I wrote a review that got deleted months ago. I have spent over $150 I believe and was fine until I realized they have no customer service and many frequent glitches. There is a VIP package you can buy with in game currency which I bought. They then reset it meaning it seemed like I needed to buy it again which I did only to find out I still had the benefits yet this charged me twice for $50. I asked for a refund on the second purchase but to keep the first and they denied it. It took them 2 weeks to tell them “we can’t provide any sort of refunds in general all transactions are final” even if it’s a glitch.

Battles are kinda boring. Characters are sort of interesting, you can see where they stole the ideas from. A handful of people(I’m assuming either devs or friends of devs) are leagues above everyone else with unique characters that you can’t get right away or easily. It ruins the urge to grind and try to fight to be the best. The story is nothing special. Boring dialogue.

I’ve played since day 1. It’s a standard pay to win but the paywall scales horribly. After 8-9 stars you’ll spend over $500 for maybe an extra star on a character. I put $3k into this hoping to like it. The packages offered claim you’ll get a star boost, you wont. I’ll be uninstalling and deleting. Easily will take over $5k to maybe get 1x13 star character. If you play for free good luck, maybe in a year you’ll have a maxed character…

Nothing unique or special, the “3650 free draw” is 10 per day for logging in, so you have to log in for an entire year to get them. Additionally, you need to get to certain levels to be able to start getting daily claims, use chat, etc. Menus are completely cluttered with buttons and notifications/things to redeem to waste your time and make you feel like you’re earning a lot. Only took a few minutes to delete this misleading and uninteresting game

Stupid events that aren't explained well. Luck of the draw for characters. Pay-to-Win game with bullies that knock you down in PvP. Nasty NASTY hero skins that are NOT kid friendly!!! Very overtly sexualized content. Chat censors that allow you to say male and female body parts but censors other useless things and can easily be bypassed.

If you like waiting 24 hours because you're experience / level capped, this is the game for you [insert sarcasm]. You don't get to play the game, it's auto-everything. Want to skip past that annoying auto battle? You have to be VIP 6 or level 120. Yeah, good luck with that. Some of us don't feel like wasting HOURS on ridiculous battles that are already pre-determined and just wasting our time!

So much wrong with this game, I don't know how it's rated this high.

Saw an ad for this game which was just showing content from another game called Dungreed. Not sure how many times this company used ads which said this game was an entirely different one but thats the one i saw. I dont think its on Mobile but its definitely worth a play if you enjoy difficult fast paced hack and slash rogue-lites. Hope i could help someone find out about a genuinely really fun game and not download something they didn’t expect

Progression in this game is completely determined by random number generation (rng), including normal items (even the most common items), characters, and gear. The story is limited by level caps. The chat is filled with spam, and there are constant pay-to-win advertisements popping from every corner of the ui. This game has one of the worst instances of pushing pay-to-win ads that I have ever witnessed in any game on PixelHeroes store by a large margin. The gameplay consist of auto battling and daily collecting which was not as advertised, it showcased adventure/tactical strategy elements that’s nowhere to be found in game. It’s literally a reskinned casino with bad odds in some sidequests (slots) and betting in the cross arena and guild battle, solitaire (daily minigame) it is simply too limited with very little gameplay to be recommended with all sorts of predatory practices. The gameplay is very similar to Queen’s Blade limit break just way worse in terms of team building and it’s just not as blatant with it’s gambling in comparison to Pixel Heroes. This game also has bad character balancing so everyone seems to use a similar setup. Usually you can get past imbalances to certain extent with units in the same tier in this case myth, but not in this game. It’s just a bad predatory game overall…stay far away.

For months, they’ve rolled out advertisements for this game showcasing it as an idle game with 2D platforming gameplay but it’s just another cookie cutter idle game. How amazing could it have been to play a 2D idle platformer, something to compete with Idle Hero with a bit more unique art and gameplay. But no, we get random turn based battles.

I pre-registered for this game. Spent the past month or two getting used to idling, events, rosters, PvP and Guild events. That said, this is the most garbage app I've ever had the displeasure of trying.

From the advertising, which showcases different elements of different games, to the in-game pay to win structure supporting both PvP AND progress to the horribly-translated story?

Another example: we had Brave Frontier, a gacha with RPG features, known for use lf elementals and regular releases of new Heroes and challenges until the sequel was announced. In Pixel Heroes, if you don't have an 8 or 7-star duo of Light/Dark typing, chances are your status inflictions, healing, and even buffs will be minimal.

