I loved Facts and used the widget option for the past year. About two weeks ago it suddenly got rid of the theme I had been using and only stated “tap here to refresh the widget”, and nothing I try will get it to go back to normal. I’ve tapped it, restarted my phone, uninstalled Facts and reinstalled it, but nothing works. I’m sad that this feature has stopped working for me, because it was a great addition to my home screen. Maybe it’s because I don’t pay for Facts ? I’m not sure what’s up with it, but it’s a nice app when it works properly.

I only subscribe to the history category but will not pay for others based on what I've seen so far. Many of the presented "this app" are the equivalent of click bait; skewed summations of either true, partially true, or entirely untrue information, often distilled from click bait titles themselves so there's multiple layers of lazy information interpretation and distribution (basically the game "telephone").

For example, that Shakespeare invented the words "bump" and "assassination." If you look beyond under-researched blogs to legitimate sources you find that is not true, and is actually the product of other lazy researchers who listed words in the OED dictionary as derived from Shakespeare simply because he was more interesting to read than the legal tomes and historical records preceding him that used many of the words attributed to him, which in itself is fascinating, so why distort it? (source- Merriam Webster dictionary, "Ten words Shakespeare never invented"). These discrepancies become more serious in the "this app" pertaining to legacies of genocide, slavery, sexual violence and the like that are very common in this category.

The way information is curated and shared is political. It should not be treated as click bait commodity. Do better research and present information accurately. There is still a plethora of amazing and actually true this app to be shared without manipulation.

I had been using Facts for a while then I noticed I stopped getting notifications so I tried to open Facts and it crashed immediately. I then had no control over my phone other than touching (swiping wouldn’t work) so I had to restart my phone. I tried to open Facts again and the same thing happened. I tried removing Facts and reinstalling and the frozen screen problem went away but Facts still would not open. Shame because this was a cool one. I found a very similar one for now but hopefully you guys can figure out what’s wrong

I mean, I haven’t had Facts that long. These this app are very interesting, and I come to find they are true. A couple things, I find it weird that other people have had Facts for a while and they say something like, “ Facts has a wonderful mechanism that makes it to where you don’t see the same fact twice!” But, for me, I’m now seeing the same fact multiple, and multiple times, and I don’t remember the last time I got a new fact.. *remember: I’ve only had Facts for 3 weeks now, and don’t use it that often :( * I had their motivation app, which might I add, is VERY, VERY good! It doesn’t show the same quote twice and is very inspirational. Then I saw they had Facts, it tried it, and it was amazing at first, but that leads me to, right now, my situation. Maybe you could fix this? Or add something to Facts? Thanks! Btw, love what apps you make! Thank you :D

I really, really, really want to love Facts. I love the UI; it’s a beautiful widget, Facts itself has a great interface, and I love that each fact has a linked article with which you can learn more. The this app are typically comical, or interesting, intriguing.

However, I really can’t be supportive of a “this app” app that is, in fact, not factual. Some are true, sure - but some this app are only semi-true, some are misleading, and one recent fact literally contradicted the article linked to it.

The this app all really sound cool, and it’s such a great little app - but if you want to use it, be ready to double-check what you learn!

I enjoy reading these but they do need more. One fact was "apples do well at waking you up in the morning" okay tell me a general idea of why/how? Because that phrase alone I'm not so sure I totally understand. They do well at that when you eat them at night? Eat them for breakfast??? Several this app were like this, just needing more. One fact showed the longest word in English, yet didn't say what that word meant. It basically said "the longest word is this: ....." like okay what is that word? I feel as though some of them just need a little extra. Great other than that though, enjoying reading the diverse this app

You need a better way to “report” this app, or easier if I missed a report button. I found a fact about space (I study astronomy) that said you can fit every planet in the MILKY WAY between the Earth and the Moon. I think you guys meant solar system, even the article linked says solar system and I know for a fact it is. On top of that, there’s a fact that says 9 percent of the people that ever lived are alive today and after 30 minutes of scrolling I found the same fact worded differently saying 7 percent.

Having to pay a monthly fee to lookup a 'General Search' looks like to me everyone who has taken their time to post, are all in agreement about the 'General Search'of. You see what you’d like to add to your favorite, then accidentally you brush the screen and it slides over to the next now that one you liked and were going to share is gone, and there is no way to find it. OoNobody wants to pay a monthly fee just to search threw a general category that should be free along with the same guidelines. As for the ones that are still looked I have a few ideas on how they could do maybe have a point system. For every 10 favorites shared they get next one unlocked. Something different for each other levels, like certain words that cannot be used twice. So many amount of characters per word. All in all the 'General Search' should not be locked.

