iDisciple is great for several reasons, there are a ton of amazing devotionals and growth plans written be professional authors and leaders in the church. There are several downfalls however that can ruin iDisciple for some people. First off the fact that they lock you into a daily limit and try to force you to buy into their membership is very disappointing. I understand the reasoning but for a Christian app I should not feel forced to pay a monthly fee for something other Christian apps offer for free. Another downfall is that many of the devotionals and growth plans are based on one specific Lutheran faith and don’t include anything from the other Christian faiths.

I downloaded iDisciple to get back into Bible Study. iDisciple looked great when I started setup. I went through the entire setup, only to find out I can’t access ANYTHING without paying for a monthly subscription. I feel like this was a bait and switch. The subscription requirement should be listed in the beginning. I’ve, also, now read multiple reviews claiming to be charged after cancelling the subscription and being unable to contact customer service to stop it. This is definitely not the way to run a Christian business. I’m sure iDisciple has a lot of great features, but I’m not paying $5/month to access content that can be found for free online. I have been using iDisciple for a couple of years and have really enjoyed it until today when the new version (that’s been hyped and promoted as being wonderful) was revealed! The screen is confusing, I accidentally hit a tab I didn’t want while scrolling through to find the ones I follow so I was not able to read all the ones I normally do. I’m not paying a monthly fee for an upgrade because frankly, I can’t afford to do so! If I can find another way to get devotions from my favorites; I will be deleting iDisciple from my phone!

I was really excited about trying out iDisciple but as soon as I logged in for the first time I couldn’t access anything. When I clicked on anything it went right to a blue page that said Error 403. There is no access to anything or anyone. If this happens to get fixed I would definitely like to try it out again because it seems like there is a lot of good content on there.

There is so much possibility with iDisciple but it mostly feels like an opportunity for them to make money. After choosing all of my interests they put content in my “daily feed” that 75% of it is not accessible without an expensive upgrade. The frustrating part is that they don’t tell you that it’s not accessible until you click on it and wait for it to load, so I spend my time opening and closing choices just to be told over and over that it’s not available without an upgrade. It is a waste of my time.

Most other links do not populate??? I would do the daily verse every night then share with my daughters but now it won’t come up when I click it? If it doesn’t get fixed soon I’ll have to give up on the site?😩

I loved listening to the sermons and teachings. I decided to subscribe and pay the monthly fee to be able to read or listen to more than the limit of 3 per day. However, once I subscribed, it now shuts off half way through listening to a teaching, or shuts off 3-5 minutes before the end. UHG!!!! I then have to go in search of it again and replay the whole thing and hope I can hear the ending. Contemplating unsubscribing, but there were such good teachers on it to choose from.

I love having multiple ministries available from one resource. I’ve used iDisciple for many years. Knowing that proceeds go to charity is also a bonus. I appreciate the improvements made to app over past year.
My request is that developer address issue of screen freezing when left open. I have to delete iDisciple and reload to clear screen. This has happened multiple times over last couple of weeks/months. Thank you! L. Williams

I can’t access the songs or movie, running on an iPad.

I have been a subscriber for a while and thoroughly enjoy the readings. The main settings are great for the different moods, trials, and joys I go through. When my wife passed, iDisciple brought me solace, peace and joy. Thank you ever so much. You folks be Blessed, as you bless so many others.

I use his app almost everyday, I love the ‘top sermons’ channel on the radio! For the last few weeks it turns off on its own though, please fix whatever glitch is shutting off the radio, I had the same issue on the website. I have not run into this issue on any of the content providers sections though.

I am very grateful for the Godly and creative ways Elevation Church is reaching our world through Christ our Lord. While traditional types murmur over using the latest technology , the Holy Spirit uses Elevation to make it clear that
“All things work together for the good” …
Apps like all tools are amoral. Motivation and Intention using the tool is what God judges.
Jesus is pleased that a present generation is receiving His Love through an app like this.
Never let “ the traditions of man make the Word of God to no effect “ … THANK YOU for this discipling app …. Praise Him !!! 👍🙏💯

This website helps to inspire and encourage me to live and walk with Jesus in the word daily. It’s how I start my day. I found iDisciple accidentally and it has been my saving grace. I love that not only is it free but you can save your content and create your own library. It’s been helpful to send and share this information with others through text & email. It has something for everyone and you can tailor it yo your own personal needs. Ps- you can upgrade for a monthly / yearly fee. Worth your time check it out. You will be delighted 😊😊

Confession: I’m constantly getting pulled in 100 different directions and don’t always prioritize my time/bandwidth like I want. I don’t spend enough time in Bible Study and it’s due, in small part, to the accessibility of solid content.

this app provides amazing content via a user-friendly platform that helps a bandwidth-challenged person, like myself.

I never review apps. I don’t have the time. (See what I mean?) But I have grown spiritually this year in a way that I can trace back directly to iDisciple. That’s the highest compliment I can give it.

I use this everyday. It has really helped me in my daily studies. Everyday there is something that really speaks to me and stays with me throughout the day. iDisciple is great for people who want to spend time with God and study but don’t know where to start. iDisciple makes it so easy and you customize it to your preferences. I’m so glad I found iDisciple.

iDisciple is absolutely incredible. I wake up every morning eagerly anticipating my daily sermons, songs, and messages. The premium membership is worth every penny. I've only had it for a month and it has helped to guide me through so many of life's turns and bumps. Thank you, this app for drawing me closer to the Lord and bringing long awaited peace to my life.

It’s like taking many writings of God and putting them into one book😊 To be able to access the teaching of the Holy Spirit through our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ all in one place is invaluable. Thank you for a job well done in forming a beautiful and inspired ‘book’ to study and read.

This is, hands down, the best devotional app out there as far as I’m concerned. The free version is wonderful, but the subscription is worth every penny and then some. I highly recommend spending that extra little bit a month (or year) if you can swing it as it pays off in so many ways. I can’t tell you all the times God provided answers, direction, comfort and relief because what I needed was right there at my fingertips on iDisciple. Plus all that glorious music!

Do yourself a favor that has immediate and eternal payoffs: get this app now!

I just love getting my daily word every morning from this site I’m so glad Pastor Steven Furtick introduced me to Idiciples, every morning before I start to work I have to read the daily scriptures for the day, thank you for this lovely site. God Bless🙏🏽

iDisciple has helped me a lot in the last couple weeks since I installed it on my phone. I’m going through a difficult time right now & the devotionals have been a tremendous help. Thank you.

I had to delete iDisciple . I have a couple of other devo apps on my phone, and was happy with the daily limit, however, after a couple days it would not let me access anything. I just got home and sat down to check out todays content and even though I haven’t logged in all day, it said I’ve reached my daily limit. A daily limit of zero, I guess? It wanted me to upgrade in order to access content, the 3 devo limit went out the window after 48 hours. It’s an awesome app, though! I’m a college student. It’s just not feasible to do a subscription when there are so many great free options available.
