have to strain your eyes either which is nice very nice.
