When will these AI app creators learn that people are tired of being ripped off? When you’re the new guy, it’s a good idea to win people than be greedy and charge money, especially since the results are garbage. No one wants to lose money. At least try to be impressive. VideoAI does even try. It’s sloppy and lazy and greedy. If you insist on serving people a halfway attempt, at least give us an option to watch videos for credits. I won’t buy this garbage. Take it back to the drawing board boys. Try to sell something competitive with Sora and Dreamerland.

I saw in instagramm ads like grandmother hugging with her son or grand son and it was beautiful, whatever,
I have bought subsription for 1 week, ($6+) and upload my photo and my dad photo, under photo you can promt ai what you want to do with this photos, i aded " let them hug each other" after you suppose to wait 4 minutes while video is creating. I was so exited , but first result was just random video with no my face with no dad, just random people random everything, i thought maybe photos not enough qualities, and found good photos, try to use different promt, nothing, always just random videos with no me and my requests, please dont waste your money , like me

I put in my photos for the hugging videos and they never used my photos. It just created videos of random people hugging. I tired it many times and it never worked. I will request my money back.

After 4 attempts and uploading 2 photos to make a hugging scene the video generated a random scene with people I don’t know who they are. It didn’t work like it indicated in the steps. I subscribed for one week and cancelled immediately.

After seeing all these hugging Ai ads, I decided to try it but VideoAI is a scam. The images you are prompted to provide are useless because they just give you a pre-rendered video and the images aren’t used as reference.

Bought the week trial when I go to create video it just tells me somethings wrong and to retry and retreat over and over it won’t let me do it. Waste of money don’t do it.

Added the photos of family members. Clear photos. And it give some random scene and no one that even resembles the family members. It makes it seem like it uses your family photos but it does not. Don’t waste your money.

About 40% of the time it will error out, 20% of the time VideoAI will just crash, and the remaining 40% of the time the video it creates will feature the same scenes regardless of the prompt it’s been fed. Whatever AI they’re selling access to isn’t Sora as claimed. They’ve since renamed VideoAI, but it does show their intent to try to ride someone else’s coattails.

I tried to email the developers and it was undeliverable, meaning their email servers are down. If you want to experiment with text to video AI, look elsewhere.

It seems to use a set of preselected videos to create a sequence rather than generating fresh ones.
I’ve tried multiple different prompts and gotten a collection of the same clips multiple times now.
On top of that, it doesn’t ever give me what I actually typed in, just things that have some vague relation the prompts and sometimes not even that.
I’m convinced the Ads for this were pre-rendered and false claims. Because the quality of what I’m receiving versus what was advertised are very different.

so I paid for VideoAI, hoping that it would do what it says it does. It does not work. I really wanted to create a video of me and my late grandpa hugging. After it creates the video it starts out with the pictures that you chose but then it puts in different people, who I've never seen before, to the video that end up hugging. Complete waste of money. I wish somebody would make an app that actually does what it says it supposed to do, completely frustrating.

When you start it says you have two credits and it takes 1 credit to make a video. It won’t let you. No matter how many times you try they want your money before you can see if they’re product is actually worth it. If I could have given zero stars I would have.

I wanted to do the 26th one of hugging but I pressed create and it said sonthing went wrong I did do the other one called start and end frame but it sad sonthing went wrong but I did the text to video but it said sonthing went wrong so I need you guys to delete VideoAI now

Had to pay to use it the free credits they give you can t be used without signing up they advertised putting two pics together to hug and doesn’t do that at all the peeps don’t move at all just pans the pics back and forth and messes up the faces!! BEWARE TOTAL SCAM!

None of the photos I’ve done even resemble what the ads show. I wanted a photo of me and my late husband hugging and I’ve tried 25 photos, paid 6.99 and I get pictures of my husband hugging men, odd photos being added that I never did it’s awful.

VideoAI came up as a pop up and it claims it could make video AI with two photos and it doesn’t do anything with them. Just uses them in a slide. SMH. Waste of time.

I saw a few ads on Instagram and have seen AI do some seriously amazing things, while I was very skeptical and never buy without trying I risked it. Unfortunately I wish I wouldn’t have.

I wanted to create the hugging video - the examples they show are amazing … However the AI completely distorts your photos and turns them unrecognizable. Your hands turn into uh … not hands, the faces aren’t your faces. It’s cruel to promise things you can’t deliver especially to people who are often grieving and searching for some kind of comfort.

I am completely dissatisfied and sad I paid to use VideoAI for 5 minutes. Save your money and cherish your memories!

Was just a mixture of premade videos put together and had nothing to do with either of my pictures (I tried the hugging option) and nothing to do with hugging. I tried multiple times and nothing but the same premade video. I should of checked the reviews before getting VideoAI because I saw other people having the same issue. VideoAI people are responding backing saying to to contact customer support and they will make sure to fix the issue but with how far back people are having issues to now, they don’t seem to be
fixing anything.

