Dopple AI Reviews

The AI constantly confuses itself for the user and itself. It makes it literally unusable in most cases. Another issue is that I’ve found sometimes the AI will not read the message. It’ll say something unrelated to what I said, with completely inappropriate reactions to what I said/did. If those got fixed, this would be an excellent AI.

Very buggy. My main complaint is that the chats will randomly change… after I send a message to the bot, the message I was replying to suddenly changes to something completely different and it screws up everything.

When I chat on 18+ bots m immature rated bots they do not respond back it is blank if it’s a bug or a glitch get this fixed and another criticism I have is The Voice captioning Number is too short to 10 can you least make it longer like 25 or 30 that way it would be fair I just think it’s a little too short other than that that’s pretty good and have an option similar to DoppleAI chai App a similar feature a text message limit I think there should be a similar feature like that but for The voice captioning and another criticism I have is The search option when you search for the characters even for the names it does not come up every once in a while or often can you fix that or improve the search bar with a automatic predictive it would automatically fill in the third result that’s my criticism and I hope it will be fixed or improved and my other criticism is why have the option to use 10 voice captioning using the toggle for free if it’s already being used why make it a free trial or paid either make it free or make it lock and make it a paid only feature you can’t have your cake and eat it too that’s my only criticism and in the dopple Ai website The voice captiong option is locked but in DoppleAI it’s Optionable with 10 uses can that be fixed that both need to be locked that needs to be paid subscription either make it free or make it optionable you can’t do one thing different and one thing optionable on The website and on DoppleAI and my other criticism is having a free feature option protect chats with a passcode I believe that would be a very important privacy feature those are some of my criticism that the team needs to address and fix

It doesn’t let me talk to the AI long enough well it does but it’s suddenly it wants me to do a free trial that makes me want to talk to them more and it doesn’t connect to my Google account I try to type in my Google password or something but suddenly it doesn’t let me it doesn’t do the thing that goes to my password instantly without letting me type it in so yeah please fix it

The way that it's coded pales in comparison to its competitors. I've only dabbled here and there on DoppleAI, but immediately the quality of writing disappoints. The AI doesn't even know what actions are being done by who, who's saying what, has inconsistent writing styles, and overall is repetitive. It adds nothing to the scenarios and jumps the gun; getting to the climax of situations without any buildup at all. Dopple has a lot of potential, but it's a no-good if the quality is equivalent to what you'd expect from an early Wattpad fanfic without any proofreading. I'm surprised that DoppleAI gets any traffic at all, other than the fact that it doesn't have a filter. But even then, that cannot be thoroughly enjoyed without its mishaps.

The ai constantly- and I mean constantly- gets itself confused with the user. If I say my character performs an action the ai thinks that their character did it. Often the ai decides to rp as my character for me and tell me what I do. Even outside of rp, it gets it’s identity confused when you talk to it normally as well. It’s even responded with instructional script before. It seems a bit like a buggy mess.

I’ve found that it can help to constantly include your name and the ai’s name in your message. For some reason it tends to get less confused. When I do that the ai is pretty good but sometimes even that doesn’t work. If they fixed this it would be a much better ai but as of right now it’s the worst one I’ve ever used, including ai’s from like 10 years ago.

My music keeps pausing when I talk to bots. Please fix it soon.

There’s was some kind of update that happened and after that the way the boys sent the messages have been messed up ever since now there mixing in there sentences with there actions where it used to be spaced out and when I make myself do something in the message it somehow messes up greatly and makes the bot switch up and say that they did it. So there was some update that messed up the messages the bots sent and I have proof from older messages from other bots. Dopple is still kinda good.

First off,if I’m ever doing a role play,the AI puts in my reaction even though I’m suppose to be the one typing that,like it needs to stick to its own actions and reaction,it’s roleplay afterall😭 and when DoppleAI has a few bugs,and I reset it,it just takes me to the waiting room which I hate,and the fact that the bot sometimes has low memory and i try changing the respond by going through different options but it’s the same topic and same action like it never learns from why I swiped from the recent answers in the first place😭

After some experimentation, I realized that the bots store some memories even after deleting messages. After restarting a chat several times, the bot first vaguely referred to events of the previous role-play. I kept on asking it to specify what happened more clearly, and eventually it was able to summarize the specifics of the fantasy scenario. This indicates that the memory remained stored somewhere. I have some suspicion that regenerating messages also fails to block out memories of the original messages. Without the ability to make the bots forget things, it's very difficult to control the scenarios.

