This is absolutely not a fair game as far as word usage goes. I’ve tried to use shortcuts like FBI or some such, and it says invalid word, but then the opposite side can play it. I’ve tried UPS and you guessed it-invalid word. But the opposite side can play it?? Rules should be equal for both sides. Also I wish that actual words would be valid????? Gemini is most definitely a word, yet it said invalid when I placed it on the board. This is not the first word this has happened with. I don’t care what system you’re using-if you say any word used in the English language is invalid, then you need to change what system you’re using. I see mine is not the only review that is aggravated by this. It is a problem that needs fixed if you want people to continue to play.

The game still cheats. It doesn’t add points and it constantly gives tiles that are either all vowels, forcing the player to swap and miss a turn, or it makes a word that isnt a word at all such as “oe” Why is “oe” a word when the game plays it, but not when the opponent plays it? This game is more aggravation than it is challenging. I’m switching to Scrabble Go…looks like I am unable to submit a bad review. Not surprised!

I started the game with the normal seven letters on my tray, I was not able to use my letters (all 7) to lay down my first word: smarten! The board rejected the word a number of times with no explanation as to why the word couldn’t be used. I am a long time Scrabble player and although I know this is not Scrabble, obviously, you have fashioned your game after that game. It would have been nice to have received an explanation as to why the word was rejected.

Again, a very disappointing game, even though I ended the game ahead.

This is a great scrabble game to play on my phone. The only issue is the ads that have to be played after every single round or in the middle of the game just to swap out letters. They are the same repetitive ad and it’s extremely annoying and there should be more time given in between each round with different ads. That would make the game more enjoyable.

I enjoy this game, to a point. The amount of ads are ridiculous-don’t mind a few but you’re too carried away. Also, skeptical of words used by opponent as they don’t seem to be real words and the words I use are not allowed when I know they are words.

They claim they use multiple scrabble like dictionaries but there are tons of words you can’t play and many words that aren’t actually English. You can’t play “peer” but you can play “noo” which is slang

I enjoy scrabble, so this game with right up my alley. No glitches or issues with the game itself, but the ads have become a bit excessive.
The ads pop up not just when you select aid features, but also just following random turns, at the start of the game, right before you end the game. It’s not worth it and became very annoying. Sorry

I do not like the screen to enlarge on its own after I place letters on the board to see if that’s where I want to play. I do not like it that the opponents most recent word played does not show up highlighted somehow. I do not like that there’s not an option to see if the word I’ve picked is the best word possible. Check out “ Word Chums” App and see how they do it. I’ll try one more game and then probably delete EasyWords.

What about reviewing the board at the end of the game? When the AI opponent places the last tile the game ends abruptly showing only the final score. With a close score and tiles left over it could be anybody’s game and I want to see the final board.

This is an adequate knockoff of scrabble since that game was pulled, but still would be nice to have it behave as if it were a real game

Sometimes the game freezes up and you cannot make a move. You have to close EasyWords and reopen it again to continue the play

One more suggestion. When the game is over, allow to go back to view the board so it can be studied.

In my opinion the auto zoom function is unnecessary. The entire board is not too small even on a phone so there really is no need for the game to zoom in. Also, when you are only trying out locations for tiles it zooms in, then you have to manually zoom out. Next tile you try, it zooms again. Makes the game tedious to play. Would be nice if it at least zoomed back out to show the full board when you select the “return tiles to tray” button.

This is a fun game and I’ve been enjoying it, but it could be improved. I’ve had several words rejected that I know are legitimate, which is frustrating. For me, it’s too easy (I always win) but I see other reviews that say it is too hard. It would be nice to choose the level of difficulty to suit each player.

I don’t know how many times I’ve lost the game when the opponent placed the last tile. The only thing is, you never get to see the last tile placed so you never see the board at the end… just that you lost.

I play CLASSIC WORDS a lot There are several levels of difficulty. I can trace my finger over any word anywhere on the board at any time that has been played, accepted and scored.
It then gives me the dictionary definition.
This helps with my vocabulary.

The game is fun but the letter tiles are difficult being put in the right square. They move all over the place. Also the Opponent needs to be a lot more of a challenge. Fix that and it’ll be great!!

I love the game, I would have loved to give it 5 stars, but there are way too many ads and they take way to long to get them to go away!!!!! The length of time time to get rid of them is ridiculous (having to hit the done icon)!!!!!!!!!!

I have noticed that the scored points are consistently not added for the “you” player. It happens frequently.

Rather amusing to learn what the Egyptians called the little pebbles on the Nile riverbanks.
Other fascinating things are all the archaic spellings for so many words. Someone had a lot of fun with that one.

With everything going on in this world and s relaxing to play this game.. takes my mind off everything

This is a wonderful word game and I really enjoy playing it to pass some time away. 🫶
