TalkAI translates the words but doesn’t play it so you can hear the translation. Very disappointed. I’m canceling after a few hours of the free subscription.

Yeah, TalkAI translate it, but it does not use your voice or speak the text that is written like it was advertised

TalkAI doesn’t even let you talk through the mic. It doesn’t even listen to what you are saying it barely even lets you speak in the microphone. The microphone doesn’t even work for me and it doesn’t let you even talk. I rated one star because it lets you open up TalkAI , that’s the only good thing about it and you have to pay for good experience, it doesn’t make sense to have to pay for good experience. The microphone is not well. It doesn’t even listen to what you were saying that’s the part that threw me off because it was talking about how good it was and how good and listen to you when it doesn’t even listen to you because it doesn’t let you talk through the mic.

TalkAI doesn’t work at all, you push the microphone icon and it will only click and stop. We have tried over & over attempting to use the different languages but nothing. Now we fear it’s a scam to acquire data. Please be careful .. we deleted quickly

The translation speaks way too fast. You should be able to slow it down in settings.

I tried the holding down the microphone button so I can talk into it so I can translate and it would cut off within seconds. Was not able to use it so I’m canceling my subscription. I was so excited to use it very disappointing. It’s not working.

I paid for TalkAI and it does not work. The voice translator does not work . Even if I press on it . TalkAI doesn’t work . I am not happy with TalkAI at all because I payed for it . TalkAI needs to be updated. I am super disappointed.

TalkAI is horrible. It does not talk back like the advertisement video shows. It only shows a translation in text.

When I press click and speak button… it works for like 1 second then goes back and it’s not working fix or I can just delete and download another app or use google translate which is free btw “L” App.

It does not even use your voice to hear yourself talk in another language it makes up a voice for you🤷🏿

It doesn’t work like the ads we have seen and also it doesn’t have the languages we were looking to use.

The translator by audio does not work. I press it and it’s just doesn’t stay or I say something and it doesn’t respond but the text by translating is good.

I was under the impression that it works use your voice. The video that led me to TalkAI showed a lady speaking and it translated to French in her voice. This didn’t use my voice at all.

The advertisement makes it seem as if it will use your gender voice as it did with the female however it’s only a male voice what a joke

Tried to record and play back in a different language (Italian) and while the words translated on the screen, the sound was absent.

It speaks to fast to keep up.

It doesn’t use your own voice! It takes what you say and says it back in an ugly deep man’s voice. These people manipulate on their ads so they def won’t have my business. I like truth

TalkAI does translate what you say but it is NOT in your voice. This needs to be fixed or the advertisement needs to be more honest about the functionality..

Also when it comes to communication, it would be nice it there was a quick conversion button for the 2nd person to use to allow them to speak into TalkAI and translate their dialogue back to english.

TalkAI could be great. Needs work.
Listen to the reviews, give the people what they want. Simple.

Most than just a translato

All the responses to the comments above me say the problem “has been fixed.” But it clearly has not been because when I speak into TalkAI I hear this random male voice speaking back.

Talk AI is a very cool concept, offering translation services that not only convert text but also mimic your voice. However, there are a few drawbacks that make it less than perfect. Firstly, while TalkAI does translate accurately and sounds like my voice, it speaks too fast, which can sound quite unnatural. This rapid speech makes it hard to follow, detracting from the overall user experience. Secondly, the inability to share translations with friends is a significant letdown. Sharing translations via text would be a highly useful feature, and its absence is disappointing. Currently, Talk AI feels more like a novelty than a fully functional tool. I see a lot of potential in TalkAI and wouldn't mind paying for it, as it could be an absolute game-changer. However, these issues prevent me from renewing my subscription after the trial period. I hope the developers will address these concerns in future updates to enhance TalkAI 's functionality and user experience.

Just tried it out and it sounds just like me, no matter what language you put it to. It’s so awesome. If you ever wanna hear yourself talk in another language, I highly recommend you try using TalkAI!

I find it very little useful if the voice is like that of a cartoon character.

It would be almost perfect (****/) if the voice was at normal speed and it would be perfect (*****) if you could choose the speed of the voice.

