Misleading and scummy

Like all the apps made by this publisher, Thriftmap presents itself as a free app for aspiring thrifters to find good spots, but it ends up as an unnecessary paid app which just scrapes data from apple and google maps. You literally can not access Thriftmap until you have paid. Steer clear of any apps published by these people.

Misleading

Doesn’t mention you have to pay for it. So stupid. You think people who are trying to save money at thrift stores are gonna pay for an app that probably tells them what they already know? I know the “secret” spots in my area already. Just wanted to try this for fun. No thanks👎

Can’t use without membership

I’ve never reviewed an app before, but I’m so annoyed that I have to. The concept of Thriftmap is cool in theory, but you have to pay $27 to unlock it. Every single detail is paywalled and there’s not even a free trial period to see if it’s useful to you. Don’t download unless you’re willing to blindly pay almost $30.
