Bible Study Reviews

I am okay with spending money for a beneficial biblical resource, but unfortunately this is missing a lot of key functions and things to smooth it over.
1. Sound effects and music, it needs to be more engaging. Being able to toggle this on or off should be a setting but if you’re going to include listening programs on your app, people cannot listen to background music to focus- it should be created for them.
2. Translations. If you only have 2 translations and that’s KJV or New American standard, those are not the best for study reference. NIV ESV or NASB are going to be the best to include right away
3. I didn’t find the programs engaging enough and BibleStudy itself did not provide intuitive use functions. It took awhile to open just one of the “story” options. I was disappointed with it just being audio reading at the beginning. I want to know God’s word better but I prefer reading vs. being read to. I think the formatting was just not engaging enough for me. + I was hoping to dive straight into Scripture.

It has good bones, but it’s not quite there.

Two stars because what BibleStudy is setting out to do is awesome, and it is structured well and has a great interface to progress through and learn from. However, all of this is cringe AI slop, so obviously written and spoken by AI that it’s unsettling. AI is a tool to help us understand how things work and solve problems, not replace the complex and nuanced spiritual experiences and practices we need to engage in everyday that is to be led by teachers and wise counsel.

Would love to see BibleStudy get good talented wise writers and speakers to replace all the AI nonsense.

I love that BibleStudy allows me to learn about the Lord so much easier than reading the Bible because understanding it at times can be a bit difficult. However I don’t like the fact that whenever I run out of my 3 hearts I can’t continue my learning. I understand that you have to make money off BibleStudy but if you’re trying to get people to learn more about God and His teachings there so be unlimited hearts on BibleStudy for free.

If I want to read a part in the storybook thingy I shouldn’t have to pay just because I get a couple questions wrong that’s completely unfair because if I had no other way to with Jesus, how do you expect me to grow my relationship with him? I’m the one who got BibleStudy so I could also the AI thing is so weird if I need help and if I don’t have any other way to access help or nobody around me is religious than how am I supposed to get help you need to fix that now everybody has money and people download BibleStudy so we can grow a connection with Jesus

BibleStudy is lovely, genuinely helpful and inspiring to do good by God and learn and grow with God everyday. I’ve learned things i never knew before BibleStudy. Although, i dont like how they make you pay for the AI chat, i want to get closer to God and ask questions so making me pay seems not really pure with the apps intent but overall I love BibleStudy and hope it stays up and going.🤍✝️💯

I really like BibleStudy. It teaches the Bible/gospel in good summaries and has a nice concept to it. I do wish it would explain a few more details from some of the stories. I also dislike the way that the pictures in the reading is all AI generated. Quite sad. But I do like that you can ask AI some questions. Hopefully they are accurate. I wouldn’t know because I haven’t used the feature and you only get 3 uses before you have to pay for it. I also think there should be more hearts as well. Just because we make mistakes and I think it’s good to learn from them and have more attempt than just 3. But I really do think BibleStudy is great especially for beginners to the Bible.

I love this so much, I saw people talking about this on TikTok and gave it a try, I just completed my first lesson with the John 1-2 story, im a Christian teen and I feel guilty and lukewarm at times because I feel as though I’m not doing enough with my relationship with God. My family doesn’t go to church but I know that’s no excuse, still as bad as it may sound I can’t keep my attention on traditional things. BibleStudy is so cute, the stories aren’t scary and I love how it reads to you, the prayer at the end made me cry and the little lamb that levels up when you read is adorable. This is my favorite app ever on my phone now lol❤️

Being so similar to Duolingo makes it very fun and playful but OC you’re learning about scripture and learn about how you can get closer to God and the stories are amazing and I really do not like reading but hearing the stories and scripture make it 10 times better highly recommend and you don’t need to pay for any of it unless you want pro

i love BibleStudy SOOOO MUCH. they give you step by step on what happened in the bible, in pictionary. it’s so cool!! i also love how you can heart highlights, make a routine. and you can also save prayers! you have to tell them what you want to make a prayer about, they’ll give it to you and you can also save the prayer!!

