I sell cars and wanted something to help me make cool videos to post to social media highlighting cars we have. Very limited on what can done. Not really user friendly. So very disappointed. Wish I would have saved my money

Driftshot is straight garbage! Paid for a subscription that charges you for the whole year and…. You have to purchase credits on top of the subscription to use. Complete trash and unfortunately doesn’t look like I can cancel to get my money back because it charged for the year. So, $40 for an app that I still have to pay to use.

Sorry guys, but this is an awful app. Things, lights doors what not are added randomly to the car.
That is really bad piece of software and Grok or ChatGPT are doing stuff like this much better and also can correct.
Once your pics are done there is nothing to fix the bad rendering.

I downloaded this and paid for the year subscription. Tried to upload pictures of my car as it suggest and no matter how few or how many I do it stops on a random number and does not complete the upload. Driftshot IS A SCAM.

Their ‘support’ email address DOES NOT WORK either. TOTAL SCAM.

Used Driftshot for about half hour. Subscribed for 1 year plan. Can’t do any videos. After uploading 2 cars 3rd car upload is stuck frozen. 4th car upload is stuck frozen. Can’t do anything with Driftshot at this time. Looking to see if I can get a refund.

You have to pay to use it. I thought I was paying per month for $4.61/month. They charged me $59 in one charge and I can’t even use Driftshot , once I upload pictures of my car it does NOT let me click “continue”. I’m furious. I paid $59 and can’t even use it. I want my money back! I’ve tried everything and it doesn’t work!

I was charged coins for every image or video I tried and only one of them looked near accurate. The one that was what I liked what the previews and I don’t even get to keep that one. There are very few templates to choose from as well. I feel like I was severely mislead with Driftshot. Disappointing is the nicest way I’m going to say how I really feel

You CANNOT see your car with Driftshot unless you fork over a minimum of 10$. And that’s for 1 WEEK of access. Thought I’d at least give it a shot, thinking there would be a non subscription trial option where the images would be heavily watermarked and with only a small number of images generated unless you paid for a subscription. The “try before you buy” model that’s pretty standard with subscription services. But Driftshot is “buy just to try” which honestly leaves a pretty bad taste in my mouth, especially considering the price which is unreasonably high compared to other ai services that reputably offer solid results for a smaller cost. And of the developers can’t operate with a lower price point then they’re doing something wrong and if they’re doing something wrong then the product probably isn’t good. Because if it was good then they’d try to get as many people to see just how good it is. But instead they’re trying to get as many 10$ subscriptions as possible because most people will unsubscribe after seeing how bad it actually is and eat the loss and only a few will go through apples refund process. And they’re banking on this. So don’t bother Driftshot is literally just a quick cash grab

Do not waste the $! Uploaded several different angles of f my car and after wasting “credits” got pictures of the car with different versions of the vehicles features and it in some cases a large family suv that looks NOTHING like my car at all! When you “chat” to get a resolution.. you get zero response! Going to dispute the charge with my credit card company!

“Try for free!” There’s nothing free on Driftshot. You have to pay $20/month for very poor editing that you can literally have chat GPT for free with the right prompts. Can’t use your car that you upload for the videos, you need to use a picture which the ai never gets right. To top it off they only give you limited numbers of creations with your monthly PAID subscription, which you’ll need to pay additional for if you want more. Chat gpt can do the same exact thing but better and free. Complete scam.

Advertised as if you can download it, and get AI generated photos of your car in seconds. What they fail to mention is that you can only do that for select cars they have available (who cares). You’re able to add photos of your own car, but everything is behind a ridiculous pay wall. $10/week is insane for any in-app subscription. I would pay for it to write a better review, but quite frankly seems like a massive scam. Driftshot also crashes constantly, even trying to make AI photos using their weak selection of cars.

One star review, so I have to list the negative first… you go through a whole process of uploading multiple photos of “your car” into Driftshot so it can save “your car” into “your profile” Problem is that after all of that… the car that they place into the photos is not actually your car. It’s some copyright proof rendering of your car where all badges and model numbers are fake / jumbled / ai generated… so “your car” is actually just some ridiculous ai generated proof of your year, make, model.
I was pretty disappointed cause I have a classic car that I don’t feel comfortable putting in the rain, snow, or sand… so I really liked the idea of getting images in different terrains. After every single rendering of Driftshot, I will then need to go into Photoshop and edit / fix the false representations of the car / badging / decals.

Many photos of “my car” didn’t even have the same tail lights / rear end. Driftshot just created some random rendering that is not even a real model of car to protect itself against copyright infringement :/

Not worth the money :(

Now for the good:
The backgrounds and lighting look legit. The “car” even though it probably won’t be yours… looks good in the scene. That’s about it :(

So, if you have extensive photo editing capabilities and don’t mind fixing their work.. maybe it will be worth your time. Otherwise, if you are actually looking to get photos of “your car” in different scenes….. this is not Driftshot for you :(

If you have any mods on your vehicle then good luck. It constantly removes three led lights on the grill and pod lights by the windshield. I put pictures of my vehicle from every angle, close up with detail and it would still mess up and instead of refreshing for free each one takes away credits. Chat gpt can do the same thing.

The file sizes of the finished pictures are extremely small. Also, the AI spits out a lot of the same angles of your car so you can’t choose the angle of what you’re trying to create. You wind up wasting credits hoping for a different angle of your car.

Does a couple of things okay. But not what I was hoping it would do. Then the “credits” system makes Driftshot feel like a complete rip off. After paying for it they want more money to actually use Driftshot . No thanks. Uninstall.

I had high hopes for this app, but it’s been a frustrating experience. For a program priced this high, you’d expect reliable results and flexible features. Unfortunately, it only gets the car image right about half the time, which makes it hard to trust for consistent output. AI training runs sluggishly, often lagging behind expectations, and the lack of image management is a major drawback—you can’t edit or delete your uploaded images, which feels unnecessarily restrictive.

Overall, this app doesn’t deliver enough value to justify the cost. It needs serious improvements in accuracy, speed, and user control before I’d consider recommending it.

If you’re into creating AI shots of your ride that look convincing this is Driftshot you want. Not every detail is perfect but with the right images of your ride Driftshot gets really close. They update Driftshot regularly including adding new templates. Fun app for any car enthusiast.

Other apps dont compare

Absolutely do not download this, it won’t let you do anything with your own car until you pay to subscribe. Then, after a little bit of playing around you learn that you only get a certain amount of credits a month and they want more money! Complete waste, don’t fall for the trap!