TalkAI is really interesting and cool although is it possible to add more languages especially Dari/Farsi which is native to Afghanistan/Iran l. That would be amazing and it would make TalkAI perfect.

Would love the ability to save the messages and send to other people.

The Norwegian pronunciation isn’t Norwegian but Danish. The ai would translate it into text with no issue however when reading the text with my voice Danish pronunciation is used. But it is a cool app and will play around with it more.

There need to be an option to slowdown the voice

I love the translating but it speaks really fast and I would love to slow it down a bit or to add where you can speed it up or slow it down.

Watch your wallet! It’s a rip off, stay away from TalkAI and stick with FREE google translate.

I really like TalkAI because you can hear yourself speak in different languages but its not as accurate on some parts but its very useful. I'm a bit disappointed that you can't share the audio or save it and i'd like you to put it into consideration to add that feature but you guys might let us pay for it😭😭im broke and i can't afford but i really like TalkAI so thank you for making this!

A man is talking instead of me. I want my own voice. When i want to record my voice, it says something went wrong. I tried 20+ times and restarted my phone with no luck

I tried about 30 times to have it capture my voice. It ask you to speak for at least 30 seconds. I tried for 30 seconds, 45 seconds, even several minutes. Always has same message “sorry a problem try again” obviously TalkAI doesn’t work.

It’s actually such a good app to impress friends or learn languages it’s very cool and fun to hear your voice in different languages and can I just say how impressive TalkAI is!!-saniya

The playback speed dose not download correctly. Also it seems a bit to fast at a normal speech pace

Tried the free trial and every time I tried the AI translator I would record for over 30 seconds and would say something went wrong please try again. I tried over and over and always got the same message. Cancelled free trial immediately.

When I try to record my voice it kept saying to try again and it never worked

No matter how many times I’ve tried to speak into it and re-try it even speaking more clearly it always has the same outcome “sorry please try again” or something like that.

Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t.. I cannot record my voice with the Ai to make the translation sound like my voice

I try to restore my purchase and every time I try to put my information, nothing happens and i’m stuck in a loop of trying to put my password in.

I tried recording my voice a ton of different times using a microphone, not using a microphone and it’s still kept giving me an error. not worth it

Every few days I start getting persistent pop-ups saying that I need to subscribe and my trial period is over. I purchased a year-long subscription and no matter how many times I try and restore my purchase, the pop-ups keep happening. I have to delete TalkAI and then reinstall it and then restore my subscription and then a few days later, the pop-up start happening again. Really frustrating, especially since every time you delete and reinstall TalkAI , it requires you to record your voice again.

Im a third culture kid who can’t speak Portuguese very well even though its my mom’s native language, and TalkAI was so cool to have it simulate my voice, we loved hearing it. Would be cool to have a feature to send audio messages through WhatsApp or something but for now TalkAI is really great

TalkAI is very cool and fun to use when talking to people who come from different backgrounds and cultures. Also good when having conversations with friends in a different language!!!

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but my subscription needs to be cancelled. There is nowhere to cancel it on TalkAI . I Can tell TalkAI is trying to be sneaky with it. I tried to cancel it via TalkAI Store but it doesn’t seem like it has. I better not see a charge from you all

Why does it say ad-free subscription but there are already no ads? I am not paying 8 dollars a week! I rather watch advertisements. That is a ridiculous price!

Tried recording my voice 7 different times and EVERY TIME it just gave a pop up that says ‘something went wrong, try again”. what could possibly go wrong when ur just talking? Ugh so frustrating. Well after the 7th TIME I said F it and just deleted it. Would have been cool. They just want the hit of that download. Even if u don’t purchase it, they get to count that download. Really obnoxious. No stars 🙄

I have attempted to record my voice four different times on TalkAI and it keeps telling me that something is wrong. This is kind of a bust if you ask me. Will not be renewing it will not be purchasing and will be canceling before the trial.

An advertisement for TalkAI popped up on my Instagram. I immediately jumped to TalkAI Store and downloaded TalkAI . I work in the health field and really need to work on my Spanish.
I have tried to record my own voice several times. According to other reviews, and recent responses from the developers, the microphone issue had been addressed.
Garbage! Definitely not fixed. Waste of time!
