My Drama: Amazing episodes Reviews

The ads made it look very good. I really wanted to watch the 2 stories I saw but after reading the reviews I was hesitant. I downloaded MyDrama and right away had trouble moving on the the 2nd episode of The Alpha Mate. I went to the Terms & Conditions. The following that I read made me delete MyDrama .

Section 4.7
“The Company has no obligation to provide you with customer support of any kind. However, the Company may provide you with support from time to time, at the Company’s sole discretion. “

RED FLAG!

Section 6.7
“Purchases made via an App Store are subject to such App Store’s refund policies. This means when a Purchase is made through an App Store, we can not guarantee refunds. You will have to contact an App Store support.”

That makes sense but…

Section 6.8
“To the extent permitted by applicable law, Purchases made via our website are non-refundable and/or non-exchangeable, unless otherwise stated herein or is required by applicable law”

In other words, you’ll only get a refund through Apple or Google or whichever App Store owner you use IF you make purchases through MyDrama itself.

4.7 is the main reason, along with the reviews which confirm no customer assistance, that I will not be using it. But also the fact that it glitches (if it really is a glitch) as soon as I downloaded it is a major turn off.

Good luck to those of you that don’t care if you’re getting scammed or not because this is 💯 a scam.

You make your subscription very confusing. I got the $2.99 one thinking I was going to get more than one episode and no way to move on to another on. Me stupid and then did the 3 day free trial at $4.99 a week after the three days. I still couldn’t open a new episode without purchasing coins.

UPDATE:
I was contacted by developers and was thanked for my comment. They apologized for the confusion with the coin subscription. They said they would address making subscriptions and coin policy clearer.
They also refunded my money.

I liked MyDrama but when it started glitching I had to erase it and re instal it. I come to find out that it erased all my progress and I need to start form the beginning. I contacted costumer support to see if they can rectify this issue since it was their app that was the issue and I emailed them multiple times and all the responses was the same copy and pasted response. They said they canceled my subscription yet I never had one to begin with. I wish someone would get back instead of them copy and pasting the exact same response every time I messaged them.

I log in daily and my coins never change. I have been stuck at 99 coins for 2 weeks. I tried using the coins to unlock one episode and it doesn’t work. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling installing MyDrama and still the same. My progress is completely stuck, I’m not comfortable putting any money at all into an app that doesn’t work. I have reached out to support, but no response. Which is another strike. I would definitely be very cautious about putting any of your money into MyDrama as it doesn’t seem to be well supported and doesn’t work well at all.

This drama app has one great potential. However support never responds. Coins obtained thru subscriptions are not always correct. The subscription options had a description about what you get but now they don’t. In comparison to other apps this one gives 1 free episode per day. Other apps you can earn at least 5. The original stories are great. I keep hoping they pull it together but definitely lacks options compared to for example Reel Shorts

I just got MyDrama a few days again and even purchased the subscription. I did that before creating an account but like any other apps I’ve used that just links your progress so it’s not lost like it tells you, not this one. I took all my progress of the show I was watching plus the subscriptions I had just paid for and now the customer service is unresponsive in resolving my issue. I’m so frustrated and disappointed in this service, never again.

I like MyDrama is a 9/10. One thing that I’m not enjoying is that we don’t have any other ways to earn coins without paying. And if you have seen already the other stories preview you loose the chance to complete goals for free coins.

I have attempted to cancel this account now twice and I have shut off the auto pay like they say too but this did not help. I was charge again yesterday. I have sent messages to customer care email and they have not been helpful either. I never received the 300 coins daily or any other benefits and that’s with checking both MyDrama and online. There is no log in option on either one either. I will have to report it to Apple since I have not allowed this purchase now TWICE!

Uses your coins without your permission and even uses coins on the same episodes that you already watched. The only time it even shows anything for your coins is when it’s already helped itself to all your coins that you have and then it asks for more coins cause your out. If you scroll back an episode make sure you don’t leave it that way or your coins will get used for it even though it’s already been unlocked. They’re really sly about it too, if you don’t watch carefully you’ll miss it.

I like the stories so far. The actors are all great and there’s a lot of emotion in the scenes. As with all the other “tv shorts” apps, stories aren’t free. So if you’re willing to put some money into a story you’re watching and enjoying, I suggest you do it.

MyDrama could have great potential. But right now it’s horrible. The daily watch count for videos does not reset itself like it should (to earn extra coins), when you ‘earn’ coins, they don’t give them all to you. And do NOT buy the subscriptions. The one I purchased stated 10 free episodes, and 500 coins (100 per day). Not only did I receive zero coins, I only got 5 free episodes. I tried reaching out to the developer for customer support for over a week. No answer. What a scam.

