Don’t waste your time

At first when I started playing this game I thought to myself, “oh this is fun!” I played gold and goblins for years so when I came across this one it was right up my alley….at first that is. The card drop rate is ridiculous! I maxed out all the levels, typically rate in the top 3 weekly and top 3 in 99% of the events; which should get me more cards etc. I’m currently playing a level that’s on repeat until they update new ones and I’ve unlocked 6 of the 10 mineshafts. That being said, I CANT AUTO COLLECT A SINGLE ONE!! 100 levels beat and not a single maxed out collection with almost 500k essence that is useless. You have to literally be on the game 24/7 to collect any coin because the foundry is the only one that auto collects and you have zero luck getting anything from it because it’s so expensive to upgrade and it’s always WAY behind the other mineshafts to even matter. They over charge for benefits and you don’t buy any of them and unlock them all like other games like this does. They charge individually which is absurd! If you decide to play this be ready to get frustrated and definitely DONT spend any REAL money on it!

I’m done with this game

This is a nice game in a lot of ways, but I’m just fed up and can’t do it anymore.

I’m trying to do an event, and the game absolutely will not give me the cards to automate either of the last 2 mineshafts. Absurd and frustrating. So I can’t make any money to get any zombies, because the previous mineshafts don’t give enough. Yes, I understand that you can pay gems, but if that’s how it’s designed to work, this is nothing but a money grab. Minus 2 stars for this.

Also, the whole fake ad thing just shows how shady this company is. And stealing the entire concept of another game (Gold and Goblins). Thieves. How does it feel that you have no ingenuity and are just a parasite stealing from people more creative than yourselves? Get an original concept, you pathetic losers. You deserve to have everything you’ve worked for stolen from you, and that goes for every employee of this company. You work for thieves- that makes you a thief. Everyone that works there is cursed. Minus 2 stars for being liars and thieves.

Where’s the game I saw in the ad?

Unlike the previous reviewer who found the monotony of what he got versus what was advertised as good as or better? I did not I want what the ad showed me that showed me something interactive and totally mindless that looked like fun kind of the way Fishdom is advertised. The tiny fish eats a few fish gets bigger eats bigger fish, gets bigger, etc. silly but looks like fun. I thought a bulldozer, pushing more and more stuff at a line to add up to enough to upgrade to a bigger bulldozer to push even bigger stuff… Hilarious. But no, that’s not what this is and I’m disappointed.
Update: The developer responded with: we’re sorry you misunderstood our ad.
I. Did. Not. Misunderstand. You showed a completely different game in your ad. Someone would have to do what I do now every single time- check the reviews. All of them. Some people were happy with what they got instead of what they advertised. I’m not the only person who wasn’t.
I repeat. I. Did. Not. Misunderstand.

Total lie like most game apps

Has nothing to do with what was actually advertised should sue for false advertising. Signing a personal information agreement is considered a purchase, signing this before the game truly represents it’s self and then it not being what is advertised does make them eligible for lawsuit that’s textbook false advertising for an application of any kind that is “free to play” with in app purchases.

P.s. for the devs if their human and farther more they respond the developing company is worth about 500mil usd, wondering what a class action civil suit would do for you guys if those of us that are tired of this type of miss information decided to start holding the economic sector responsible for falsely acquiring our personal information in the purpose of marketing

Don’t download this Scam!

This game is a total scam and rip-off. I spent hundreds of dollars and only played this game for a few days and then I realized that my progress kept reverting and my purchases were disappearing. And I would go from 1st place way down to the bottom on the events because of the glitch, after I already spent so much. I requested a refund which they didn’t give even though the purchases say they are permanent which they aren’t and even though I didn’t get what I paid for. I’ve played a lot of games and never had this problem and this is the first time I’ve ever felt ripped off or requested a refund. I deleted this horrible game. What a ripoff! I was going to try and continue playing the game in hopes the glitches would be fixed and the purchased items returned but since they refuse to refund even a single purchase, they aren’t getting anymore of my money or support.

Not engaging

Ok, this game got my attention at first…so I’ve played it for the past week and 1/2 (and yes, spent money to progress further, even though I know I shouldn’t)…. So after 1 1/2 weeks of playing this game, these are my reasons for 1 star:
1. Its impossible to level up if you don’t spend money (a TON of money).
2. It takes FOREVER to advance in the game, and then when you FINALLY make it to the next advancement (mineshaft), you literally have to start at “Square One” again, and loose all of your money, workers, etc…. This is by far the STUPIDEST part of the whole game.
3.They have these events that last between 1-5 days. Joining the event is free, but if you actually want to “try to win” events you will be spending $30-40 dollars each event… yes, that is an insane about if money! It’s just wrong for a game designer to try and take advantaged of people like that.

