Just looked at the simulated earth-moon system. The earth and moon rotate correctly. The moon is orbiting the earth in the wrong direction. Because of this, the face of the moon that faces the earth is changing as it orbits. It’s rotates multiple times in the course of a single orbit. The moon rotates multiple times in a single earth day and orbits the earth in a single day. What will you learn from this?

Opened SpaceGate , went to Earth. The moon is shown revolving and not tidal lock with the Earth. Such a basic aspect of earth and moon science. Immediate delete. The positive reviews are all written by the developer.

Offers some pretty pictures; but without instructions or any sense of purposeful design, I don’t see the point.
Simple example: I cannot find any evidence of the “Eclipse Explorer” pictured in SpaceGate’s very first App Store image.
There are plenty of free and inexpensive non-subscription astronomy apps that assemble more information and are more user-friendly.

I chose to explore Mars but got stuck on Phobos and no amount of tapping or dragging could get me back to focus on Mars. Also, I’m stuck there. I can’t find a way to back out and choose something else to explore.

This is a space knowledge learning software that I really like. The key is that it has a comprehensive perspective and you can actually feel the wonders of space from various angles.

I needed this for science like a week ago. Wish I knew about it sooner. overall great app with accurate planets.

The “x” various planets Speeds around the Sun I don’t quite comprehend though. Then all the planets except Mercury and Venus have companions rotating around them . Earth has at least the moon. You can surely see I need help understanding

Only critique I really have is there could maybe be more information available? Or make it astrology-related too 😈 lol jk, sorry, I’m biased. Great app. Thanks! Such a work of art.

SpaceGate is packed with good information about space and solar system, the AR feature is amazing.

It is really nice app to have! Awesome for making backgrounds for your phone. Worth it to purchase.

App graphics are stunning. It also offers customized snapshot taking, which I used for my wallpaper.

I really like that SpaceGate is also available on Mac, using Mac version I am teaching solar system and astronomy concepts to my students.

I have been using SpaceGate for a short while now, and I am really impressed with how functional and easy to use. My general understanding on spaces has improved thanks to the software.
