Over a year and BrowardCountyPublicSchools still very clunky and makes it very difficult to navigate thru for parents... I find myself using specific websites that should be integrated but are not... seriously could use some testers to point out the flaws and a team to address and correct them.

Ok as a technical end user professional that has been involved with numerous AGILE development process for work with a primary goal of functional and easier user experiences. It does not appear that during development that parents were involved to provide user stories.

I find this nothing more than an app with links to other websites. These websites need to be logged into all separately. Once your log into BrowardCountyPublicSchools all other sub apps or links to other websites should already sign you in as a single sign on! When viewing something like the gradebook then we should be able to select the student we wish to view. (Assuming we have more than one student)!

I really don't see the value to the user if they have a site in there favorites... I am disappointed in BrowardCountyPublicSchools and can only hope that it didn't cost the tax payers much. It is in serious need for improvements and upgrades.

Any app that cannot retain user id’s or passwords is useless. It signs me out and won’t let me sign back in. I’ve had to reset it several times by calling the school. I needed to go in and check something now but unfortunately we’re in the summertime and I can do nothing. So the most I will give it is one star. Hopefully they’ll hire some new IT people and get this working properly.

Addendum: you would think that after all these years they would’ve fixed BrowardCountyPublicSchools. No. It’s just as worthless as ever. It never recognizes the password if it’s signed you out. Then when you try to reset a password it doesn’t let you. This is so typical of government apps and anything done by the government. They hire the cheapest IT people who turn out to be morons.

BrowardCountyPublicSchools is completely inefficient to parents who want to review their child’s academic & cafeteria information. On the Broward County Public School website it encourages parents to download and use BrowardCountyPublicSchools promising the ability to access student academic and cafeteria information, but that is not the case. Even after weeks of several emails to and from Broward County Public Schools IT department I am still unable to see any academic and correct cafeteria information for my children. If you want to receive a lot of messages about what the county is doing, then it’s the best app for you. However, if you want to use BrowardCountyPublicSchools as a parent to monitor your children’s academics and balances then this is app is completely ineffective and will not meet your needs.

COMPLETELY USELESS! The fact that this is a representation of our school board, and the individuals who are responsible for our children’s education is extremely disturbing. With all of the technical advances today, there is absolutely no excuse for the joke that this is. I have even compared this to other school board applications; such as Palm Beach County. If PBC has the capability of obtaining a “FUNCTIONING” tool, that is ALSO user friendly for their families why does it seem to be so out of reach for BCPS??? Yes, this is only a phone application. However, I feel that the problem lies much deeper. The lack of capacity to provide a basic phone app for parents, while also boasting how “WONDERFUL” it is, speaks volumes with respect to our school board and the Broward School administration as a unit.

I had to contact my son’s teacher because it’s the end of the quarter and it shows he has a C. She showed me her grade book and he has an A. It has been a week since that exchange and BrowardCountyPublicSchools still hasn’t updated his grade. I hate to bother teachers when there really isn’t a problem, just this ridiculous inefficient app is the problem. And what if there really was a problem and I didn’t know because BrowardCountyPublicSchools showed me he had an A but really his grade really dropped to a C. How can parents stay properly informed if the district continues to put out false information and then they pat themselves on their backs. Way to go BCPS!

Not the most user friendly and not the most up to date on summer school calendar days. Thought there was school one Friday come to find out nobody is at the school, very embarrassing and unfortunate but technology isn’t perfect of course. It would help to make it more user friendly because even in my 20’s and tech savvy but BrowardCountyPublicSchools needs some tweaking.

Last school year, BrowardCountyPublicSchools was working great. However, this year it keeps logging me out. When I go to log back in, it tells me my password is incorrect or invalid. So then I request a new password and I get an email with a 5 digit temp password. I log in using temp password and I’m logged in again for a few days then it logs me out again. Then I repeat the whole cycle over again. This is ridiculous. Please fix ASAP.

Trying to follow the academic progress of your child is frustratingly in adequate with BrowardCountyPublicSchools.

Same assignments and grades are dumped over and over after they’ve already been reviewed and deleted from your dashboard. Tonight got about 20 new grades for one child who has only been attending this particular school for less than two weeks and yet somehow she has assignments from last August that were completed and graded.

BrowardCountyPublicSchools is hard to navigate, there is no tech support for BrowardCountyPublicSchools to even help. It logged me out and now I can’t even log in. I have done everything the instructions said and still won’t allow me. To top it off can’t find any support as I stated above to help.

The information displayed is inaccurate. My son’s lunch balance appears to be $8. However it is actual $1. Not a simple rounding error, but wrong.
Grades are not up to date. Some info is provided for one son and then not for the other, in a different school
I don’t know what info is available and accurate. I can’t dependent on it.

I downloaded BrowardCountyPublicSchools because the website said I need to in order to report an absence. Of course, there’s no where on BrowardCountyPublicSchools to report an absence. Instead if provides a school number to call. BrowardCountyPublicSchools is completely useless. Cannot stress this enough. Has nothing under my child’s assignments past or upcoming even though I know she has a bunch. I don’t think BCPS can get anything right sadly.

BrowardCountyPublicSchools would log me out at times and then does not accept my log in. When I reset the password, it’s still not accepting the temporary password that I was sent.

This is an beneficial app, you can use BrowardCountyPublicSchools to check your grades, and parents you will get to see how your children are doing in he/she classes. BrowardCountyPublicSchools is amazing, it really helps.

Horrible customer service. I had permissions since the beginning of the school year but then it was taken away recently cause all my children’s info was not entered exactly the same. For ex : CT , court. How is that the parent problem to fix. I call the schools they think I’m crazy verifying my own information. Very frustrating app. Will not be using it.

Not user friendly! Why can’t pinnacle be easier to find? I can find out what’s for lunch easier than my son’s grade! Grrrr!!!

Trying to add another student in BrowardCountyPublicSchools that I already had and disappeared is a nightmare..... could not find it at all. So many things inside BrowardCountyPublicSchools and it is so difficult to navigate. Should improve app all around

That's horrible. You’ll get to the White House or the Pentagon faster than dealing with BrowardCountyPublicSchools. Many logins. Then with the created login and password you will not enter through this "beautiful" app. What a "wise guy" created it. He probably has no children.

App does not have a way to request a conference or an email to communicate with the teacher. Just gives a grade. Nothing is loaded for homework or upcoming assignments. Had a hard time adding my other kids to BrowardCountyPublicSchools .

The county submitted a blast message to register online, use this great app, etc etc etc...and I can't do any of it because it does not include charter schools.

How can you call/text/email regarding the charter school, but not include charter schools in your app?

Why did You take down the classes I didn’t get to see what classes I am in because I just got BrowardCountyPublicSchools today August 1 put them back up please
