I want to love this game, I DO love it for about 45 seconds and then it is completely and utterly pointless. This is nothing but a gross, shameless money grab. The greed of the developers is unparalleled. It is physically impossible to complete tasks or challenges when you sometimes have to do OVER TWO THOUSAND MERGES for one single pitiful item that reaps no reward. It is so unbelievably frustrating, it should not take 2-3 business days to complete ONE SINGLE ITEM out of 50 for a challenge, there is next to no hope of earning rewards, there is no way to have any meaningful playing time since you are only given up to 100 energy and that gets you literally nowhere. The only way to have any meaningful play would be to spend OVER TWENTY DOLLARS PER DAY. PER. FREAKING. DAY. Also if you do manage to gain any rewards and have energy exceeding 100 then you stop accumulating the one single energy point every 2 minutes! That is outrageous. Shame on this developer for making this game so unplayable. And let’s face it- even if you do spend a profoundly stupid amount of real money to be able to play, they way the have the spawn era structured there is little to no chance of spawning the correct items to compete tasks. You could easily burn through thousands of spawns and have absolutely nothing to show for it.

I think we all came here to this game from an advertisement which is fine however I am strongly disappointed with the gameplay over all with this game in order to get any type of gameplay it takes two minutes for one lightning bolt to show up you essentially have to wait over an hour to have a fully reload game and if not you have to spend money. I am disappointed with all of the pop-ups that appear immediately as you open the game you cannot even get to a decent game play until you exit out of everything which is crazy I spent more time trying to clear that out then actually playing then I don’t mind advertisements if I want something free but the game crashes out about 70% of the time even when you try to go to the help section to report this it’s difficult to report. Then the game that brought me here in the advertisement only goes up to 10 levels and then it goes away it’s not worth it and I know the advertisers will probably reply with a generic response saying we’re sorry that we don’t meet your standards then do better stop all of the pop-ups allow us to click on it when we want to if we don’t wanna participate in the crazy games that you have in play I should be able to do that Don’t reply with an arbitrary message of we will do better in contacts because I’ve already tried

The Developers will NOT allow you to continue to gain/add Energy⚡️ to your existing Energy⚡️number if it’s a significant amount. For example I’m at 233 Energy⚡️ points at 7 am but here it’s 10:30 am with NO change to my points. If the amount is low then the game will add new Energy⚡️every 2 minutes. It doesn’t matter if you pay for the Energy⚡️, you stored extra Energy⚡️in the Inventory section or by NOT paying via leveling up with each task, they will NOT start that countdown to add additional Energy⚡️. Before the update, I’m sure the Developers stole energy. Either way they want you to pay. The game is fun and addictive so you will run through your Energy⚡️very quickly and very easily so I don’t see the issue with still adding additional Energy⚡️ even with the 2 minute countdown per new addition. You have to be very strategic when it comes to getting and keeping your Magenta colored gems💎more so than your Energy⚡️. No matter how tempting it is to utilize your gems to pay for higher level merge objects. Save the gems/rack up to purchase energy mainly via the blue treasure chest. The developers are very stingy with building tools as well, but it is easy to accumulate coins/money to pay for the bills more so than energy and gyms. Eventually, you’ll start catching on to which objects will be utilized in different task to level up to win prizes and things. So you’ll store those in inventory.

I kept getting interactive ads for this while playing other games, and they let you play a bit of the game while the ad is playing. In the ad you slide pretty, tropical cocktails down a table and at the end of the table they merge together making bigger drinks. They’re colorful and the sounds of the glasses clinking together are really appealing. I downloaded the game because I liked playing this drink game. Unfortunately it has almost nothing to do with what the actual game is you download. The game you download has a layout that is another flat board full of icons that you match together (like candy crush or a thousand other ones). The cocktails game you can barely access, it’s basically a mini game within the game, but they barely let you play it. You get to play it longer on the ad than after you actually download the game. It’s like the developers were aware this game concept is more appealing and original than the merging icons on a board game, so they used it to create an ad… when they should have just made it the actual game with levels.
All this to say, it’s kinda fake advertising. If you like the game on the ad, don’t bother downloading it.

