I love the idea of Ascend but unfortunately I haven’t been able to enjoy it because of the amount of issues it has. I bought the subscription and it still not available on Ascend it also has not saved the progress I have made so I have to keep going back and redoing the lessons I’ve done.

It won’t even let me access the study? I click on “start your journey” nothing happens, I click on the first lesson plan and try to do it that way by clicking “start lesson”, nothing happens.
The basis of Ascend is really cool, it’s sad that Ascend seems pointless however if you’re actually trying to use it as a daily tool to study scripture.

Ascend has not worked for me at all. I’ve reloaded, updated, completely deleted and reinstalled Ascend and nothing has worked. I can’t do any lessons, update my profile, or anything because Ascend will immediately take me back to the Home Screen where my phoenix is drained. I was really excited about the idea of using my phone for good and to grow my faith but it has been nothing but a disappointment. Unless this is fixed I cannot recommend Ascend.

I love the idea of Ascend, I love learning more and how easy it is to understand and read. And how it’s broken down. Content wise it’s absolutely amazing!
but the quizzes tend to glitch a lot, it always skips the last question too. All of my progress shows 0% and I’ve had 4 days of my daily studies that “are still being prepared”, I’ve had the same daily study twice,I’ve only been using it for 6 days, so I’m not too sure why. I haven’t been able to find a tech support/ help button on Ascend to report the issues.

Just problematic when you’re paying by for an app, but content wise it’s great!

I LOVE the idea of Ascend and the first day was great. However, my lesson for day two and three gave me the message that the lessons aren’t done yet. Ascend should not have been published if I cannot even get passed one day of learning some thing. I also have to pay for Ascend through an annual plan. Why would I want to pay for a year of access if I cannot even get more than of day of lessons?

I wanted to love Ascend so badly. I started last night in the Old Testament and made it through the first quiz to verify information was retained. All was well until I got on this morning and noticed that none of my progress saved. I also didn’t get points for chatting to Phoenix or doing the daily challenges. Overall, I’m disappointed. I think this could be a great resource if it worked. I even did the premium trial to see if it helped, but no luck.

I absolutely loved the concept of Ascend and was so excited to start my journey. However Ascend kept crashing after the commitment fingerprint thing. After a few tries I got it working but now I’m stuck on the subscription page. The X in the corner does work and I can’t use Ascend without paying. Don’t get me wrong I’m genuinely interested and would be willing to pay, but I was hoping to test Ascend out first and maybe try a lesson first. Is Ascend being buggy by not letting me progress or is the subscription necessary?

Tempted to give 5 stars but this is the first time I’m using it. So far it’s very nice. Straight to the point. Gives you the options for a guided path or flexible. I hope I can change later if I’m moved to. May review again later, let’s see how this goes for me😁

I really like Ascend and how it’s designed. It allows you to tailor plans based on what areas you’d like to focus on, and it presents scriptures and lessons accordingly. However Ascend is buggy for me. It’s not tracking progress and shows me still at 0%. Additionally, when going to start a day’s lesson, it will say the lesson is still being prepared. Another bug is that during the after-lesson quiz, it loads the last question and then immediately goes to the closing screen before you can answer it. I’m currently doing the free trial and am evaluating whether or not to keep Ascend . If the bugs are being worked on, I’ll likely keep it because I think Ascend has great potential. Hopefully these issues will be addressed and fixed.

I subscribed to the premium version upon downloading Ascend . I’m very excited and enthusiastic about learning more about the bible. But no matter how many times I “subscribe” or restore my purchase, the premium features are still locked. I can’t chat with my phoenix, and it’s very frustrating. I tried to email Ascend but it says the email is out of service. So i’m left to leave a review. Please help in fixing this..

Ascend is a cool way to learn more about God. It kind of mixes Duolingo with that one app to do tasks to keep your pet alive kind of thing. My only issue with it is that some of the questions when trying to answer are confusing at least they are to me and sometimes they’re also the same question worded in a different way or a different task. And the A.I they have in Ascend to try and talk to doesn’t work either. Other than that it’s still a fun way to learn more about God

I love Ascend. It makes learning about God’s Word more fun and engaging. However, there is at least 1 question at the end of the lesson that isn’t biblically sound. I went back to the Bible itself to double check one of my answers, and my answer was correct but apparently my answer was wrong — according to the quiz) which isn’t true. The quiz didn’t have the right answer. If I’m using Ascend to learn more about God, I need it to be 100% accurate.

I love everything about Ascend, it’s really amazing.

There’s just small bugs like not being able to submit your quiz at the end of the first lesson off Matthew. A recommendation I have is to add a resume button so you can quickly pick up where you left off if you have to step away momentarily.

I love Ascend, it’s very helpful but it keeps logging me out for some reason and then, when I log back in, it loses my progress and I have to start all over again. :(

So far I like it but I haven’t really used it but they get 5 stars for actually being free unlike all kinds of other Christian apps. You’d think you’d want to give it away to spread the kingdom but ppl still wanna profit off God I guess.

I love how I can get closer to god and Jesus even tho I just started I feel like he’s right here and I love how I can feel safe and feel how no one can judge me for not knowing the word of the lord but for only knowing the Bible is Jesus word and how I can grow closer to the lord everyday without forgetting to pray read the Bible Ty to the preson who made this and god bless u all

So while I was using Ascend I didn’t have to pay before but now I have to do a trial thing that I don’t want to do???

I think this will help me Ascend looks really fun. I can’t wait to get into it so far I would give it a 10 out of 10.

It was great until I bought premium and it stop working I really was excited and coming closer to god please help and fix app

Insane amount of ads. All the questions are crazy simple and don’t actually teach. Some are just a play on words. Would not recommend but if you’re very very new to reading the Bible this MIGHT help.