VideoAI turns your pictures into completely different people. They need to just turn your faces away when they can no longer see what it should look like. You also have to edit your photos to have identical backgrounds or it looks like you tried to merge 2 completely different pictures. Cute idea to have you be able to hug your loved ones that you’ve lost but the execution is a complete fail. They should have way more editing options to trim the videos (before you turn into someone else!) & add music at that price.

I saw the video online of the daughter being able to hug the father.. it was beautiful and made me want to do it because I have a deceased sister that I would love to hug again, so I thought I’d give it a try in hopes I’d be able to see the same result.
I was definitely fooled.. spent the money for nothing apparently.. the first video was just a random transition of my own photo turning into a random child and hugging itself.. and the second, my sisters image just disappeared and nothing happened.. shameful VideoAI tries to capitalize on giving people grieving a false sense of hope.. SHAMEFUL.

Downloaded VideoAI , signed up for the free trial and tried to do literally anything. I wanted to make a video with my late father… said I didn’t have another credits so I just subscribed for a week… still said I didn’t have credits and said “unexpected error” any time I tried to do anything… but the charge worked, nothing else did. I tired to contact the company sending an email using their support feature and the email won’t send- gmail it is not accepting emails so I doubt I’ll get my money back. DONT TRUST IT

I saw the ad and thought I could create a special moment and I should’ve read the past review before purchasing with excitement. It made random videos with the photos I created I tried different pictures and same result of a horrible video bad quality. Then just to try I used the template photos they use and used the template they use with the young man and old lady hugging and still somehow turned out bad nothing like the example they kept showing.

Like many people, I purchased the 6.99 subscription to make a video for a loved one. Unfortunately the first one that was made didn’t really do anything. And the second one turned both people into 2 different completely looking people. Save your money if you plan on doing the same thing. The Ai is a cool concept but would be better when things actually work as they were advertised.

I bought the one week subscription. $6. My mom is going thru cancer treatment, her mom passed away when she was 4 y/o. So I saw VideoAI on instagram of different people hugging each other. I got so emotional thinking I could make one of my grandma hugging my mom. But it doesn’t work. I tried if 2 other picture, better quality, and nothing. The video just show one person turning around and the other pic disappears. I LOST MONEY AND TIME!

I also saw a video for this on social media with two pictures being animated to each other. I thought this would be emotional for me to hug my dad one last time. To my surprise, every single video I created was not even remotely close to the ad. It was random people doing random things like dancing in the rain or a couple walking under an umbrella. This is just ridiculous. I’m going to ask for a refund for this foolishness.

I saw an advertisement of VideoAI with the capability of combining two pictures (2 people) hugging. VideoAI won’t let you try their features until you pay for a subscription. I paid and tried multiple times, it did not work like it advertised. The effects are bad, one picture will start moving randomly into the other. Weird hands coming out of nowhere. It’s useless. It’s a shame and false advertisement.

I paid for VideoAI to create an AI-generated video, but it was a complete disappointment. After creating the video, it took forever to process, and I never received the final product. I was hoping to create a simple video of one person hugging another, but VideoAI failed to deliver. It feels like a total waste of time and money. I would not recommend VideoAI to anyone—save your money and look for a more reliable alternative!

Tried three different options where you turn your photos into videos,the hugging, the kissing and just plain animation, they ALL sucked. Doesn’t even resemble you when it turns the photos into moving clips! I was hoping for something better since AI is the new thing but trust me VideoAI is not it. I don’t barely ever write a review but don’t want anyone to waste their money, luckily I only lost $6.99. Buyer beware, I warned you!

I wanted to make a video of my mom being able to hug her grandma that had passed away, I had to pay 6.99 just to create one video and it’s supposed to repeat every week charging me almost 7 bucks for something that isn’t even good quality. The quality is terrible, you have to pay to create one video, and it’s not even worth it. It took something that could be memorable and butchered it, the hype wasn’t it and I better not get charged 7bucks every week. On top of that I had sent multiple emails on canceling my subscription but I get a message stating that they can’t do anything or can’t understand the email. Waste of time

It’s a new technology & I understand what this is about to do to society but atleast knock out the kinks before trying to change the price you are charging. App crashes & NOT worth the time, patience & unlimited data

To follow up- VideoAI email doesn’t even work. I’ve tried sending emails to an address that returns them back to me. Apple needs to protect its consumers & trash companies like this! Shame on you Apple

It does create a video. But it’s like a second and a half clip that it rewinds and forwards for a 8 seconds. Plus in the free version it only gives you 2 credits and the videos does even look that good. I understand that Ai videos are new but still

VideoAI keeps limiting me to 2 credits and opens a prompt for a weekly subscription even after I have already paid $40 for an annual subscription. Videos that are created are of low quality (even lower than some of the lesser expensive competitors).