Went to play this game before heading to bed. A cartoon popup in game redirected me out of TastyTravels to unknown website which I immediately shutdown the tab. No other apps have force me off their app and takes me online to some unknown site! Ever since the popup came up it will take my money to pay for higher merges but started making my earned items including workmen and building materials disappear into thin air as if I didn’t make them!!! Creepy, weird, bizarre and downright creepy exploitive and extortionist. Even as I filled out their electronic complaint, It literally automatically generated a message at the same time I sent it. I have the screenshots to prove it. Then it stopped chatting all together. I’m going to seek help from Apple and the State Attorney General if this isn’t rectified in a few days. It took real money immediately but isn’t taking away items and redirecting and not restoring the missing items that have been paid with real cash. You have to start over collecting the items to merge up which means spending more money just to be ripped off. Makes me very angry. One should be able to give ZERO STARS for this fraudulent behavior.

Need to fix it. To many glitches and the game keeps freezing and when’s it not doing that TastyTravels just keeps closing and crashing. In a 5 minute period the game crashed and had to reload it more than times. Spent more time having to reload the game. It’s ridiculous. No point in having a game downloaded if your only gonna get to play a few seconds then crash and does it constantly. Doesn’t look like the problem is being fixed or addressed. If it anything it’s getting. Try to contact support game crashes. Try to watch an ad the game crashes. It’s either freezing up or crashing. When events are going on you can’t really do them especially if they are timed and lose rewards also between all the time TastyTravels freezes and crashes and gotta load it back up.

Update the game and still have problems freezing and crashing. Seems like it’s worse now. Load up the game 5 seconds later crashes. Seriously can’t do anything without crashing every little bit. It’s annoying and ridiculous. Can’t contact support because it crashes before you can do anything.

Addicting game but it’s been nothing but hassle having to reload the game over and over and missing out on timed items and timed events due freezing and crashing of the game.

I wrote a review before talking about how this is the best merge game on TastyTravels Store. My list for top three went Tasty Travels, Flambé, Merge Cooking in that order. Since that review which was only a month or a couple months ago they just keep making changes to TastyTravels for no reason. I can’t figure out the purpose because every change has made the game slower, less intuitive, and just more difficult all around. They made ONE good change (they didn’t used to give you daily rewards the way the others do and they started which I really like) and the rest were all visual. They’re changing the graphics which makes everything more bulky and slows down your response time. (I am not slow in merge games, I use it almost like a fidget spinner when I’m doing other things and can’t concentrate on a game) They’re even starting to add those annoying graphics nobody likes that you can’t skip. They’re even starting simple act of merging an item takes more time now. Why? Watching the item drop from the generator takes more time now. Why? It doesn’t improve anything. Is it visually n appealing? Sure! But if it slows down your game and frustrated people then what is the point? They made another big update today full of nothing but inconveniences. So annoying. It’s now definitely in third place in my top three and it’s about to get kicked out of my top three and deleted if it continues.

I am happy that the customer support seems to have taken action on my complaints and my suggestion to look into issues with playing this game on the ipad! There have been some significant improvement. Less forced exiting of the game and the ads are no longer broken so I can get rewards and energy from them. The game is now playable! Only took one day which is great because I was going to just delete the game seeing as it wasn’t working for me. I am glad I didn’t have to, as aside from the glitches and what not, its quite a fun game. I added the two stars for the promptness and significance of improvement. Hoping they keep coming so I can add more. Thanks team!

Original 1 star review: Im having the same problem some others are with the game exiting especially when trying to watch ads to get energy ect., it just exits or leaves me stuck in the ad without getting the reward. Abysmal functioning, was fun until the constant glitching. And supports suggestions were useless. Two thumbs way down. Such a shame cause the game itself was pretty good.

IMPORTANT NOTE! I noticed that someone else who noted the same problems I was having also has the 9th gen ipad. Maybe this game works better on the phone, but I dont like playing on my phone. I have too many apps on my iphone that are necessary for important tasks. No games allowed there.

I got the one with the drinks merge. I have yet to find that game anywhere in this one. Still I faithfully played. The first few days were fun. Then started the purchase ads. Bombarded with purchase ads. When you get to higher levers the only way to get out of purgatory is to buy. I refuse. It takes over 300 energies to complete one single task. Thats just like banging your head against the wall with boredom. Takes soooo long and so much resource that it’s just bizarre and unrealistic and an horrible experience of treading through the swamp and just slogging along with in quicksand. Of course you can purchase, but then you have to keep purchasing. Not my thing. If it wasn’t the swamp and head banging boredom at the higher levels, it might be a good game.
They do try to keep it fresh. But it’s a china game owner so all they want is to beat you down for money. If you don’t pay it might take 2 days to finish ONE task.