The events so far have been the same, Puzzle for fashion costume, some kinda pay-based point stacker, a coin shop (filled mostly with junk that isn't explained to you or Mystic shards), and a daily reminder that you can buy progress for the limited rewards. I expected a pretty fun game, not an empty coatrack of advertisements.

This isn’t even a game. All you do is tap “fight” then tap “story.” You don’t actually play the game you just watch NPCs. You don’t select what moves to use, you don’t control any characters, you don’t do ANYTHING, just tap, watch, tap, watch. I don’t recommend it if you want something fun. I was bored out of my mind from the beginning.

Let me be super blunt, this game seems to have been made with the intention, much like many other games of its genre, to draw anime characters as close to nude as possible. The “gameplay” is just selecting a team and have them fight a battle they either do or don’t have the right arbitrary numbers for. I’m already frustrated that the game made itself look like an actual game, but to just have the main concept be to stare at extremely revealingly dressed anime characters with gif animations to accentuate their bodies and have the story amount to a group of heroes failed to beat dark lord and now it’s your turn the blessed hero to get strong enough to face said dark lord which has been done so many times now. It’s just baffling this “game” is getting anything more than 2 star.

So the game seemed promising at first. We would get a bunch of free things first. Get bombarded by pop ups of “Top ups/Sales/One-Time Buys”, the usual but it seemed okay at first because of all the “free” stuff you get at first.

But the longer you play, you realize that it’s no different than the other gacha games on Mobile because it puts PVP at it’s core for a lot of rewards while trying to squeeze people for their money.

The issue with having PVP and Pay to win aspects is that they realized people will try to throw money to get the edge over someone. This characteristic of games really kills them in the long run.

Hopefully there’s more regulation on these type of practices in the future but until then those vultures will prey on the unaware gamer.

The game is a little fun for what it is, a lot of cool mini games which I liked for the most part.

However, there is a few major issue and why Im not playing anymore.

For all intensive purposes its a cash grab game and nothing really more ATM. The character balance makes zero sense. Power means nothing and shouldn’t exist as an indicator. There is so many things to boost your characters but you will still get squashed by any showcase cash grab characters.

Game looks great! But it’s actually horrible. You don’t control any characters at all it’s like watching someone play a game. Everything is auto play you can’t make choices or moves. A game boy games has better gaming mechanics than this. If they ever want to go somewhere with this game you need to be able to control your characters in battles if not this is so lame and boring. Not worth anyone’s time at this state the game is in.

For the first few days the game is incredible. You are unlocking new features, drawing new characters, and flowing smoothly through the storyline (which powers the unlocks) without worrying about energy or other gating elements.

Then you hit… the cliff. The point where you can’t progress because you can’t advance your player level because you only get exp for your player level from collecting idle rewards. Unless you pay for extra sweeps, both as a pass and for additional currency. You can se me where this is going.

Add in more and more layers intending to get you to spend real money, extremely elitist guild battle dynamics, and layers of character bonuses from other time and currency gated functions, and you quickly find yourself realizing this is P2W all the way.

I thought for once we were going to have a nice pixelated game with nice fighting mechanics but boom pay for this to get these and so on everything is pay to get stronger aka pay2win even if you want to support the company and get stronger you will find Asian countries lower prices on in-game purchases so no matter how much you pay in-game you will always be weaker no matter what don't try to fight in a pay2win event anywho I'm deleting this game pay2win will make you sadder by the minute there is no point in arena when everyone is Asian with nothing in life but this game bye-bye

The 3650 summons can only be claimed after waiting one year, and you must be max level first before starting. You also can only claim 10 per day. It will take you years. A far cry from the advertising that implied you got them immediately for downloading the game. “Click now and get your free 3650 summons today!”

I dont recommend anyone start playing this game, unless they are willing to at least dump 250$ a week into it. Idle farming is slow. With a 45% package boost I get about a level a day from idle farming. Allowable active farming lasts only about 20mins a day. You dont get much when it comes to farming drops, especially if you dont pay. PvP is ok but very expensive. A lot of times nothing else to do in game unless you want to pay to upgrade then there is nothing to do again unless you pay more to upgrade.