I love everyone of them but short and you have to pay , you don’t offer five free episodes if you watch ads for us to continue to enjoy the show. Everyone not bless to pay on fixed income.

MyDrama has made me unlock the same episode for 7 days now. I would like to see new episodes!!! It does work on a points system which nice but not when they use your points for the same episode over and over again.. You can pay to watch more episodes but some of us can’t. We sit here and do the daily checking to watch just to have the points taken away over and over…

I paid for a subscription and it only let me watch a few episodes then wanted me to buy coins to continue to watch the movie I was watching. MyDrama is definitely not like the others. On those, if you pay for a subscription it will automatically unlock the whole site until the subscription automatically renews or you cancel. This one is a fraud. I only gave it 1 star because Apple doesn’t allow 0 stars.

Paid for the weekly subscription and it still requires me to buy coins. MyDrama makes it impossible to earn coins to watch the movie, you can earn coins but the episodes are super expensive and you can earn many so you can only watch about an episode a day free. Other apps if you pay for a subscription, all movies unlock until your subscription runs out. The movies are good but that’s insane money to watch a show.

If you watch 1 episode worth 99 coins it will use up all coins that you have. Even free episodes already unlocked will use up purchased coins. MyDrama is not yet fully functional and not properly programmed. Until they fix all the bugs don’t use. I even did the free trial where you get 500 coins per day and after the first day no extra coins. I have to contact support about every single issue. 1 star

This series is better than daytime television but harder to try and watch. You just have to build up points to watch. Love the handsome actors and beautiful actresses. Hopefully they make more shows together!

I saw the ad and thought the story looked interesting. I loaded app and read opening which was repeated three times for some reason. I was surprised to see that there was a 4.99 charge to read further. All total, I may have actually read for 10 minutes. I looked for a way update my profile and found none. What’s up with MyDrama?

So are you able to watch a free episode a day or not? Cause if so it’s not working for me. Plus where in the world do you find information on the weekly subscription? I know you are not serious that I pay you 5 bucks a week so you can give me an episode a day?? Especially has short as they are. Sorry but way to expensive. Get a weekly subscription where I can watch any and all episodes for like 20 buck and we can talk

I absolutely love some of the shows but it’s so hard to be able to watch them. It’s actually unfair to the actors and actresses. Hard to get coins for those of us that can’t pay. I would think they would like to have more views.

Really enjoy the shows & have a few I would love to watch fully but unless you are willing to pay a lot of money will never get threw the first one. I can’t even get the full reward for watching the 20 episodes because I have watched all the free episodes in each show. So for someone that doesn’t want to spend money this is the only one I have seen that I may have to delete even thought I really want to finish at least the one I started 😭

I signed up for the free trial, which I never got. I signed up for both subscriptions to pay monthly, but I only got a couple episodes. And I’m not spending over $100 to watch an episode. But I wouldn’t mind paying a few dollars a week or a month to watch unlimited episodes. And I really like your episodes however watching ads is getting really old. And I’ll probably end up switching to an app that offers a subscription.

..so I made a review last night about the subscription I’m still a little confused by it but hey we can work with it because I do absolutely love MyDrama . But now my only issue it how do I make it to were I’m not a guest ?? How can I change my profile info .. MyDrama confuses the heck out of me lol other wise I love this videos so much so I’m not going anywhere HELP !!!

Don’t download MyDrama unless you would like to spend $75+ for a single season of one-minute-long episodes.
My biggest issue with these types of apps is that they are delusional with their pricing. I paid less money for three seasons of Game of Thrones, which I’m sure we all can agree cost a lot more money to make. it’s not fair to the consumers, or the actors and actresses who deserve a lot more screen views. These apps would make so much more money if they would price themselves more reasonably.
Although very “B-rated”, some of the actors and actresses are actually pretty good, and the series themselves are pretty addicting. But the hair and makeup team needs to be fired. Ultimately, the biggest issue here is the pricing. Some of these apps do offer a monthly subscription that gives you unlimited episodes, however, MyDrama does not offer that- making everything a lot more expensive. I will not continue to watch on MyDrama unless they address the pricing scale.

I love the shows, but I feel as if you have false advertisement. You do say that it is totally free and then when you get into MyDrama you either have to pay or are only allowed to watch a episode or two a day. Episodes are extremely short, which is frustrating and I wish that you wouldn’t advertise that it was free.

I like the movies MyDrama has but 99 coins for every episode is too much. Plus, it doesn’t have where you can watch an ad to unlock an episode like other apps have. I don’t understand why it’s expensive to buy coins. Not in this economy!