This is a fun game but I feel like they rip you off. First, 100 energies should not cost you 50 diamonds maybe 20 diamonds. But even then, when you’re using 100 energies on a particular item to make other items, whatever goal item your trying to make by merging items becomes almost impossible because the game runner makes it to where you only get maybe 10 of the items you need while generating 90 of the same items you don’t need. Now how is that fair. So by the time you reach your goal you’ve used 500 energies and 200 diamonds on one goal while still needing meet several other goals. It’s annoying. It should be a bit more balanced or equal in the items that are spun instead of the game runners rigging the game so that the items you don’t need are produced 90% more than the items you need. If you’re not careful, you could end up spending more money than any person should spend on a game and that is their objective. Be fair to your players. Cooking Frenzy is a good example of a fun game that does not shake their players down for cash.

The game is very entertaining. I’ve been playing it almost every day because it helps me relax with my anxiety. My only problems with the game is how little energy you get daily compared to what the challenges require. It’s nearly impossible to complete all challenges with 100 energy even if you earn more (like 10-20 per challenge) and almost always requires you to spend gems or real money to get more. It’s fun while it lasts (like 10 mins). Another inconvenience is how the item boxes always give you items for the order that gives the least amount of coins or sometimes specifically completes orders that only give construction workers and honestly that’s uncool because it does not help with the challenges. Also, what happened to the merge part of the game? It was entirely removed. Bring the merge back, fix the item boxes, and update the energy system! (Higher FREE DAILY limit like 200/ or ability to upgrade maximum free daily energy storage with gems or something to that affect/ energy easier to acquire from challenges/ more energy in chests/ many many many opportunities for improvement!!!)

I’ve been playing this game for months. I love it but as I’ve gotten to higher levels, it’s getting impossible to accomplish much because each item requires SO many merges to complete and you only are given 100 energy a day. You have the opportunity to get more, yes, but not always. It’s frustrating to only be able to play a few minutes before running out of energy. And no, I am not spending real money to buy energy on this game. IMO, I would be more apt to stick with the game longer if 1) daily energy allotment was higher in higher levels and 2) the spawners spit out less “base”level stuff as you get into higher levels. It gets boring when you have to work for hours/days to complete one or two orders. It is a fun game, but the higher levels need some work to keep my interest.

I was trying out some other merge games before I came across this one, and I feel like I eventually gravitated to playing this one. Let me be very forreal I am not playing this because I care about the storyline. Which is why I really liked that feature that allows you to skip all the pointless dialogue and just merge. I like that it offers numerous mini-games, although some of them can get repetitive in concept same mini-game different environment and slightly different mechanics. Spending money in this game is completely out of the question for me. So it’s nice you can get offered gems and then you had the ability to watch ads for energy. There’s more I can add but I find this game to be pretty decent. I’ve been playing it for a few months and it’s the only merge game I’m still okay with playing everyday to get my daily items. Maybe add some new merge style minigames, like the mini-game with the drinks you can find when you open the map. That was a pretty cool game. So yeah it’s decent.

That is how good of an impression this game has had! It’s that good to me that I had to set time aside to let others know!! ! I’ve invested real money in this game because the free fun filled experience I have had! I love the gaming music firstly, nice groove to keep menin a flow state haha! The little competitions and new game themes every couple days are cool! My favorite one is the balloon rise challeneges! I will say the card one with the red gown lady her sound affects are a little on the weird side but still a fun game nonetheless! I love that you offer different types of package deals for energy and diamonds with multiple of them in stock so im not left high and dry in the middle of a competition🤣! I do wish though that there were ways to buy or earn coins outside of the orders, like how if you run out of energy you can watch an ad and get 25?! Also, it would be cool that if after the base 100 energy mark is met,it will still keep charging up but instead of 1 energy every 2 minutes it can be a little longer or maybe 2 energy every 2 minutes? Idk soemthing like that! All in all I have had this game since august or september but I didnt really pay much attention to it until December and its like the song you skip on your playlist but when you actually play it its absolutely amazing and you wonder why you didn’t entertain it sooner! This game was much more addictive than I originally thought it would be, and I have already spent more time and money on this game than I should, but I really have enjoyed it.