Game Error after Mine 15

Hello, I tried to open Zombie Miner up today and I’m getting an error saying “Internet Connection Required”. I have been using the game on my phone via WIFI connection since I downloaded the game.(I am on mine 15.) The game opens fine once I turn WIFI off. I just spent the money to upgrade the game last week and now I’m having this issue. I’ve sent a screenshot to show the exact error message. I’ve closed down app, restated phone and all of those tricks. Do you have a solution for me please?

I’ve paid for no ads and not getting my moneys worth because I can’t get IdleZombieMiner to open…
It does it at my house and other places I frequent while using their WIFI and have no issues on any other apps or phone service.

A Disappointment

I expected this game to be like Gold and Goblins, which I’ve been playing for a long time. In many ways it is … BUT ..

Paying for “premium” ($4.99) does NOT remove ads like I expected it to. No, the game doesn’t *force* you to watch ads, and they don’t pop up unexpectedly in the middle of gameplay, but many of the rewards I’m used to getting for free in G&G, such as chests and barrel deliveries, require watching an ad to get the reward. Bummer.

Ad-free requires a subscription at the hefty price of $20 a month, which is ridiculous for a little idle mining game. It’s even more expensive by the week. I don’t like watching ads and I’m not paying $20 a month to get rid of them, so I’ll probably delete it.

Developers, your excessive greed for profit will backfire on you. I think that most players will react similarly to me and simply not play it rather than watch tons of ads or pay an outrageous monthly subscription fee.

That said, the graphics are decent and the mechanics are very much like G&G. Back off on the ads and/or give us a reasonable one-time fee for no ads and you’ll get a lot more players.

WiFi Issues Are Super Frustrating

Love the game itself, but a day or two after playing, it would no longer connect to wifi and kept saying there was no internet connection. So I have to turn my wifi off to play, and I live in a region with terrible cell service. I checked all the settings etc and it still didn’t work. Fast forward to beginning of September - I got a new iPhone, transferred my game data over, and it worked on wifi again for 1-2 days then stopped. SO SO frustrating! My cell service is terrible here so I end up searching to try to get enough signal to log in, and then whenever I have to pop onto wifi to do anything else it interrupts the game and has to completely reload again, which means bouncing around the house for enough signal.

It’s a copy from quantumapp publishing

It’s basically a copy paste from gold and goblins from app quantum publishing. Exact same game build graphics all of it just a copy paste. Nothing new or original just reskinned to be zombies.

UPDATE: they reached out to me. They obviously not going to admit it’s an exactly copy of gold and goblins. They said it’s an independent game with its own features 😂😂. They know what they did. It’s literally copy paste. It’s prolly someone who worked on gold and goblins and took the program made their own company and changed the skin of the goblins to look like zombies. Literally same game engine same model just slightly different design. It was the most lazy way of reskinning a game 😂. Develop your own game. Stop stealing from others.

Fun but super bad bug destroyed game

This game was really fun but I poured in 8 hours into the game which got deleted, so I’m not going to place 1st after all my hard work. The bug happens when signed into Apple Game Center and you use two devices. I had played on my iPad and then loaded the game on my iPhone. Played for 8 hours, secured double 1st place in two events. Went home and opened my iPad (which I had never closed IdleZombieMiner ). IdleZombieMiner loads my old main mine at level 9 from the morning and not the level 12 mine I had on my iPhone. I close IdleZombieMiner and reboot and it’s now saved my progress back at mine 9. My scores are lower and I lost upgraded relics and suddenly hAd extra gems in my inventory. It was a complete mess. Sad cuz this game was fun.

Too Expensive

I actually love this game. Enough to where I am pay for the monthly subscription. But I won’t anymore because not only do I pay for that monthly subscription but then everything else that you can get you have to pay for too, and I’m not down with that charge one price, and if somebody’s willing to pay that price for a month, give them what they pay for. I’m on like mine 82 or something and I do I love this game, but I’m not going to justify spending a monthly subscription and then having to spend money to get the other prizes that you actually earn, but if you don’t pay, you don’t really earn anything you have to buy them.