How i found this is because i saw a tiktok saying “a new duolingo for christians” i’ve always been a christian but i never read the bible, barely prayed, and now i’m praying a lot more with BibleStudy. You learn stories, you can get a quiz, and it’s overall pretty cool/fun! surely recommend it for people that are not as closer to god as they think they should.

I always thought I was far away from God and I thought I was a lukewarm Christian but now that I’m using BibleStudy I feel closer to God because every minute counts I ask my ai questions about verses and how to become a true Christian a lot of people say you have to spend money but honestly, I just ignore the trials because I still feel closer to God W APP!!!

I love BibleStudy! But I don’t like how we only have 3 hearts because sometimes it should be okay to make mistakes and to learn from them. At least you are able to use BibleStudy for free unless you want the subscription! And it’s a great app to help you learn about God and the Bible. It also helps encourage you to do bible study everyday because of the widget you can add to your phone screen.

I just started, but I already love BibleStudy because it helps you learn about our father God and Jesus Christ if you don’t have time to go to church or if you’re busy most of the time you could use BibleStudy to help you learn a little bit more about God and Jesus so I recommend this for Christian’s Catholics or anybody who wants to learn more about Jesus Christ and our father God

I sometimes am half asleep when reading devotionals and scriptures but with BibleStudy I really can’t because then I will get every question wrong which is what I like best. It gives you questions which means you have to pay attention and learn. The questions then give you where it was in the scripture. It’s a very unique app and I highly recommend you download it!!✨✨✨❤️❤️❤️

BibleStudy has helped me on my spiritual journey so much!! BibleStudy may still be a work in progress but it has such amazing potential!! The graphics are vibrant and playful, it truly feels like i’m learning so much about the Bible in a sort of ‘Duolingo’ way. The lessons and the tasks and the countless devotionals are such helpful things when you are struggling to have daily time in the Word of God!! 10/10 recommend!!

I come from a non religious family, I don’t go to church, I can’t have a bible, no praying before dinner as family. But I tend to find things around. I pray before bed and before we eat. But now with BibleStudy, I feel like I am getting closer to our lord and savior Jesus Christ. I really do recommend BibleStudy. You read about a part in the Bible, then you are asked questions. And then to close out the lesson, you pray. I do love BibleStudy. God bless you all.

Manna help me. On June 20, 2025 I logged on manna for daily lesson when I couldn’t load in BibleStudy . I tried disconnecting and reconnecting my router to see if that was the problem, I decided to delete BibleStudy and get it back to see if that would fix the problem and when logging back into my account it said “already an account” and now I can’t get back to do my lessons and restart eve dry thing all over again

I’ve only been using BibleStudy for two days, but these two days have been great. It’s really helped me connect a closer relationship and a better understanding of God‘s way of life and his way of words I find it really hard as a teen who is influenced by society and influenced by my wants to grow closer to God and or to find time for him, even though I know I have lot of time for him. When I have a good relationship with god I feel much more happier and BibleStudy has really helped me with that!

This is a really good app! It helps me understand and learn more about God. However, I don’t like that we only get 3 hearts. I think the hearts aren’t necessary because we should be able to learn from our mistakes instead of being limited. I also don’t like that once you run out of hearts, you can’t do any more lessons unless you pay or wait around 12 hours. Another thing is that there are only two Bible versions available — I’d love to see more options added. But overall, BibleStudy is really good, and I enjoy using it. Thank you! God bless you!

I literally love BibleStudy so much. It’s such an amazing app while learning and testing yourself to see if you paid attention of what they were saying. It’s also an amazing way to get closer to our lord and learn more about Jesus Christ and what he wants for us. Really really recommend BibleStudy!!!! ✝️✝️✝️✝️💗💗💗
