I love the Mexican Train tile game, but only got to play it at holidays when visiting the fam. This game ends my MT sadness and is the best version I’ve found. They recently upgraded the game and I LOVE it now. Everything the old one was missing has been fixed or added and it’s just about perfect! I love that I can play both the way the traditional tile game is played (laying down your whole train on your first turn), as well as the “one tile at a time” way I played in the old version. AND you have option to pass and play with other people or just one person, which is almost as good as the real game.

If you enjoy playing the tile game, then get OrientExpressDominoes. I play it almost every day! Five stars for all their hard work to make this game sing. Good job, y’all! ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫⭐️

I have played your game for a couple of years. Even though I like your game, I probably won’t continue to use it due to the 35 second advertisements between rounds. I don’t mind advertising; but really ! Every round. That’s too much. I would rather see advertising at the bottom of the screen during game play. The ads still get my attention without being so frustrating. At least limit the ad time to one or two intervals per game.
I decided to try your game again. Now you have some advertisers that hold you hostage. The advertiser freezes and you can’t exit. The latest one was woody wordpress(?) even though an x was present on the screen every time you hit the x it took you to OrientExpressDominoes Store. You have constant advertisements on your screen during play. I always consider those. BUT! To hold me hostage!?!
I can not afford to pay for your app.

Love the game, love seeing the entire scoreboard, love that the draw and pass indicators are easily seen, love the theme of the Orient Express, but... wish there was a bigger distinction between the colors, especially the eights and nines. Perhaps switch the nines with the ones so the eights and nines don’t look so similar in color and also similarly having lots of dots. In fact, ALL similar dot numbers would be better with high contrast in color to avoid any confusion. Remember, not everyone has the same visual capabilities and the lack of contrast makes it difficult for my elderly mother to distinguish and enjoy the game. Seems like an easy change to allow everyone to be able to enjoy and play without the disadvantage of creating extra challenges for some.

Not content to leave things well enough alone after demolishing their Mexican Train app, months later the devs decided to make a hideous visual mess out of this one too. You’d think they would have listened to the dozens of negative reviews they got last time, but nope, they’ve gone and duplicated every bad graphic feature from that game to this one. Both apps went from elegant and visually pleasing to obnoxious, with poor UI choices made across the board. Fonts are harder to read, colors are garish, dominoes are no longer realistic, background graphics are ugly and too bright. Never buying another app from this company, they’ve proven untrustworthy with bad updates that make their games unplayable.

This has been my favorite computer game for at least a year, but now there is some kind of bug which makes it freeze up and go so slowly that I’ve lost interest in playing. I’ve tried to delete it several times and reinstall it, hoping that would fix the problem, but because it’s in the cloud it keeps giving me back the exact same game with you exact same problem. Unless you can tell me how to fix this, I’m going to continue playing the new Mexican train dominoes app that I downloaded and don’t like nearly as much as yours. But I don’t know how to remove it from the cloud and start over!

Fabulous game! Great graphics. Easy to figure out. Mexican trains is one of my absolute favorites!! But it is still a 4-star because the game contains no stats. I wanna know how many games I've played, how many I have won, how many points on average I take per game and per round. If all these stats and if it was not $2.99 to get rid go without ads, this game would totally be a 5-star!!!

This is OrientExpressDominoes for anyone wanting to play Mexican Train. Getting to line up your strategy and choose which domino to play makes OrientExpressDominoes like playing with real dominoes.

Edit from May 9. I had such a nice winning streak..for weeks weeks, with a few losses. I'm good at this game. Now I lose in a big way--every time I play. I think perhaps OrientExpressDominoes is written that way. I'll download again and see what happens. Or maybe it's because I choose to use the free version.

I just got a new iPad and my games, apps and purchases were reinstalled. How bummed I was to see right off the bat, that the graphics have changed. They are very similar, but have lost that warm vintage look for a new slick look. I’m really bummed out about that. I wish there was a way to install the older version. There was nothing wrong with it and I had it for years. I play this game (sad I know) an hour each day for relaxation. But I’m not so sure anymore. I perhaps I will adapt. Ugh. The sounds are different too. It’s lost that familiar feeling.

Loved the game before the update. The new glitzier look and feel detract from the lovely, warm, Art Deco Orient Express feeling the game used to have. I could handle that, but the new scoring method is atrocious! Give me back the option to play like I did for years. Play the round, count up the pips left for each player, display them, and move to the next round. Person with the lowest cumulative score at the end of the final round wins. This is unnecessarily complicated. What was a 5 star app for years is now 2 stars at best. Classics are classics because they can’t be improved upon. Shame on you for assuming classic meant dull.

I had been a big fan of their earlier game, but like the classier interface of this one much better. Gameplay is snappy and challenging. I look on paying for an app as a way to show the developers that they did a good job. It costs more than $2.99 for a cup of coffee. That's a minor cost for a game so well done.

Fun but crashes on iPhone 6 iOS 8. Will restart after forcing close. Needs a hint button for us newbies. Says there is a play but I don't always see where. Update: no longer crashes with updates to iOS 9. No ads during game play only between end of games. Tolerable. If during or between rounds would have deleted. I play it often.

I used to love the game but; with the new update, there is no chance of winning. Ever. Before the update, you could win if you knew how to play. Now, the “middle” player ALWAYS wins. I thought it was just me, but I asked someone else who plays this game and he found the same thing I did. He has deleted the game in favor of finding one that was not rigged for the game to always get every tile needed. Hoping the game goes back to being a true random draw of the tiles.

The background of the updated game is distracting. I would like a plain background option. Otherwise the game is fun, but I also prefer playing six rounds. So you’ve upgraded the game, took away options for the free version and want us to pay to get what we used to have. May be time to change aps.

This is the best available online Mexican Train! However, several times when the computer opponent passes they are not drawing the extra domino; therefore, the computer opponent is winning when they should be in 3rd place. Nevertheless, I love playing this daily and have shared with friends.

I enjoy playing this game, however, I do get frustrated when I can’t find something. I would like to change my background it am having trouble finding the choices so I can change the background.

It seems that the player in the third slot wins much more than players 1&2. I play hardest and win often but place three will get on a roll and win several consecutive games.

I have been playing this game for years. I like the new graphics and the new colors etc. I realize some people want the same old thing but some of us find it refreshing to have a change. Best game I ever got!

For some reason, Glowing Eye has decided to begin showing ads on their games portraying what some would perceive as immoral relationships. These ads are geared towards young minds, and I strongly resent this blatant attempt at indoctrinating young minds in this manner. I am removing every Glowing Eye game from my devices and will not download any more of their products. If you have kids that are using these games, you may want to check out the ads they are being exposed to.

Love to play this but am frustrated with the lack of game options. Mexican train game is known for the variety of play. Such as: train becomes open if player played on any train but their own, or only if not on their own or Mexican train, don’t have to draw when their train is blocked, …

I'm definitely addicted to this game. Love playing with real dominoes w family and friends. The but is this...with real dominoes, you can play multiple times off of the doubles and you cannot with this. Not sure how it could work on screen, but would be better if you could. And I'll always pay for no ads!
