Honor Bound TCG CCG Card Quest Reviews

This is one of my favorite card collector games and I've played it when it first came out as a kid, and I recently returned back to it. I want to play it for a long time, but it's so frustrating to see that every other purchase I make keeps getting glitched. It would always say that I "lost connection" to the server, and then it would restart my game with none of the stuff I purchased. This has happened 4 times. $50 down the drain, which is sad to even say.

Please fix this problem! I'm a paying customer and I think it's unfair for this problem to keep occurring on a game like this. It makes it seem like we're being cheated out of our money. I've had request a refund from Apple 4 times in one week, and it's making me look really suspicious despite this actually happening. They might think I'm trying to cheat HonorBoundTCGCCGCardQuest Store out of money, which I'm not. I've even emailed the JuiceBoxGames company email themselves and I haven't gotten a reply back.

This is completely ridiculous. I don't know if this company even still works for the game anymore, but it has so much potential to stay in the current market as a card collector gacha-esque game if they would fix their issues and bugs. Hope they fix this really soon, and hope Apple actually gives me my money back 😭

A lot of bugs in the game and the creator never fixed any of this especially the account bugs. I had an event bug that wouldn't let me rotate out the event and I tried logging out and log back in, and guess what? When I tried to log back in the game asked me to choose a commander. I lost everything all my hardwork and the time I have spent in this game with my friends and this not just makes me frustrated but extremely sad too. I can't find solutions anywhere online and their emails are just automated into a forum that doesn't even exist anymore. This message probably wont even be looked at or reviewed or even taken consideration or anything because even though the community is still alive the developers are dead. Goodbye Honorbound

I've been looking everywhere for this game. I had this game on my original Fire HD and it was my favorite mobile game. Now this game has become a shell of its former self. I don't like the new title screen but that was a minor issue when compared to me finally loading up the game and finding that the prologue cutscene was unreadable because the aspect ratio has not been formatted for iPhone XR. I ignored this because my love for the game was so great but it didn't take long for this to become a major problem. When I reached the castle for the first time and tried to do research for Leadership I, the option to do so is completely clipped out of the screen. Without leadership research you're unable to create a squad at all and thus one of the best features of the game is completely broken. I tried to continue playing the game but playing with only the commander makes the game unfairly difficult and broadly uninteresting. Please just correct the aspect ratio and this leadership glitch so that I can play this excellent game again.

To buy higher level heroes, must pay at least $25 for one hero. Also, can't compete in the events w. People pay to refresh their energy, meaning you must pay to compete, not necessarily win. I paid $300 to compete in an event by buying heroes and levels for them. Paid another $70 just to refresh my energy every time. I could not break the top 100 for the best prizes, and if I did, the instant I stopped paying for energy reloads, I dropped out of the rankings.

Super expensive. After the the first 2 mini campaigns, only able to complete half a level on your energy. One refill =$1.

Great game. Pay to win/pay to play energy takes advantage of players.

The game is a basic "polite wait your turn" RPG like Final Fantasy, but is a bit worse.
The biggest flaws I see (having leveled the main character to level 10) is the "energy meter" which depletes itself walking from battle to battle. That is just irritating nonsense which delays gameplay.
The second biggest flaw is the RESEARCH part of the game where I have researched Leadership 3 and now have to wait 24 hours per standard lame iPhone game "clock hostage" design flaws in too many games these days.
The character designs are okay. The gameplay, when not crippled by countdown timer nonsense, is acceptable.
That said, I am deleting this game after this review because of those two flaws along being too high an irritant factor.

I just started the game, and I really love it so far. But there’s a MAJOR issue. Once I get out of the tutorial dungeon at the very beginning and first get to my castle, it sends me to research. It acts like there should be a tech that I should research, but nothing shows up. Because of this, I can’t even add people to my squad because it tells me I need to complete “Leadership research”, but there aren’t any researches showing up to complete. The only two things that show up when I tap on the scholars for research are one tab labeled “Alchemy” and another labeled “Summoning”. Nothing happens when I click either tab, and once they come up, I can’t exit out of them. I have to close and reopen the game just to get out of those tabs. Please fix this. I have no doubt this would be a five star game for me if this were fixed and I could play properly. Y’all honestly have a phenomenal game here.

I initially gave this game 5 stars. I really enjoyed this new and fresh game when I began. I've read some other reviews and can agree with a few bugs, the energy system, etc. I even got lucky enough to catch a couple legendaries, which definitely kept me in longer. But, I've played plenty similar games seriously in my iOS career - and my biggest annoyance is the events. They are dreadfully long (14 days in a few cases), simple, and plain boring. Playing the regular story line is cool for so long, but other games like this promote a few day events that keep the player entertained. I've played for around 3 months and I can say I have literally taken nothing away from any event. Rewards, fun, nothing. If they polish that up, get creative, and drop the 'high levels have advantages' / 'pay so much to win this meh reward' I'll be back. Hiatus till then.

This game is one of my favorite mobile games, I’ve been playing it for a long time, and I just recently redownloaded it on my iPhone 11, and due to the nature of the 11’s display, the game does not fit this display. Many things are literally inaccessible, such as certain options in the research menu. I doubt this will ever be fixed either because it doesn’t seem like the devs actively support this game anymore, it hasn’t been updated in a year. I really wish I could get back into this game but I guess I can’t because of this major issue.

