I keep getting an error when I try to purchase a pass and it won’t tell me what’s wrong.
Also, why is our birth date required to purchase a pass?
Why does Cap Metro need my health information and all the other personal detailed data? Too much collected, way more than should be needed to rent me a bike from one station to another. Sure wish companies like this had more respect for my personal privacy.
I want CapMetroBikeshare/program to work out because it will do Austin a lot of good but it isn’t looking too hot.
CapMetroBikeshare needs a valid error message when it errors out on purchasing. I have no VPN and it still does not go through. It just says “We apologize, something went wrong. Try again.”
I’ve tried multiple times to add a card and it will not allow me to add my card. Why offer a service if no one can add a card and be on their day. This is frustrating. Please fix and allow people to add their card without hassle.
Same as the other reviews… getting an error message anytime I try to add a card. I am unable to use CapMetroBikeshare to bike. I have no VPN and have attempted both WiFi networks and cellular
This makes me so sad that I can’t ride when I come visit Austin. The change is not an upgrade if it can’t be used.
I’m having the same problem: can’t purchase a pass, can’t make an account from CapMetroBikeshare , and there doesn’t seem to be a website I can make an account from either. Please fix this because I want to ride!!
Like others, can’t add my card. New bike system useless if I can’t pay for it.
The auto-renew feature is automatically turned on.. didn’t even know
CapMetroBikeshare couldn’t load the rental agreement so I couldn’t use it. This wasn’t an issue with my cell service - I was able to download CapMetroBikeshare in less than 10 seconds. It’s a problem with their back end. I was worried about the low star ratings. Now I understand why they’re deserved.
My account gets suspended and I cannot add/update the same card that I used for CapMetroBikeshare for years. Not sure what’s wrong with this new app.
They are scamming users because your account can be randomly suspended after buying any plans. I bought the one year plan and now cannot use CapMetroBikeshare anymore.
I had problems with the initial launch of this new app, but now everything works great. Also, the new bikes are awesome. 🤙
App and bike rental worked great. No issues. No clue what other reviewers are talking about.