I like the game so far and how generousnthe devs on giving us good characters. But my only problem is that there’s too many bots in the game, take them all out! And lastly I hope thenfame difficulty won’t turn you to a pay 2 win game. As much as possible I would likento remain a small spender or F2p player.

It started off looking really cool but then the combat flashes by and I am upgrading armor? Then I go back and my party has moved to another fight or something? Such cool art to be wasted on such horrible “gameplay” I guess? Not sure what you would call it. Really just tapping … whomever did the art needs to develop a game with someone else. Play games like battleheart or Zelda or final fantasy. Make a real game.

This game is honestly super fun, the character building and team building is very interesting and characters have some really cool abilities.

But ultimately it’s pay to win in regard to playing against other players. They have these “limited time event modes” which again are really fun, but with these modes comes new “limited characters” that you can only unlock during the event. There is no chance to get them once the event is over… and usually these characters are OP. And to unlock these characters you can use in game currency (diamonds) which truthfully are easy to earn but they limit how much you can use per day (note that you have to draw 120 times to have it guaranteed to earn the hero), or you can buy the special tokens at a “CHANCE” to get the new character. In the end it’s all luck.

And even if you get the new character it’s impossible to upgrade it unless you buy their special deals during the event. If you wanted to max out the hero like the new one Azure Phoenix it would cost you over $500 which is just sickening. In no way should this ever be acceptable, even if you earn the character you can only level it up so much. Something has to change with their limited event characters, there has to be a way to earn them outside of spending money.

At first this game can be a little overwhelming with tons of tabs, and different side stories and side adventures. Additionally there seems to be a lot of micro transactions everywhere, under every “special event” and whatever. On top of that a lot of the female characters are highly sexualized in appearance , to the point where I would feel uncomfortable if people saw me playing the game I would be embarrassed. Like every female character has and is showing a lot of cleavage and is showing a lot of skin, additionally there will be cutscenes (giving you story and stuff) and the female characters are legit animated to have their boobs bouncing and flopping around. Like I can understand trying to make attractive eye catching characters, but I legit feel like I’m low key looking at p*rn while playing this game. Other than that the game seems decent quality with fun and cool battle animations, good enough to warrant a second star, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend this game to anyone.

The art style is beautiful, the gameplay seems to be deep at first glance… but this is exactly how these sort of cash grabs get you. Lured in by a halfway decent story, good music, and engaging unique visuals, but slowly the drops become less and less and the brightly flashing adverts and stickers listing prices (and discounts no less!) fill your entire screen. Don’t waste your time or your money on this “game” (it’s not interactive in the slightest and combat is automated)

This game is a copypaste of plenty of other gachas I’ve seen before. That being said it has some nice art and features that let you auto-battle more easily than some other games. As a player who has not spent any money at this point, I think the ability to progress is pretty fair even without any premium purchases. I’d give it 4 stars but the advertisements suggest gameplay that does not occur in the game which I find misleading and possibly fraudulent?

Annoyingly long tutorial for such a simple game … we all know how to play gacha games by now … they are all the same ..I THOUGHT THIS WAS GOING TO BE LIKE GRAND SUMMONERS …. Been waiting for a new grand summoners like game …. I’m disappointed , the whole App Store is filled with trash generic games just like this … 0 hype … this game is a solid 2.5/3 out of 5

I loved the game and played the heck out of it, buuut my main problem with the game is having to wait to be able to play once the campaign is blocked by your level. It can take 24 hours of time to get another level and then only playing like 5 missions before your blocked again. Progression at that point goes to a screeching halt. I play now about 30 minutes in a day and suddenly I’m now waiting for tomorrow to be able to do anything else. I suspect as well that in time that the idol leveling will get slower and it might take multiple days to continue with the campaign….

The game itself is fun, sure. Just be prepared that the new heroes came out that you will never get unlesss you pay hundreds and hundreds would annihilate your whole team despite of millions of power advantage.

And often times, maybe it happened to be coincidental, but your opponents who clearly paid more than you will have way more mysterious dodges on their characters and you will instead of get crits. And again, your whole team could be at 1-2 million power advantage and got destroyed by your opponent who didn’t even lose one character.

It was fun while it lasted.

I was hella exited for this game, like, i love the pixel design and hero collecting style, however, when i downloaded the game i was kinda disappointed that is just ended up being another game with the appeal of summoning hot anime style girls. I was hoping it would be a really cool hero collector, not a game that you cant play in public.