This game is amazing, it’s entertaining, the gameplay is really fun and hits you with some of the greatest character design I’ve ever seen but there’s a bug that I think is effecting more than just me. In the research station when you click on the weird cyclops and the menu shows up it’s completely empty which means you can’t get ANY upgrades. Most annoyingly are the ones that you need to progress in the game and obviously adding slots to the hero roster, meaning that for the rest of the small duration you can progress without upgrading, you’ll have to do it with only one character. Please fix these, I know the game is old but it’s truly a cult classic for me.

This has to be by far the most entertaining RPG/MMO I've played yet. I'm only in the very beginning of it and I am having so much fun, compared to others that would die off really quickly and become repetitive. The game has no pay walls or micro transactions unless you want a very quick boost course it is not that hard to level up your characters, progress in the game or anything really. The only thing I do not like is when you're moving in a level from battle to battle it cost energy I was just at the end of a boss battle before I reviewed this and I had no energy to finish so I have to wait 10 minutes plus before I can move and finish it. Other than that I have no real complaints, I haven't run into to any of the bugs and crashes that other people are saying that they encountered. I definitely recommend for people to try this. It is a fun experience there's no real grind to it. You have my approval Devs 👍

I really like it, I originally had it on my old KindleFire and it ran pretty well on there. When I saw it here in the AppStore, I downloaded it and was not disappointed. The only bad thing I can say is there are small bugs, one I encountered was my first time getting quests from the tavern. I was stuck and had to close down HonorBoundTCGCCGCardQuest and reopen to get it to work. Other than that, it's cool as more than just something to take your time on the bus or something like that. I actually play it when I'm in my house, rather than watch tv.

First off, this game is phenomenal. Great character designs, good overall pacing and flow, a decent story, and very very fun gameplay. I play all the time now. It changes as you play more, from an individual game to a very guild-oriented competitive multiplayer game, but retains the most of the initial draw in addition to the more advanced content. The devs do a good job of continuously having regular events that keep it interesting, however, i will say that the variety of different events sometimes feels a little lacking. The player base, for me, is fantastic and is what really drives the game. Veteran players are helpful and fun. This is a great game, so do not miss out.

For those who don’t know there was a game breaking glitch where you couldn’t do research which was part of the tutorial so you could never fully play the game, there was a way to by pass the tutorial and just level up your starter but then you get to the max level which you would raise by doing research, so no
Matter what you were stuck, but they recently fixed this glitch and now I can enjoy this nostalgic masterpiece again and new players can enjoy it

THIS IS THE BEST GAME I’VE EVER PLAYED! Personally I LOVE RPG’s and this game just raised the bar. The only thing is... the friend thing is broken. I have 3 friends and it doesn’t let me claim the referral thing. Another problem is my guilds don’t work. I click the button and it says I lost connection. Anyway back to the game. I love the feature where you can sell hero’s for coins. I also love the detail of the characters, the animation is amazing. Anyone who likes awesome action packed RPG’s this is the game for you. Even if you don’t like RPG’s I think you will love this game. PLEASE respond developers and fix friends and guilds.

I played this for 3 years now and my team is getting better and better I never played a better game. And the design,storyline, and characters are the best! Although my bro started playing, and said he wished that trading was in the game I wished of that too so I can give some of my support. So here are some rules that I want to add for the trading
-if someone puts something into trade you have to too you can’t just give them nothing
-the equipment that are equipped to the character are taken out and given back to the owner

I used to have this game on an old device and LOOOOOVED it. It was my favorite game. Then I got a new IPhone X and after a while I realized this game was still in HonorBoundTCGCCGCardQuest Store and I was SUUUUPER happy. Then I went to play it and because of the size of my phone wasn’t compatible with the games screen size I was unable to get leadership one because it was off the screen. I can’t make any progress because everything needs leadership 1. Please fix this so I can finally get back to playing one of the best games ever!!!

This game kind of caught me off guard. A little cartoony for me was my initial impression, but man am I glad I have it a chance because it is deceptively deep. And most importantly fun. I came to this game because the worst game company ever Gree shut down my last game Legends at War by surprise with no warning while still stealing money from people. I came to this cause it had similar aspects. But the company and the game seem to be a thousand fold better than what I came from. Keep it up guys and give the game a chance if you're curious.

Main dissuader is the use of energy , and having to wait for it to refill. Listen game devs, if we enjoy the game we are going to play it as much as possible and you knowing that choose to have people waste an shameful amount of time not even playing your game but staring at it. I mean the whole concept of daily rewards and achievements already has people coming back so why all the bs energy? Tbh it's kind of a mood killer and I pretty sure all feel the same.

Wow! HonorBound is the best game ever! I love the new events that come out so soon. Awesome! You can collect so many mythics (best troop teir). You do not have to spend a cent and you can be at the top of the leaderboard in an event! If you can grind, you can get any troop you want. Also, if you don't have a ton of time, you can still be very good. Even get an all mythic squad! 11/10 game! 6 Stars! Download if you want the best game of your life! Also, a huge shoutout to Kings Head Games for taking over HonorBound and providing what JuiceBox couldn't deliver.

This is the best game I have ever downloaded in HonorBoundTCGCCGCardQuest Store ever since I got my iPhone (I have had my iPhone 2 years now and still it is the best) I love this game. At first I didn't even think it was that fun or cool till I saw that my friend was a really high level (compared to what I was) and he had a decked out squad. It made it wanna he to where he was so I would be that good. After playing the game a few hours I fell in love with it and I don't even like RPGs!! I would recommend this game to anyone even non- rpg players!!
