The game itself is a 3-4* amount of fun at least. However the amount of pushing you to spend money is beyond annoying. Can’t catch the fish? It’s because you need better gear. Need better gear? Spend money, or wait a very long time. It also uses an energy system that charges over time, which is one of the most greedy things to do. Want to play more? Spend money. There are also lots of hidden options. For example. You want me to spend 1.99 for an event? But wait, after you spend that 1.99 now let us show you a 9.99 option that was hidden before! Don’t waste your time being frustrated. It’s just a P2W and P2P fish catching sim.

Since you want to tag a generic useless reply about a “gaming experience”, allow me to make it clear. This is not a real game, it’s a glorified slot machine that ceases to function when your cash flow stops. There are countless things that are disrespectful to the players, all of which are very deliberate business decisions in this “gaming experience”.

This lift the rod is so stupid. I’m sitting there, lifting the rod, lifting the rod, lifting the rod and it says oh you didn’t lift the rod. I spent 30 minutes trying to catch this fish and the timer finally ran out because it kept escaping because I couldn’t lift the rod. I spent money to buy your premium rods and I still can’t catch a fish now with this update. This game was not as fun as before the update. This will be the first location that I’m not able to complete the missions because I can’t catch the named fish. Y’all must think you’re so funny. Also, these fishes to come out And attacked the fish I was catching. Now they just swim out and swim away. I was getting one fish attacking another fish attacking another fish bringing on a dark screen to catch a monster fish and now that never happens.

This game is super new, and it’s impressively good even being this new. However, there are glaring flaws. The biggest issue in my opinion is the amount of time it takes to get energy, it should be cut in half from 5 minutes to 2 and a half minutes. Another problem is the gold chest, there is no reason you shouldn't get AT LEAST 1 guaranteed legendary rod, those are pretty hard to come by its defeating when you open it and get half a wheels spin worth of tokens smh. My last issue is that this game needs Clans or someway to play with friends.

Leveling can be a grind to unlock that next fishing spot. Some of the rewards in the wheel and fishing license are laughable. And tournaments are rigged with bots that push real players to spend their energy to stay on top so that they eventually have to buy more.

For example, after competing with a player for two hours for the #1 spot, we both had a demanding lead of 400k+ points on the #3 spot and anybody below. I was in the #1 spot with 13 minutes remaining. At 10 minutes remaining, a “player” who couldn’t be seen without scrolling is suddenly in the #1 spot with 400k+ points above me. This player must have had a lucky streak that netted over 800k points in 3 MINUTES!

Just a game, I know, but it’s evident where the money making strategy is being deployed.

Like any mobile game this one is very fun to start. The problem for me runs with the energy system. The further you go into the game the longer it takes to progress. I’m talking 15x longer to level up. The only way to really progress is to find treasure maps and get a boost on your fish for 10 mins. This is where the game becomes extremely predatory because it can cost up to 100 energy to catch one fish at times. They heavily incentivize people to buy more energy and you shouldn’t have to pay money just to even be able to play. For the record it takes 3 minutes to naturally generate 1 energy and if you even want to be competitive in the tournaments you have to spend 10 per cast energy to get the best fish. Really hope
The developers change this because I don’t mind spending a few bucks here and there to advance but spending money just to keep playing is absurd.

This game just came out yesterday and I’ve already played for a few hours. The upgrade system is pretty appealing. My only complaint really, is the concerning use of AI. It seems every character, profile, and some other factors I have yet to see were made with AI. I understand that models might be tedious and expensive to create, but if you’re going to make a game at least put the effort to make original models. But to be fair, the game is free to play with cheap micro transactions if you wish to pay for the boost.
I hope that this game continues to be updated and cheers to the new game.

This game is super fun and addicting. I haven’t found any bugs and it’s overall pretty good game but when you get really good at the game, it gets a little bit harsh because then legendary fish start appearing and they fight way too hard almost guaranteed to snap your line every single time you get so close and then they just go on a rampage runaway snap your line.

I wish the weights in the fish were a little more realistic, also being able to choose from a variety of lures to pick out what fish you wanna go for would be a really cool update, lastly I think you should make the special fish a little easier to catch. I used a 2 star, legendary rod lvl 35 and I can’t even get the special catfish in the first map, a little to hard to progress I guess. Otherwise amazing game and love that they add the reeling in and bait caster

This is a really great mobile game with barely any issues. It’s not pay-to-win, it’s not insanely difficult or complicated, and I’ve been having a lot of fun with it. The big issue I encounter is freezing. The game freezes every single time I lose a fish and has general connectivity issues overall. It’s just a pain having to close out of FishingMaster every single time this happens. Other than that, I do recommend this game.

Good luck all seems good when first beginning. Game gets so hard catching titled fish or rare. Hope you have real money coming out of pocket for gear. Big rare or titled fish just take all your energy and games has no ads to even at least catch a break to get back. I’m higher level In game and still loose biggest doing everything I can try. This games is just an adrenaline type with you spending real money to get back on course. Fun game but definitely be prepared to spend real money just to loose it.