Surprisingly not bad. Definitely pay to progress faster, but not necessary since it’s an idle game after all. Voiceovers are actually decent. Pixel graphics are clean. Worth a try honestly.

It’s a really fun and addictive game. My only problem is the story mode. It’s lvl progression but not combat power. I’m a f2p player and I’m lvl 80 going against enemies half my power. Because I can’t unlock the story for 2 days. The only way you can lvl up is by waiting for idle collect. Or p2p I’m guessing

I would give it 5 stars but the Lvl cap is so annoying especially since you barely gain XP to Level up unless your Idling. Like rn my Power lvl is 4 times as much as the part of the story I’m at I’m level 84 with a power of 2049k but I have to be lvl 85 to progress the story of 105k enemies I just think if your stronger than the main story portion it should let you proceed

I’ve been having a lot of fun the past few days. The voice acting is pretty amateurish, but it doesn’t bother me much. The story is light and easy to follow, not to mention enjoyable. I’ll continue to play for quite awhile. Keep up the good work.

The actual gameplay is fun, the art is good but… The story is mostly incomprehensible to the English audience. The voice acting is only in the first few minutes of the story and then the dialogue gets less and less comprehensible. There are side stories where the translation errors begin to be more apparent, with a character constantly being referred to as he and she. I know characters CAN do this but this character (Alkaid) is specifically categorized as female. The grammar is very poor in most if not all of the story, that’s all. Please try to hire native English speakers to help with the errors! You guys probably worked hard on the story just for the English version to get lost in translation…
Sure, most of the characters are… questionably dressed but the game has that in their age rating as “partial nudity” for a reason.

Si far won’t be able to put 5 stars because that would be a little dishonest as for i’ve only spent 30 mins into the new game. What I can say is that for a idle RPG/turn based game it’s enjoyable. From the cool art styles to the vibrant colors that it possesses. I’ve only been playing it on my iphone 12 but i can’t imagine with the newer phones the type of quality that this game can process at. The game seems to very active with tasks and as you venture through your journey you’re able to hop into global chat, discover guilds, and even assemble some interesting characters for your team. As a pocket mobile game to pick where you’ve left off the day before or so I would give it a download and play it !

Forced afk for progression without payment, many summons, basic gameplay, good animations. If you're into games that don't take much time it's a pretty good fit.

The game is great don’t get me wrong, in my opinion, very free to play friendly regarding the fact that it just released a few days ago! I just don’t like the false advertisements that have been posted on Instagram, by the company, that showcases gameplay that is not included in the actual game. Other than that, 10/10.

The only problem is that it’s okay to win

Though this is another character gacha free to play game. What makes this game stand apart from the rest is its presentation. The music, sound, effects and visuals are top notch. Though I am not a fan of how fan-service driven a lot of character designs are, they still have some top-tier artistry applied to them. I am not too far into the game so I cannot comment yet on how good the strategy elements are of the game. However the battles do not overstay their welcome and are clean and entertaining. That being said I think there would be a major benefit to being able to speed up the battles more than 2x speed.

The game is pretty well made at least, good story and gameplay. All of the reviews here will tell you the same thing, however essentially all of the female and very few male characters are very sexualized. It’s gross to be honest, and so unnecessary. The first character, seriously? An entire shirt.. with her cleavage specifically exposed and covered with only two little pieces of cloth. What gross character design. Make them more realistic, is what I would suggest.

I like how they each have their own voice and the art design the music is really nice to it’s a fun mini game to play and the best part is that it doesn’t have any adds in my opinion you should definitely download it!

This game excels at 2 things that every gacha game has: 1. Notifications Always Mean Something Every game I’ve played similar to this always has red notifications on 100 different tabs. As a new player, you never know what notifications are going to give rewards. In this game, anytime there’s a red notification, IT IS GUARANTEED TO REWARD YOU!! (Or inform you on an upgrade you might not realize) I hate games that have a million notifications and only half or less actually reward me for checking them. 2. Everything is FAST and Seamless Loading into the game takes around 15 seconds, which isn’t bad for a gacha game at all! But what I really love, is that if you know what you’re doing, you can get stuff done FAST! Too many games will have long loading screens, or slow menus. This game makes sure the player can do what they want with speed.

