This would be a great learning tool if it had a music notation option. Not sure why that’s not available since this is just midi. Other than that important detail, it’s a fun way to learn some beats and practice rudiments. Hopefully they’ll add music notation in the future.
It’s fine for what it is. Really limited song selection and no actual instruction. I’d just pay the extra money for drumeo instead if I was starting over.

I was surprised that Melodics works with a practice pad as well as drums or electronic drums. It can be a good way to just improve my timing or be a rhythm coach to learn new patterns. I might not play typically.
Just started learning drums, but so far Melodics is great! It’s amazing how it follows your playing with the iPhone mic. I’m really enjoying the lessons and songs included.

Easy to understand exercises that help you build the skills to bring each limb into the mix building up to a beat! Liked the way the interface lets you see if you’re tending early or late or bang in the beat - I was late a lot but didn’t realise it at first. Has practice pad mode if you don’t have a kit.This is pretty dope actually