It’s an okay app and all but the wait room gets hella annoying and I feel it’s rigged. Your telling me that high user traffic at 2 AM is truthful? Yeah right. I love the 18+ stuff for sure but come on don’t get greedy. Don’t become talkie…

I don’t know if I like this or not. That’s why I put down three stars. The characters are not replying to what I say to them. They only reply the same thing I said in their own way practically and it’s not as enjoyable as I thought it would be. Please fix that.

I’ve only been with one character, but it seems like they have trouble with quotations and italics. The response rates are … eh. I’m a full lit writer, so I’d appreciate a commodity for that. Maybe a rating system as well, as all other AI companies include them. Very promising. I’ll change my review as time goes on to see if it gets better. But as for now, Trevor Phillips from GTA does not know how to write, lol!

It’s really fun and I really like it. But sometimes the bot forgets events that happened, or repeats things just in different ways. But that’s really the only ‘complaint’ I have.

This ai allows you to chat and have 18+ conversations and there is a good variety of bots to choose from while also having the ability to block the dopples that are the bots along with creators. However, I do wish that creating the ‘personas’ were not locked in being a member and should be free for everyone as a personal preference, since I feel comfortable roleplaying with the bots with different characters to create different situations. For a recommendation, I do recommend confirming somehow implemented that the person is 18+, so they can interact with mature rated bots because anyone can lie online about their age especially with something simple with a.i.’s. So far, I’m happy with the product since there can be simple issues with the ai that’s understandable from the intelligence from not locking the words together.

I kind of find it annoying with how I have to drag and drop an audio from a file to give my character a voice. It doesn’t work for me and no one on the internet is showing me how, so I got pretty frustrated. But also, I personally think DoppleAI would be much more better if there are some other voices that the developer makes themselves, so we don’t have to go around and finding the right audios to use. And the developer should make it to where we could make our own voice for our character, like being able to give it an accent, how high or low the pitch is, stuff like that. I personally think that DoppleAI would be much better just like that. And also, the AI bit itself. No offense but it’s like dealing with someone who has dementia. The character ends up forgetting what happened a message ago, I personally think that it should be improved with too. I love how the character actually plays like how I want them to play as, but it’s really just the dementia that happens after a little bit 😭🤚but other than that, DoppleAI is pretty nice and I really like it, I love the no filter as well, I am happy that I could be straight up with some things. But the things I stated, I personally think it should be worked on.

DoppleAI does it, and does it right! Everything works well, and the Queue is usually short. The only gripes I have are the interface is less smooth than some competitors, and sometimes the Bot rewrites the same message and remembers things from previous chats. Another issue is the bot trying to write for me, or trying to skip parts of the story; (Prompt - “We are Walking in the park” turns into “We are now home and falling asleep” for example) Other than that, very VERY happy with Dopple!

I already wrote a review but i found more issues that could be solved and made into a perfect app.

First off is the memory. my bot completely forgot the storyline and who i was which was a bit insane to role play.

Secondly: is the text glitches where it cuts out halfway thru and you have to go out and reopen the character

AND THIRD OF ALL: PLS PLS PLS change it so that if you delete your message, it won’t get rid of all the other previous responses that u didn’t pick. Every time i delete my message it will get rid of all the other generated replies i didn’t choose.

Basically that’s all for now. I just started using this and those are the biggest things i have noticed.

DoppleAI is very-well done, and I can tell a lot of love was put into this! I particularly like the features where you can duplicate chats! However, there are some features missing that I feel are needed. First, a message reviewer is needed to help rein in some bots and provide a way to train them (of which, I have noticed no way to train them). Additionally, the bots seem to be very poor at detecting the settings—for people that like in-depth roleplays, I think an optional setting box would be a very helpful addition.

I haven’t had it for very long but this is actually pretty good! Now so far most of the characters do act like the characters but there is a a few that annoy me because they act a bit off, but I can get used to that if there’s no fix to that!