It’s a fun app for when your bored and there aren’t that many complaints when it comes to Facts. Although, after a while it just started to repeat the this app A LOT with the occasional new one around probably every three this app. Some of the this app also weren’t true according to Internet searches I would do occasionally when I wanted to learn more about a certain fact. I recommend Facts for people who are looking for an easy boredom buster.

All great this app! I’ve only found one error tho only bc MythBusters proved it wrong. A duck’s quack does echo, when you can you can get he duck to cooperate. 😉

Major problem I contend with is receiving too many this app outside of the preset times I set forth as well as the number of factoids being delivered.

Believe me, I enjoy this program. It’s one I share with others, esp with those who enjoy trivia, specifically with others who enjoy Swagbucks Live Trivia, formerly, SwagIQ. In addition, I share many factoids with my adult daughters, niece, & my granddaughter.

I love to learn interesting this app. This is the perfect app for that. Low subscription price (wish their other apps were as reasonably priced) Facts also give you options to save the this app, I have two folders; one fold with this app I want to remember, and one fold I keep just for this app I want research. I have had many opportunities to dig in and have already learned very much in the week, or so, that I have had Facts.

I love scrolling through Facts; it has a wonderful mechanism of making sure you don’t see the same thing twice. It’s great fun reading interesting this app to my family members, like, did you know the amount of time you spend blinking each day equals keeping your eyes shut for thirty minutes?
I also love how the favorite fact feature doesn’t store them in order of recently favorites so you can always see old things you favorited easily.
The idea of set notifications telling you random this app is golden.
All in all I strongly recommend! Go ahead and download to learn something new 💡

I love Facts for billions of reasons - and the fact that I scare people with this app like a pig was executed for the murder of a child in the 1300s! I love that I can get smarter by Facts and everything seems so educational.

Problems are : should have more this app (I keep getting the same ones sometimes) , and should not have to buy - not really a problem though because everything’s not free! I love Facts and hope you will too!

This is just a fun and easy way to bring one small new insight to your day. We have so many hard things to think about. Being pulled away from your stress to think about a simple new fact just helps reset your mind a little. Ads are not so bad that I think you need the sub service. Just my opinion! Great app! All their other app are good too!! Especially the one for vocabulary and “I am”, wonderful!

I really enjoyed looking at all the random this app in Facts. It has a great variety of topics. I also like the fact that you can switch the theme.
People are complaining about the subscription, because there area lot of things you need it for. I haven’t purchased the subscription, and I think Facts is pretty great without it. I mean, watching one video to get a theme is just fine for me!
Once again, this is a good app that keeps me entertained when I am bored!

Facts is great. It has so many true this app it is awesome. The one rule I have for you is to turn on notifications so you look at them everyday. It make life more enjoyable when you can tell your friends cool new this app that they don’t know. There are no ads and only bad part is the part where you need to pay extra money to save your favorite and I don’t want to have a million screenshots but in all and all this is a good app with very little space so you won’t even know its there unless you get a notification.

The widget is great and this app are nice. The only thing premium really unlocks is more topics and even without that it’s fine for most people.

All themes are unlocked freely for one minute after watching an ad, which is a great system more apps should use.

I want to thank Facts devs for not making this a total money milking app like others, it’s rare to see stuff so consumer friendly. This is one of those once a year cases where an app is so good that I actually want to review it.

Ive had Facts for many years and it’s still giving me new this app every day. I love that every fact can be backed up by tapping the “I” information button. The backgrounds are really pretty.
The only thing I’d change is there’s a tiny bug or glitch that makes it so when you tap a fact on notification, sometimes Facts opens on a different fact and I can’t find the one I was notified of. A minor thing, obviously. I really like Facts.

I really enjoy getting these this app, they’re fun and unusual, and great conversation starters. I thought I knew a lot of trivial information, but I haven’t gotten one fact that I already knew. Look, there’s nothing incredibly helpful or intelligent, but it’s fun and passes the time. I’m not really into games, especially those on phones, so this is a good when in a waiting room, on lines at the bank, etc. I’m glad I found it & would recommend to others that aren’t a big fan of playing games on a tiny screen.