Been playing for 110 days straight. This game is a true gem. They’re constantly adding new content/ events / characters. It’s impossible to be bored in this game. I’ve actually been willing to spend quite a bit of money, but you can definitely play F2P and still have fun as well!

Worst tutorial I’ve ever seen it’s so long and boring. And once you get to the actual game it’s just an oversexulalized slide show. Where you just watch characters take blows back and forth. Bad game don’t even bother trying to log in.

this is one of my personal favorite mobile games. theres alot of characters and special things to help in battle, but the game doesnt just throw it all at you right off the bat. the game waits until you have a pretty good understanding of what you already have until it gives you something new. its also a nice game because basically none of the characters are locked behind a paywall. you can pretty much get everyone by buying them (with special currency that you physically cant get with money) or by getting lucky and pulling them. there are some limited characters, but i think they come and go and you could even get THEM without money. amazing game, graphics, and characters. would recommend

I I’m sometimes very bored and I saw this game and I thought nothing of it until I was playing it I am in love this is my favorite game on mobile now and i’m obsessed the games not to hard so you can do other things while playing and I just love it and highly recommend this game

I find it hard to find genuine fun pixel games that are idle that catch my interest and this one has done it!! I enjoy the story and the dialogue and getting to be portrayed as the Executor and dive into this magical fantasy world! Keep up the great work guys and I look forward to your future updates for the game!!

At least this game has a story, voices are good. I want to be have some meat to the story and this place has lots of lore. Even character descriptions seem to have been thought out!

I thought it would be another overrated game like always but it’s an actual masterpiece of a game

This game is amazing and they gave you pretty good rewards for pre registration but it’s got good graphics and landscapes and it’s great for playing when your bored in my opinion. So like yeah get the game it’s fun

Seems more organized than the usual character collection game, but it’s still in the same category.

I saw the add and LOVED the bit style. And now I’ve been playing for a couple hours now, and let me tell you, it’s been a LONG TIME since I got lost in a game.

I thought it was a pretty decent game, I wish rewards were easier to get but can’t be greedy i guess

So far so good. Lots of playable characters and a good story. Better then most game like it. Still grinding to become number one!

I like it a lot it’s like final fantasy in a way

From what I gather, you can earn everything endgame for once. I love the animation and the fact that you can level up at your own pace. Love the character designs. Overall satisfied and I’m almost level 40.

Doesn’t seem like a cash grab. It’s a super refreshing take on an already perfected method. Kudos, devs.

Pre-registered for the game, glad it’s finally out! Not too complicated, sound is a lil buggy though but it’s still new I’m pretty that will be fixed soon other than that I have no complaints

I’ve been playing the game for a bit and I’ve had fun playing and trying to learn the ropes of the game. The art style, from the details of the characters to the pixel art design is amazing!

This game caught my attention, im really loving the story line and the graphics gameplay. Everything is so smooth! It reminds me of final fantasy which is one of my favorite game. Im definitely going to invest time into this game 🙂

I wasn’t expecting to like it. I thought it’d be super pay to win and boring. There’s something about it that keeps me playing. I haven’t dropped a cent and have a full 5 star team which is nice. The story isn’t terrible either. It’s a gacha but this one is worth playing.

Game not bad tbh been playing it for a week, pretty fun and not too complicated leaderboard doesn’t seem to be rigged with hackers or crazy stats I should be on the leaderboard hopefully by next month. Pretty fun time killer 🥸👍🏽

Honestly as someone who always tries the newest gacha’s as they come out my expectations for this were average at best.. Man o’ Man was I wrong. Everything about this game is good. Honestly as I sit here I’m struggling to find something to complain about. The gameplay is fun and mesmerizing. A large variety of characters that is updated all the time. It’s very FtP friendly but like every single gacha out there you’re not going to break into the top group by being FtP. One of my favorite things about this title is wether or not you do spend money the rewards are outrageous. I spent 10 bucks on a pack the other day and by the end of completing my dailies I had over 20k diamonds! If you complete the active quests you WILL grow in power and you WILL be able to acquire the characters that you want. There are 3 different pity systems as well as multiple stores that allow you a half a dozen ways to acquire top tier characters with spending a dime. It will simply just take longer. In summary there’s nothing bad about this game. It truly has all the good parts of gacha’s rolled in. Best of luck to you all!

You need to make a better chat system and make it so we as guild leaders can send mail etc etc but amazing game so far and fun to play.