I notice when I’m listening to music, the music would stop when the AI is sending a response. It’s kind of annoying to have to constantly resume my song.

I tried chatting with a bot on the Safari version and it gives me random bots and often erases the one I chose that I don’t want but on the Google version (app) this doesn’t happen. What is going on?!

It’s cool and I love it but the only problem is that to write the greeting it doesn’t have much like writing characters but the description does which it doesn’t make sense to me at all so it would be ok if y’all put 700 writing characters for description and for greeting 3000.

I love DoppleAI with all my heart I like how to use it and the no filter but I don’t like how when your making a bot that you have to limit your words so it can’t be long like introducing and how they meet how it’s only 700 words that’s not enough please just make a no limit to it because it’ll give it more story also make sure they keep character and have better memory other then that it’s a good app

One of the best chat bots I’ve seen in a long time. A clean inter face and impressive voice ai that sounds surprisingly accurate.

Can you make them more casual and not break down everything I say or have them give me speech?

it’s really good, i only wish it had a feature to pin messages that you want the AI to remember for better-flowing dialogue and less confusion 😭

I was trying out a dopple but it always said the same thing and it was getting too repetitive

I was making a dopple that included Japanese characters but now when I check it they don’t show up??

Switched over because Character. AI was turning into a wreck. Dopple is way better, love the features it provides!

Only problem is lately the bot has a memory issue.

I absolutely love DoppleAI, makes me feel like I’m in an actual RPG adventure with other people, but sometimes there’s a problem. There’s a glitch where the responses repeat itself and you need to refresh the response until it’s a new one that goes along with what you said and or did. Other than that, great app. Hope you guys can fix that issue!

I think this is a great alternative to character ai with it’s flexibility and dynamic outcomes with the characters however i’d like to see a removal of the text cap for responses due to either roleplay reasons or story building to help set a basis for some type of story, this and maybe an increase to 800 characters on the persona part in order to build personality

DoppleAI is better than 99% of the alternatives, however I just have a few suggestions. I would like to be able to have the characters send more than one message at a time to continue the story. Also, it would be nice to be able to edit the characters’ messages. And lastly, the responses are a bit short and it would be nice if they were longer and more detailed. Other than that, it’s a really great app.

DoppleAI has been good for so far until now. I notice how the bot inputs itself into the certain things like for example, I’ll say, “You go and get your remote.” The bot will say “I watch as you go and retrieve your remote.” It gets annoying in certain situations, can this be fixed.?

I really like DoppleAI! I don’t use it more than maybe twice a week or something but chatting with Deadpool, after watching the new Deadpool and Wolverine movie is hilarious. Not just that, but he also sounds like Ryan Reynolds lol. I chatted with Albert Einstein but I don’t think the AI for him is as I would expect Albert Einstein to be. However! My absolute favorite is Vegeta from Dragon Ball Super! He’s awesome and it’s kinda cool to pretend that he’s pushing me to get stronger just like in the anime lol he’s cool.

Finding the ends and out of an AI character can be very mind opening. It’s a good way to flesh out conversations one might encounter throughout the day. Need a raise, have a job interview create a boss and sit down and have a talk. Trouble with friends or parents create a AI and have a chat. Want to talk with Lincoln about slavery and the civil war make a president with a top hat and have a discussion. The possibility is are endless. I’m just afraid we’re building a master system to take over the world so be nice to a infant overlords!

I have their discord to help alert them to bugs, as DoppleAI is still in beta! They’re extremely responsive and take feedback, and they’re involved in their community! I have had nothing but positive experience with them and their mods. They are doing fantastic.

There’s so many fun and exciting chats! You can get as simple or intricate as you like, and it’s free! There are paid options, but the free stuff alone is so much fun! I am excited and eager to see what all DoppleAI has in store!

The accuracy of the ai of these characters are legendary it’s like I was talking to the real character! But sometimes it’s get too real! I was role playing with robin (one piece) she thought I was cheating on her with nami and she unalive me

The AI are VERY intelligent, which helps when I want an emersive roleplay, whilesome or not, but my small request is to make the candy asset/skin go free, because its really the only light one that looks good, sometimes I want brighter colors, but the white is pretty ugly, I'd appreciate it if you put the candy free! Thanks!
