Pretty but not functional

It’s a gorgeous app. EXCEPT for the main tab bar not functioning like a normal Liquid Glass tab bar…and since it’s the main navigational component of the app (besides scrolling) it makes the whole app feel incomplete.
Having the whole UI screen jump into a pop-up with a back button, when on the Community and Notifications tabs, feels incongruous with the idea of a tab bar.
Unfortunately, it’s enough to make me not like using it. It feels like the developers really wanted to avoid using a Liquid Glass bubble style tab bar…when that’s what they really should have just used. It’s like…half Liquid Glass.
No customization. Overpriced.

This app just feels so…basic. This isn’t inherently bad, but in a crowded weather app market, it needs something that sets it apart—and I just don’t see anything here that does that. There’s nothing here that isn’t available elsewhere for less, and it lacks meaningful customization options to tailor the experience.
I’ve tried at least a dozen weather apps over the past decade. If you’re planning to spend $25 a year, Carrot is a much better choice imo. The range of customization and features it offers is impressive. Hello Weather is another solid option—fewer features, but thoughtfully designed and, in my opinion, the best-looking app of the bunch. I would argue the “beautiful” claim of this app, especially that icon.
Just Okay - has some bugs

Issues include map selection not saved, next 10 day view a bit out of sync with right now view. the app icon itself NEEDS to change. it is so out of place for iOS and colors don't match rest of branding. the alternate predictions need better contrast. maybe the main forecast needs to be orange and the alternates more off-white-ish. i'm hoping the community reports pick up because that will have real value. only one rain icon which makes no sense since there should be options for drizzle/light, medium rain and heavy. it really feels like a beta release right now but likely will improve. I'm a sucker for a good weather app and their privacy policy makes this worthwhile.