I love the game. Been playing it for a few hours just want to rage quit because how hard it is to catch the “titled” fish and it’s very rage inducing to get to the last bit of catching the fish just for the line to break. Or to be fighting a fish you thought was a “titled” fish just for it to be a normal fish. It goes really fast at first then gets more complicated and harder.

I personally like to fish irl, so I got interested when I found this game in FishingMaster Store. FishingMaster is easy to learn and I love the amount of rewards that are involved. But there is only one thing that doesn’t make sense in my opinion. When I hook up a treasure map, most of the time I fish the highest energy spots and I don’t even get big fish. Really the only thing that keeps me going in this game is that we can catch amazing and huge fish. I feel like if I were to actually use 50 energy points I should have a solid boost in the percent I catch a monster. Personally, I don’t care about the points, but just the fishing itself. Thanks, still a great game btw.

This game is very good and it would be even better if it didn’t have a certain amount of energy per day, now I will say you can get more energy but it is to hard, to fix this they should just let people cast infinitely

I’m an avid fishing game player and i’ve been playing this game for days straight. Overall it’s a beautiful game with very addictive gameplay. I would ask the developers to nerf the exp, after level 15 it takes forever to level up. Even when you catch sss fish or monster fish, the exp is the exact as as a d class beginner fish. The only way to get extra exp is to find a treasure map and spend 200 energy per cast for 4800 exp, vs 280 for any fish. This normally wouldn’t be to much of an issue but it’s almost impossible to find things to do after you’ve caught the small selection of fish. I feel like adding more to the achievements would benefit players such as fish count rewards, since the achievement page is very useful and full of loot. The energy runs out way too quick and it leave no option but to stop playing or pay for more. If we had more goals aside from tier ranks which is impossible without more fish cards, i think overlooking the limited fish wouldn’t be a problem. I love the game but i think with a few additions and tweaks this would be a top tier fishing game.

This game is an amazing high graphic fishing game. I love the fact other fish can eat the fish you are reeling in. Fish models are beautiful and so are the maps. The mystery fish are cool and bizarre. 100% recommend this game to people. But it loses a star because on the west coast map its easier to reel in a 100+ lb than a purple lionfish.

Overall this game has been really thought out. The tutorial is simple and easy to follow and everything unlocks through time. Its not pay to win like ‘Fishing Clash’ or any other cheap game. This game so far has factual information of fish, fishing rods, and fishing skills that have been placed into this game. I’m already in love with the in game Trading Card feature.

Great game love the details and the fishing areas like the Deep oceans and the rivers. The part that I don’t like is exp you gotta spend over a couple thousand of energy’s just to get to the next level i think it should have way more exp when you catch bigger fish that are s and sss not have the same exp count as a normal starter fish. I also want to say you guys should add net fishing or a option for net fishing think people well enjoy that update. Also I think when you upgrade your fishing rod you should have a better chance of catching a big fish every time you cast me I have to cast like 6 to 9 times just to get a big fish and my poll at level 50 and 5 stars I will love if you guys add those in the game it will make it better but the game so far is so amazing I’m a big fishing person so I love this game I play this game everyday great quality👌🏾💯

After the first few days of this game you’re probably gonna be confused. But don’t just give up on it. Once you’re settled in and understand everything, it’s so fun. I could play this game for hours but sadly I have to do other things such as get in trouble for playing it at 2 in the morning. I got my phone taken😭

I just had a surgery and saw this games release and potentials. Very fun casting technique and bites that feel real! I didn’t have any trouble figuring out how to progress but I did chase some tournaments leaders I shouldn’t have and gotten fish packs instead of energy to make more casts! lol😜cannot wait to unlock the last seven areas! W game!

This is the best fishing game I have found definitely recommend. I’ve gotten into fishing lately and even though it’s not as good as real life, nothing is this game is an absolute must have for me. The second I started playing I was hooked. All in all it is an incredible game and completely recommended by me.

All these people rating this game 1-3 stars are straight delusional. Not only has this game been out for 3 days so far but also has absolutely zero ads. Even if your not into fishing something about this game is just a pleasure to enjoy and if your trying to kill some time.

Ok I think this would be a great idea for the game and next update number one we should sell the old poles we don’t use once we get a better pole. Number two we should have lobster and carb deep sea fishing it sounds like a great way for the game to have a way to experience a different way to fish. And last but not least bait put your own bait on it you would know what bait you would need you could upgrade your bait and it would be a great way to get bigger and better fish. That all I needed to say but please read this I would think these three things would make everyone else that this change everything in the game please do read it trust me and thanks for making this game

This game is so fun!! You will get hooked as soon as you get on this game!! Get it hooked 😉😉🤣🤣!!but in all serious ness I love this game just the fact that I had fifteen different fishing games and deleted them instantly this game has not seen a delete from me yet!! But I love this game so much I could play for a full four hours and not get bored!! I love how you can catch so may fish in so many sizes it’s crazy!! The set up is great for beginners that are trying to learn the sport!! SO GREAT GAME!!! God love you ❤️❤️

From someone who plays fishing mobile games on the phone this is hands down the best experience in a mobile game I have ever played.
I enjoy all of the looting systems very satisfying and quick learning experience as well. This game is not pay to win so come on and enjoy all of the hours of fishing mobile while bored at your house or even using data out of town.
Currently I am addicted 😅but I would love to see everyone jump on board and catch all the boss fish and experience your fish get bit in half during you setting of the hook.

