I rented a car 1/28/2026 through 2/02/2026 through Hertz rental in Wichita, Ks. I added the rental car tag to my driveks.com account before I left the parking lot. I drove on the Ks turnpike through SE Kansas, I-35 through Oklahoma and used the Texas turnpike to San Antonio, Tx. All the Kansas charges were on my statement for driveks.com. But none of the a Texas charges were on my Driveks com account. Consquently, I was charged by Hertz for those. How can this be? Does Texas not have an agreement with Kansas to bill driveks.com? No access to replace new license plate

Total flop… there was nothing wrong with the previous k-tag system. The new app does not allow the vehicle tag to be updated when the state sends a new tag. Also the service is understaffed…. I’ve been on hold for 30 minutes to just give my new tag to service center to have them enter it into the system… i thought the idea of a app is for the customer to manage the account on their own.. also I can imagine the windfall for the new company (or persons) that contracted to take over the old K-Tag system and skimp out on customer no service to save money

TxTag set the bar pretty low, so it’s nice to have a tolling app that works in multiple states with a UI built by humans.
