First off, AI can be a useful tool if ethically sourced and I do not know if the Voice Actors were properly compensated for the ai training. Text-to-speech also doesn't accentuate things the way a VA would, so the delivery is bland and sometimes misread. iRead won't let you play the clip unless you pay, so iRead is training AI off of free stuff and then changing us consumers for it?? Overall a promising idea but not done well. There are other places to find free audiobooks that will be preformed better than this AI, or you can buy the audiobook and support all the talent that went into making it instead of paying this AI App