If you like Travel Town and similar games, it does give off similar vibes, but I think it is a little higher quality/even better than that (and I am speaking from the perspective of someone who has positive things to say in regards to Travel Town—meaning if you enjoyed Travel Town, you should enjoy this…and you should enjoy this even more so.

The only complaint is you need an immense amount of energy to complete multiple tasks in a day on any high level, so that could be worked on, because you shouldn’t have to spend a notable amount of money consistently just to progress in the game, complete more than one or two tasks when you get beyond level 20, 30, etc., so I would like to see that worked on in order to permanently keep playing the game.

Most merge games I’ve played have gotten boring or repetitive after a few weeks. I can say that this came has kept my attention for well over a month. With the different drinks, foods and accessories to combine gives this game more variety than most. While offering different mini games and the ability to expand your map, it’s almost impossible to get tired of this game. It’s a nice way to pass the time when you have nothing else to do, or just wanna complete some orders. I’ve found myself playing this game more than any other game I have downloaded. My only complaint is how much energy they give you, 100 is given but you can earn more in various ways. I wish they gave you at least 200 because sometimes 100 doesn’t last as long as needed! That’s not really a complaint though, it goes to show just how enjoyable the game really is. If you’re having doubts I say try it out, you can always delete it later but trust me it’s a game worth keeping!

I absolutely love this game, it’s kinda addictive, but super fun. I wake up & play it, play all thru out the day in my free time & before bed. It’s my #1 favorite merge game, actually my favorite game period. I’ve tried sooo many other merge games, most get deleted or played while I’m waiting on my energy to refill in tasty travels..Ngl. I love the game, I’d recommend to anyone, but it can get a little pricey if you choose to buy extra energy/gems. I kinda wish there were more ways to earn gems & energy would refill faster. There’s been times I’ve spent $50+ & not even received all the stuff or I’ve been charged double which can be frustrating. The pricing of buying upgrades for buildings gets to huge amounts the farther you get into the game & when you do finally get upgraded to another level the reward is very low after spending hundred of thousands for the upgrades. I hate that boxes of energy cost 48 gems & then you barely get enough energy for 100 or even 40 gems for 100…I love the cards/albums, it gives you tons of chances to get gems/energy/buildingStuff. If you can compete all albums then you get a huge reward. I always get down to 1/2 cards missing out of all the albums & it kills me lol. I hate missing out on the huge reward over 1/2 missing cards. I’d love it if they made shiny joker cards a lil easier to get & more than once..The game has some cons, but the pros out weigh the cons. It keeps me busy. I absolutely love the game. It’s very calming & relaxing for me, but I also can get competitive & try my best to beat all challenges. Again, I’d give this game 5 stars, it’s my #1 go to. It’s the game that I’ll never delete or get tired of lol. I’m addicted. I definitely love progressing & seeing all the new things that come with it. Id recommend it to anyone. Even people that don’t care for merging games might be surprised & love it to. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really enjoy playing Tasty Travels. I haven’t spent a dime, and I can end up playing for hours because of the multitude of bonus games to earn extra energy and gems to trade in. The board itself doesn’t get cluttered with spawners because after every few levels they’re deactivated. Also unlike a lot of merge games, the spawners don’t go dead after just a couple of uses and when it does go down it’s only a few seconds or minutes rather than hours. There are NO annoying ads disrupting game play period! The graphics are great and I appreciate the represented diversity. With all that being said, my only critique is the lack of an interactive element. When you earn coins you’re simply building up various structures and it’s on to the next rather there being a business to custom decorate, an island mystery to solve, or a freezing family to save. This missing piece makes it difficult to maintain interest if you’re not purely about just wanting to level up and want something to entertain you on the ride. I’ve been looking out for other merge games by this company because they almost have the perfect formula for my ideal merge game.

I’m giving a five star review for visibility.

The advertisement I got for TastyTravels showed a game where you aim and slide different sized tropical drinks across a counter to try to merge them together into bigger drinks, which I really liked, so I downloaded TastyTravels . However, that’s not what the gameplay of TastyTravels is like at all. I’ve been playing for a few days now, and from what I’ve seen, it’s just a regular merging game where you drag items together on a board, so if you’re looking for the drink sliding game from the ad, don’t bother downloading TastyTravels . I was really disappointed because I enjoyed the game in the playable ad, but oh well. Overall, it’s an okay app so far. Obviously, it’s set up in a way that tries to get you to spend as much money as possible, but that’s kind of a given lol.
