I love this game. I haven't found that it "cheats" you in any way - you just have to know when to purchase a level (when you have enough points/coins. Do this when you have enough & then build them back up, repeat. Some are obvious, some require some thinking, others do require help or force you to use coins but it's all in the strategy.

I really, really enjoyed this game! It was challenging and clever, making it irresistible. I never played with the sound on so I never had an issue with that aspect of the game, but I do take issue with the coin/point system. It makes no sense for a player to be awarded coins for completing a level if they eventually run out before the end of the game! Why play for coins at all? It is misleading and duplicitous. I would love to grant a higher rating but this aspect of the design is a real disappointment.

I liked this game a lot. Some of the puzzles were challenging, many were easy. I dislike that to unlock later levels you cannot win enough coins via game play and must purchase more. I'd happily play all the way through it, but not if I have to make an in-app purchase to do it. Especially since it already displays an ad at startup.

The game itself is a lot of fun and challenging. Only thing is when you finish a pack you cannot go back and look at the puzzles you completed. I have completed all packs and am waiting for more to work on. Let me go back and see the puzzle I have finished and I will change rating to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I like the game but I'm not all that far into the levels because the sound effects are really unpleasant and takes away from the game.

I really hope they change the sound effects so I can continue playing

I really enjoy the game. HATE the sound effects, so that was turned off. Don't like that you have to keep making purchases to move up in levels. So I'm done playing. Might as well delete.

I loved the game until I realized that you have to pay in order to keep playing. What's the point of earning points when those points aren't enough to keep the game going? I get that the creators want to make money but there are better ways like advertising.

I really enjoyed this game, until I couldn't continue because I didn't have enough coins to unlock the next set. I will not buy coins. I would be willing to watch ads and earn coins, but I'm not paying money to continue in this game.

The game itself is fun, but it's impossible to get enough coins to unlock all the levels without an in-app purchase of more coins.

It's a fun game but eventually requires you to buy more when you come to the end of the free stuff. It took me about three hours of playing to reach the end. Now it's deleted as I don't do in app purchases. Well, that was three hours of amusement. Moving on....

They give you 19 levels. But don't provide you enough coins to play them all. I understand this is the free version, then only allow us so many levels to see. Dumb way to sell a game.

Very glad I found this game. Fun and mentally challenging.

I liked the game. I hated the fact that, even if you mute the iPad, the sounds--loud, obnoxious sounds--go right on. You can't even turn them down much less mute them. I'll delete HollowWords until this is fixed.

Love the game. Most obnoxious game sounds ever! Couldn't turn them off fast enough!

Fun game. I wish I could go back and open old levels.