Tried to update and my whole app has disappeared

I go in to play my game and it says I have to update stupidest thing ever happens all the time in the middle of an event when you have a event going it shouldn’t update in the middle. It should update when there is an event going time of essence during events, I’ve been playing this game for a long time. I was paying goblin gold and moved over to this one has more options. I was bored of that one anyway I’m really irritated because my game seems to be missing now absolutely gone from my ipad as if I deleted it.
When all I did was hit the update button because I wasn’t able to continue playing without updating also what happened to the red Dragon guy he was pretty cool

Will not connect to WiFi

I’ve been playing this game for about a week now and I’m quite enjoying it. It’s a fairly typical idle game and the no ads feature is decent. However, the game will not start while I’m connected to WiFi. I have good WiFi so I know it’s not the speeds of my internet.

Another slight downfall is the fact that you do not keep your gold or zombies when you go from one mine to the next, and you can only focus on one mine at a time unless there’s an event. You put in all of this effort to level up your zombies and have to start over at the next mine.

Overall I’m enjoying this game but dislike having to disconnect my WiFi every time I want to play.

…Aaaand it’s a Gold & Goblins ripoff.

I saw an ad, checked the screenshots, and knew it was a G&G ripoff. I still had a little hope, one download and one loading screen later, my suspicions were confirmed.

Uninstalled.

Only reason I gave it two stars is because it looks like they still put a little effort into it.

It’s still in beta apparently, so maybe they will add more in the future. Until then, I’m holding firm on 2 stars.

EDIT:

Wow! a response! I genuinely didn’t expect that.

First of all, most of the replies looked like botted replies, but by the looks of it—someone did actually read my review and gave a genuine response! And for that; I’m going to respond to your message.

Although I’m sure this is its own independent project, it does look quite similar to Gold and Goblins in terms of UI and formatting. That was my main concern.

I’m looking forward to future updates to this game, and hey—maybe it could be even better than Gold and Goblins! It seems you already used it as a sort of template, and I’m really looking forward to you expanding on it.

Reinstalled, and here’s another star for your trouble.

Advertising is not game play shots

The game is fun, if you like Gold and Goblins you’ll like this one too. A little pricier than G&G, they only offer 1 month ad free service to G&G’S lifetime.

I see the pics they show yet they aren’t in the version I play… hmm false advertising or a version they haven’t released yet? Who knows, it’s the same old whack a rock til it break and move on.. great game if you time to play constantly until higher levels which seem to take forever just like G&G.

Only 3 stars because of the monthly ad free but you get jewels and potions every day, and while they ad up it’s not worth the $15 for it, they also have a $5 plan that just gets rid of ads, (there are a lot, ads to collect everything) open a crate? Play the ad, want this play the ad, I average more time watching ads than playing the game.. so caveat emptor…

Loved this game too much

So I love this game a lot. That being said- I got past mine 100 and I feel like I’m being punished for it. I’ve won a lot of the weekly contests and collected MANY of the chests and still don’t have enough to automate the any of the mines past lvl 100. It also takes like 6+ hours for every rock I have to mine now. Very disappointing. I go on IdleZombieMiner daily and the further I get from level 100, the less I’m enjoying it. I really hope there’s an update for the fans of this game who have invested so much time they’ve reached “The Deep.” I will continue to rate 5 stars, as I have hope for further development of this game, but I miss being able to genuinely enjoy playing it.

Good god read all the reviews before installing!!!This game has issues :((

If you’re on the fence about this game, definitely install if you’re into being bored out of your mind!! Absolutely a waste of time cash and energy!! Played a few days and thought it’d be a cute game, but it’s just not. It’s the same thing over and over and over and over and over…. Then there’s an event and there’s more of doing the EXACT SAME THING OVER AND OVER AND OVER….. omg! 14 year old granddaughter wanted to try it and hates ads so got ad free. She says it’s the worst game she’s ever played, so I tried and wow, it is. :(( Why does it keep looking for my Wi-Fi? Our Wi-Fi is perfection. Who do I contact? This is ridiculous. Can I get my ad-free money back please?

Not like ad

Ugh why do mobile devs make ads that’s not the real game. Everytime I see a mobile ad it looks more fun than the actual game. Just make the game like the ad since you feel that looks more fun than the actual game. If you don’t someone else will an I’ll play that game. I’ll still give 5 stars the gameplay is fine if you like that sort of smash rock idle game. I’ll pass since the ad looked fun. I already played this type of game before in the past.

Great game, but there’s no bulldozer..

I wished we could just show the game for what it is. What’s advertised both here, and Fakebook, shows you scooping up coin with a bulldozer. I actually paid for no ads, and bought a few gem packs, but the game is nothing like it’s advertised! Just show it for what it is. There’s nothing wrong with the game, so why mislead people into downloading it? Cool game, but you ain’t gotta lie to kick it.
