I’m sorry but it’s so frustrating when you take the clearest picture front AND back of a 1971 us quarter and your app recognizes it as some coin with a woman on the front NOT EVEN A GUY !! It’s really a crapshoot if your app gets it right I honestly think since I’ve used it I think you have a 60% correct match to the coin I’m photoing the only reason I still mess around with it is because you guys duped me into buying a year long subscription. Let’s cut the price in 1/2 you refund me 1/2 the cost of your completely inadequate app and I’ll gladly erase RareCoinIdentifier it’s just laughable with some of the “matches” you make!! At one point you gave me gold coins as a match when it wasn’t even a silver coin it was a 1990 something US dime

The matching can’t figure out quarters that literally say the name Alaska on them and it says best match is Illinois.

Requires payment to use.

Honestly not going to outright pay for an app unless I’m able to see if it works.
Especially when I don’t see a way to get my money back if it’s not what I’m looking for.

I just downloaded today and they charged me 29.95 and it will not even recognize a us quarter or give a value for a coin in my pocket. No free trial like other apps. A scam.

No seriously I want my money back and I’m contacting Apple right now. RareCoinIdentifier has identified every single coin wrong that I put in front of my camera from dimes to Nichols to quarters to the silver dollars. It has gotten every single one wrong. Do not buy RareCoinIdentifier Apple take RareCoinIdentifier off of your store. It required me to give you one star to give this review.

Please have your developers contact me I want my money back. It hasn’t matched up to any of the right coins. I will stick with google I don’t know how to make it English. It said an American coin was worth 2 pounds….

I grabbed a regular quarter just to see how well it identified it. It said it was a half dollar! It was a regular US quarter. I had already paid for the year subscription so RareCoinIdentifier is great if I were rating for taking peoples money without giving the service they claim to give.

It probably is a good app, but the first time I scanned a coin, it wouldn’t show me anything until I paid $39. Not happening, it’s a “come on”. Uninstalling it 😠

It costed money for a gosh darn premium and I didn’t want to pay so yea