I love this game but only if you can play against friends i’m level 15 now and i can’t really play against my friends and if you guys can please add like tournaments or lobbies where you can play against friends it would be awesome 🎣❤️

Just got the game after waiting on the release. It’s been great fun so far with fast progression! Definitely a welcome change from other fishing games which are often heavily locked behind in-app-purchases. They are still available in-game, however, not nearly as required for progression as some of this games forefathers have been. The graphics are also amazing and keep the player engaged. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for an excellent fishing game!

Decently fun game. Me and a coworker go fishing pretty often, if we arent fishing, were showing eachother fishing videos. I tried to have him download and he understands how to play, but cant read the tips and instructions! Very fun so far. Just hope it doesnt end up being one of those games you have to pay to keep playing because you get stuck at a standstill!

Gonna be honest with yall, I was not expecting much from this game. The ads definitely didn’t do this justice. I’ve spent like 5 minutes playing this and I’m already loving it. The animations are clean and unique. I would highly recommend yall to download this game and give it a shot.

Sometimes I can’t leave the house to go fishing because of my naggy wife so this is a great alternative. I just put on my reliable old airpods for a more immersive experience and grab a cold beer from the fridge and it’s just like I’m there!! I just got into fishing irl and this game is super fun for me! Definitely recommend, the only problem is that it’s not a offline game but I’m definitely still playing it while I’m at home. Great game and I hope u add more updates in the future, I will definitely keep playing this game for a while.

I pre ordered this game the 5th, 5 days before it came out and as of playing it for one day I am very happy with my decisions. This game I super fun and the graphics are amazing. I hope that a larger community will come and play this game. Hope to see more updates and gear 😄😄

This game has been out for like 24 hours and I have 32 hours on it. This game is way more in depth than I thought it was gonna be when I first played it. 10 out of 10 stars would recommend

I love this game! I’ve been playing it non-stop since it came out. The gameplay is addicting and satisfying, there’s plenty to do to keep you entertained. Rewards are plentiful and playing actually feels rewarding. Just my ONE ISSUE… I spent hours getting tournament points for a ultimate box.. only to get nothing but wheel tickets. I only got enough to spin once and all I got was an energy drink..I don’t need more of those! I really think that wheel tickets should only be for premium boxes and below. I was disappointed to say the least and it makes me kind of unmotivated to try and grind for ultimate boxes. Other than that… fantastic game!!! Also, more game modes in the future would be awesome!!!

Been playing for two hours straight now. This game is definitely super immersive and unique, the rare and monster fish for the area are so fun to catch. Will definitely recommend to friends and i will play a lot more.

This game has got to be the best game for fishing in FishingMaster Store, beautiful graphics, different fish and places, and the absolute funnest to play, this is my favorite game on my phone and it just came out, absolutely awesome work from the creators of the game

This game is very fun me and my friend played it for 3 hours and didn’t get bored the only thing that we didn’t like was the energy because we were running out so quick but very good game.

The games fun but it does have some weird bugs, for example when you hook a fish a bunch of other fish on the map start flying all over the map, also some reels are just repaints of others.

I have only played it for a day and I have already bought a $5.00 add-on for a better pole. Graphics are very good for a mobile game, very addictive game, if you don’t get to fish allot, I recommend this game to you.

I just started playing this game yesterday when it came out, I absolutely love it! I definitely recommend you guys try it out. I like everything about this game except for 2 things which aren’t even big problems, 1: is it is really hard to catch those rare fish, everytime I hook one it just snaps the rod. 2: is it kinda lows my battery on my phone, but I can’t really say anything about that because this game has super high graphics which is going to cause lower battery. I’ve been trying to find a fishing game for so long that was actually good, and I saw this on a TikTok ad and instantly pre registered for it. I will support this game for as long as I need to to get this game popular.

This is a very well made game with no advertisements. It has really fun mechanics. My only complaint is that the monster fish are too hard to catch. Even after upgrading my rod a lot, I can’t catch the fish even after 5 tries. It would be better if it would be possible boost the odds of catching them after a certain amount of attempts, especially with titled fish.

Additionally, I quickly ran out of energy after a while and it would be more fun if I did not have to wait so long to fish again. Making the energy regenerate faster would make the game more engaging.

Overall it is an excellent game, but it just needs some fine tuning on some features of the games.