Of all the short stories I have seen so far are really stunning. Just wish that when you run out of coins to move on to the next chapter that you could watch an ad to unlock the next chapter

I love the shows! They are so intriguing. The only downside are how expensive the videos are. Now I will say you have made it so we can collect coins, but while watching videos to collect it’s always saying there is an error in recalling video. Also, I have two shows I have been watching, but to my surprise it showed I was on the 1st video of the 2nd show. Overall, love the content and actors. Help us get more coins.

I’m only been using it for a week so I can’t say much about it no issues with anything I do notice you guys charge weekly and other apps don’t for me is an inconvenience because I don't like all of the histories I prefer paying for the story that I'm interested plus you guys are more pricy other than that not too bad for me. sincerely Mp

I subscribe to a lot of these apps, but this one you’ve got really good movies on it except for it’ll cost me an arm and a leg to watch them. You have no way to subscribe for a week or a month. For instance, ReelShort, you can subscribe for a week. mini you can subscribe for a week or a month I like to watch a movie all the way through and if I can’t do that, I don’t use MyDrama , but I wish I could because there’s a quite a few in yours that I’d like to watch, but I’m not gonna pay the absorbent amount of money needed to watch it. I feel bad because the actors in the movies I chose are really good, you know maybe the movie will float to an app that I can watch on . I also see in all your comments and your responses back that you understand about the pricing you’re gonna look into it, but I don’t see that anything‘s been done. Furthermore, I subscribe to the 499 for a week and got two episodes what was up with that? I also just read some more content and it’s I feel like the developers and no way are looking at subscriptions. Like I did the same thing someone else did I purchased a $4.99 subscription and got nothing for it. I had to still buy coins and they said oh they’re gonna make it more clear that everybody is complaining about so there you have it I guess I won’t be watching love captive to the mafia

There IS great content, but you don’t ever get to view it! Every single time I FINALLY, (& after a LONG time of saving up!!) When I FINALLY have enough saved up to play my next new episode, MyDrama CONTINUALLY takes all my coins and spends them on the very last episode that I have already watched!!! So I’m back to not enough coins ONCE AGAIN to watch ANY new episodes!!!!
And this hasn’t happened just once!

It happens AGAIN and AGAIN AND AGAIN!

I am talking every darn time I come into MyDrama!!! It is SUPREMELY frustrating and the reason why I will be cancelling MyDrama, good content or not.

It basically means you cannot get ANYWHERE with viewing anything, unless you pay an exorbitant amount since the episodes are so expensive individually.

I really do think MyDrama has the best content, but bottom line-what is the point, if after a few days of saving and watching only multiple commercials, if you still can’t even view one new episode!?!

Dev’s need to fix this on-going issue and I’m not the first to point it out in reviews, which leads me to believe this is done on purpose! So yeah, I will be deleting MyDrama for sure unless this is fixed.

The stories they have are great - some of the actors & actresses better than competing apps even BUT even when signing up for a subscription you are paying out the rear end per extremely short episode, I don’t understand it! You can earn coins from watching ads and signing in for a day but after all of that you get maybe 5 minutes of viewing if that! To see an entire story you’d spend almost $100 with “a premium subscription”!! I’m sorry to the writers, the actors/actresses that aren’t getting seen and heard bc of the insanity of the prices!

THIS IS THE BEST APP TRUST ME! I recently got MyDrama and I’ve gotten short things like this before, but they haven’t been the same. I definitely recommend this one. Its AMAZING and I like other ones I’ve tried before we have to watch ads to collect money so far I haven’t had to do any of that I can just peacefully watch the video. This is a 10 out of 10 app and I definitely think people should get this

I already updated it. And I’m trying to watch but every time I try to watch a Check In or even watch the 7 ads it keeps giving me an error Ad Loading Issue and to try again later. It’s been happening for the last couple of days. When I watch a series (20) so that I can collect more coins to watch the one I really want to watch, the coins are being used for those 20 episodes and then I don’t have enough coin to watch the one I want. The episode are worth more coins than what I can get in 1 day.

First, I never write reviews! However, you need to know what your getting into! I first tried the subscription and watch 2 episodes to be told I was out of coins! Isn’t that the point of a subscription to watch there content! Then I decided to try there coins! 5.00 for 5 shorts! Each short is like 1 min and there 85 epsoides! I could by several full length! There ad said watch free! So I tried watch ads! I don’t mind this, after all we all have to make a living. However, after watch five ads I still could not unlock 1 episode! So as you can see I really tried to give MyDrama a fair go! However, I think it maybe a money scam

Love the short movies, but wish you had a unlimited weekly subscription for one price. Sign up for the year subscription. I got nothing out of. Thought I was signing up for unlimited access. That’s what it said but still have to buy coins. Just watch your shows you have some great shows on your site. You just need to have it where it’s more affordable for somebody who wants to watch more than just one show.
I would give you a five star for the shows, but give you a one for the cost and how hard it is to be able to watch the shows.
