Too easy previous games were more challengingly

I loved Monument Valley 1 and played it through several times. I was so excited to play MV2, but I found myself wondering when we’d get past the introductory, explanatory puzzles and into the real challenges. Sadly, this one is more like a pretty click-through than a real puzzle. Sure, there were a few places where I clicked things in the wrong order once or twice, but it was nothing like the original, which really offered a lovely challenge. They got the beautiful ambiance right again, and it was bug free for me; five stars for all that, but MV1 was truly a five star app in its entirety, and it’s just too disappointing to have the sequel be easier than the original—particularly for a puzzle app. I did like the new spinning cube trees and the environmental epilogue. I would probably give this five stars if MV1 hadn’t set the bar so high that this felt like a disappointment. This is still worth a play, particularly if you don’t want too much challenge, but I’ll probably actually play MV1 yet again, while I’ll probably never come back to this. Still looking forward to MV3 though. Hope they bring the real puzzles back! Thanks to the team for making fantastic apps; I hope this feedback is received knowing that I love your work.
