Considering the vast number of people who will see and try AIFoodScanner, it should support all scales of measurements. Because it’s only deal with grams, I was not even able to enter my weight since I use the USA metric.
It says the in-app is free, but when you download - the in-app is unreachable
It says the lifetime price is zero, but it charges you after you download it.
Installed AIFoodScanner but the $1.99 Lifetime Pro Acesss isn’t available as it’s showing in the AppStore.
AppAdvice had lifetime list as free. There’s no free lifetime option in AIFoodScanner . It appears this developer has had this problem before.

AppAdvice features AIFoodScanner as lifetime free. I got to a point where I was presented with a $1.90 to proceed.
I would not trust AIFoodScanner ’s advice on food if a simple issue like the purchase is is broken.
Was charged for app when promotion during Sunday, December 1st, 2024 through AppAdvice, clearly shows it was to be free as others have pointed out. You asking for understanding is NOT ok when your app ran a promotion that was NOT honored!!
Bait and switch, I see they also did this in the past. Don’t advertise something for free, make someone go through the on boarding in your app, and then tell you you have to pay a fee.
I was given an opportunity for a lifetime Pro membership for free. Your site still demanded $1.99.
I would like to see how it works before paying. If the program works then I could see a more significant donation than $1.99 but my concern is that your site doesn’t work since the AppAdvice offer is incorrect.
Trying to find the option to input data in a way my brain and applications understand. I cannot use this daily if I have to convert all input to the metric system. Please provide an update to cater to US users - please.

App is featured in December 1st “Apps Gone Free” as completely free today, just have to complete onboarding and unlimited access is supposed to be free, but it isn’t. At first it was $29.99 but went down to $19.99 when I backed out. (Should be free for a few more hours, typically til the new version comes out.) Yes, there are costs to cover but being featured on AGF means that it’s free that day, which it apparently isn’t. Doesn’t indicate that there are a limited number of free registrations either. Too bad, looks like a good idea.
I bought into AIFoodScanner thinking that it would be a solid tool in my weight loss arsenal. The only problem is that I am in the United States and everything I do is using the imperial system not the metric system. I am not sure how long I can keep using this unless they gave the option for either.

I got it for free today and I love it so far, my only suggestion is to be able to take a photo and edit what the AI thinks the food is, for example my turkey kept getting mistaken for chicken.
