I wouldn’t pay 50 CENTS a year for Drawww - even if it worked! - Uses very little of your drawing to guide the image. It creates an image from your prompt and makes minor changes to it based on your drawing. -Completely ignored many things in my drawing and prompt - The “3-day free trial” lasted all of 15 minutes since you’re limited to about 150 “generations”. Since every change to the drawing counts as a generation. -The prompt and drawing of “a house on a hill” started returning NSFW image warnings. Not from anything in my prompt or drawing, but from whatever image their model was generating. All of these “NSFW” images counted as generations.

Drawww is broken! It’s using the most basic flavor of Stable Diffusion. It freezes once you get past adding more than the most basic of lines. I don’t think the photo examples are real in the spot. There is no access to support. If you have support, it would be nice to know how to contact you.

fix it

You guys have this set up to ask you to write your app within the intro, but then I’ve never actually gotten the application to work. So do you get a one star rating until you fix what’s going on.

I tried everything I even powered off my tablet but after every single tut it would kick me out I even deleted and reinstalled Drawww I don’t recommend. But maybe it’s different for u so I would still try

UI is completely botched and seems like a dev kit demo. HD button does nothing. No ability to stop auto regen after every brush stroke. Does not work without internet connection despite the claim.

Likely nothing more than a lousy thin client for server hosted SD, openAI or some similar API.

For someone like me, who is not a trained artist, it is cool to see your messy doodles become the image you see with your mind’s eye.
That said, I definitely do not see any value in this for professional artists or AI enthusiasts at all.

Yes, it does run locally on your iPad and I guess there are certain situations where it would be nice to have. Kids would love it. It might help you unwind after a long day. It would me something to entertain you while waiting in the doctor’s office etc.

What irks me is that it loves to monitor what you are drawing or what it “thinks” you are attempting to draw. Excessively so, IMO. I am constantly getting error messages telling me what I am drawing is NSFW— not safe for work.

A. I am not at work. I am in the privacy of my own home.
B. There does not seem to be any way to change settings.
C. I’m not trying to doodle pornography. Even if I was, why is it this apps business?

Bottom line, don’t expect too much. It’s a time filler and nothing more. Just remember, Big Brother is watching.

I’ve been using generative AI tools on my own AI lab for a while, so when I saw this drop I was intrigued since I know the tech behind it.

That said, it’s amazing, wonderful, and loads of fun! I suspect it’s using SDXL Turbo and a Sketch control-net under the hood (or some variant of those technologies). The only thing that makes me wrinkle my nose is that despite local-processing it has a subscription model.

That said, I’ll be sticking with my sub in the hopes that this keeps getting development and improves! I’d love to see the ability to control more of the generation settings and upscaling settings, maybe some kind of “advanced mode” to adjust settings, and an “art mode” so you can get back in the easy flow that currently exists?

Either way I’m having a blast getting to sketch out ideas and seeing them generate so fast! It’s actually helping me learn to draw a bit better too, since I’ll have to stop and think “wait, how would I draw this concept?”