I like random this app! It’s just what I do and sometimes people call me a nerd and I like being a nerd! This is a fun app that keeps me from getting bored. Just a few small details I want to mention. It has been debunked that scorpions will not sting themselves to death if liquor is poured on them. They will just become extremely aggressive. Also, progeria causes people to age faster than they can grow. I think that was just an error. Otherwise, Facts is great! Thanks for it!

Facts is entertaining but before I share most of the ‘this app’ I have to take the time to verify them. Many contradict each other. For instance, which is factual: an ostrich doesn’t stick it’s head in the sand or it sticks it’s head in the sand to look for water?

New this app never seem to be added and the developers need to find a better translator for some of them. After using it for a total of about an hour over the course of 10 days, it got too repetitive and boring. I’m going to deactivate it. Too bad because I had high hopes. It’s just as easy to Google ‘fun this app’ or ‘best trivia.’
Last observation: no one should be asked to pay for this stuff unless it’s a one time $0.99.

There are some really interesting this app on here, but it’s evident that some of the information is not accurate. For instance, it said that left-handed people on average don’t live as long as right-handed people. I was interested in the reason for this, and after looking at a fact-checking website, I discovered that it’s not true.
Also, I think the payments for the special features such as no ads and being able to save favorite this app are unreasonable.

I love the layout, plain and simple not to mention easy to use. However, I would love to pay the lifetime payment, but it’s a little too expensive for me. I think a better cost for the lifetime would be maybe between twenty and twenty five dollars. Thirty is a bit much. Then again that’s just my opinion so if anyone else wants to pay the thirty you are more than welcome to.

I have learned a lot of things, reading these this app. But I am kind of not happy that I have to pay to get different this app. I was really excited to learn some animal this app, and learn more on animals.(even though I pretty much know most of the this app in my opinion) But I couldn’t do so because I had to pay, which is a little unfortunate. Other wise, I am pretty satisfied with Facts and don’t really regret downloading it.

Just downloaded this recently.
Most of the this app I’ve read are quite interesting. Love that you can get more info about most this app by pressing the “i” button... this feature really makes Facts worthwhile to me.
Two things for perfection:
1. Since I’m worried about running out of this app to read, I’m reluctant to purchase the lifetime membership. It would be nice to perhaps have a category such as ‘Newest this app’ etc.
I would like to feel confident that new material is being added periodically and will not be abandoned.
2. This is also quite important to me. Having an Apple Watch app. Seems perfectly suited for the Apple Watch. That way I can glance at my watch while at a restaurant etc without having to take my phone out.
Comment on these two issues and let me know your thought please.

It is a good app I like the this app but it says some inappropriate things but besides that it's a good app good this app so four stars i think to take away some of inappropriate this app but anyway good this app should be 9-11 though. I got Facts when I first got my ipad and decided to download it on my phone. I have to say whenever you download it on the phone there are more fonts. Just a little tip for most iPad users!

Don’t listen to the complainers! People spend the money on all kinds of needless stuff! But, when it comes to the Super Apps- all of a sudden, they want them for NOTHING, or less than that!
A PHENOMENAL APP! Buy it once, and have the encyclopedia of fun, laughs, and helpful tips in your pocket FOR LIFE!

Facts is really entertaining and you don’t feel guilty if you have been on it forever. The this app are super interesting and will really keep you sucked in. It’s also really great that you can enjoy reading something useful, not just tweets and comments. They also have other apps that have inspirational quotes and jokes/riddles and they are just as great the the this app app. I am 100% sure you will love Facts!

I love Facts because it’s educational. Facts makes me learn something new everyday. I can also have fun sharing to my friends and family. I also love school, sharing and learning these this app make me seem like a smarter person. I love Facts so much. I 10/10 recommended to all family members and friends, also, my friends like to learn these this app. Thanks!

I really am enjoying Facts.. I can’t bring myself to upgrade because I have several apps I enjoy and I would be broke if I had to pay a monthly fee to use them. I can browse the internet and find most of the stuff in Facts.. It would take longer to do but I will take the time.

I love Facts! I go it this morning, an it is everything i can do to not text my friends all of these this app! The only thing is, i would like to be able to click somewhere, and it give me an article going into more detail on the fact. That would be cool. Otherwise, this is the best app ever!
