CoinValueChecker is so horrible. It doesn’t even deserve one store but I had to put one store down so I could write a review. No matter what picture you take of the coin it always comes back no good then there’s pictures there’s no instructions it’s absolutely worthless piece of garbage and I’m deleting it now.
Also, it says to leave a nickname I’ve tried 25 nicknames even absurd nicknames, and it says that they’re taking this out of big scam. There are scammers behind CoinValueChecker be warned.
Using app for first time, so far it’s been incredibly difficult to get CoinValueChecker to accept a phone without giving an error message. No instructions to understand what CoinValueChecker wants. I will keep trying for a short while - hope for better!
Don’t waste your time waiting. After 2 hours CoinValueChecker just crashed
Photos are blurry and no way to focus unless you pull back really far. Won’t ID coin very fast. Very slow.
I didn’t expect no results in over half hour of waiting.
App not working; I get an error that states “we are currently experiencing some errors with scanning and detecting coins, please try later.”
Tried several times to use CoinValueChecker there’s always some weird issue
Never worked take pictures and it always says system error
App either says wrong format or try again later and never lets me scan coins
CoinValueChecker does not work-
Cannot catalog coins or identify because it takes a photo in the wrong format.
Don’t even bother to download
I tried all kinds of coins, lighting, distance and all came back with an error of poor quality or wrong format. I have an iPhone 11 pro max not top of the line camera but is good.
Scanned a buffalo head nickel and a 1904 dime. Couldn’t find anything in its “database” to identify. Seems like those should be pretty basic. App not useful to this point but will try later. Maybe a server error???
Said the coin “wasn’t the right format” even though it said it could identify coins from around the world. Deleting it once I’m done writing this review. Also VERY slow. Got no results after ten minutes of waiting.
It takes for ever to load and when you are finally able to upload a picture it either takes forever or CoinValueChecker just crashes
I’ve spent two hours trying to get scans and it keeps asking me to review. Not sure what’s going on
