it becomes obvious after a short while that to go far at this game you have to spend a ton of money. The updates are inconsistent and only add more and more powerful characters that you’ll have to pay to get and level up.
They apparently lost the rights to Naruto characters months ago. So be careful about spending money on this game. Totally not worth investing in.

This game is not original at all. I played this game like 3 months ago under different name. Why the re-release ? Or why changing the name

When I first download this game, the game play and content looks cool but next day after I reopen the game, the graphic user interface become completely different.
No sure if different region has different vision but I tried to change back through changing the language but can never the my original version back.
This is very frustrating

Not sure what happened within the past 12 hours but there was an update to the game, I update, go to sleep, wake up and boom, completely different game. Lost all the purchases I had, lost all my mythic ninjas, reduced down to level 1, even though I have the same account and everything. Doesn’t make sense. Like they reset the game and just released a brand new (crappier) version and didn’t reimburse you for the purchases or anything.
Hopefully this is just some bug or something but I can’t find patch notes to see what all was changed, but regardless, they just release a $99 bundle for a ninja just to do this a few days later, kinda seems like a scam or something going on.

Was a Naruto game played for 2 weeks then it updated into another completely different game. Whatever you don’t do spend your money on this game it’s just a fishing hole for phone gamers. Once your invested the just change the whole thing you lose all your data. Apple should really try to police games like this in there store they are just abusing it

Hello i don’t usually write reviews on apps but this is a WARNING for people who is planning to play the game, the developer and owner of this game is scamming people, they offer offline top up using Facebook, and they will show you appealing offers which costs from $300-$600 they after you chose your package offer they will ask you to send the money through Paypal and will ask you to use the Family and Friends option so once they received the money you wont be able to make a dispute to get back your money, i am one of their victims and i got proof and screen shots on how they had me, they wasted my time and money telling me there was an error on their system and they are trying to fix it, after a lot of stalling they will eventually not reply back anymore, its just a shame that they steal from other people and use that money to feed their families or for their personal game, KARMA will handle them at the end.

It’s a fun game but you can’t gain eco unless you do story mode and use real money. It’s stupid because you need to level up your character to complete the story modes. And if your character isn’t high enough then you can’t do your story mode unless you use money?! It’s a real let down how the there taking advantage of the Naruto community after all the love and support we giving you throughout the years.

I wrote a review a bit back praising this game. However, the more I got into it the more pay to win became visible. Yes, you can play and not pay for anything and still get by, but they add characters who aren’t even in the Naruto show or at least yet and charge $100 for the character. They should instead add more Naruto characters to their roster that we don’t have like Madara Uchiha but instead they add characters they want you to buy that you don’t know. The more and more I play the more I realize they are invested in making money off of you rather than helping make a well rounded game. It has some real potential but the company needs to change their way of going about things.

For some reason. After about a week. The game randomly changes on you to a COMPLETELY different game. Starts you at level 1. And there’s no way to get out of it, not switching account. Not delete and reinstall. I recall the “beta” of this game about a year ago did that as well. And that turned into a COMPLETELY different 3rd game as to what this one does even.

Why does it do this? This is single-handedly why I don’t invest money in the game.

So far so good but I definitely think they should add the next generation characters as well the missions would be more fun and super attacks and team attacks as well. We should get different power up for subbing characters or like they did in the show. And make it a regular 4 man squad…

I had to join 5 different times just to finish the tutorial if possible make the tutorial higher.

This game is quite decent but it is extremely annoying how the game keeps switching between different games modes. There should be an option in the game to switch between the two. Please add this.

10/10 love this game except why half the time I open HokaAwakening it’s a different loading screen and says enjoy the new world? Then I takes me to an entirely different Naruto game. I want to original game I was playing with all my ninja ad pwr. What’s going on.

So the game did completely overwrite all my progress and put me in a brand new game, but after uninstalling app and reinstalling, it managed to reconnect my account to the right game?? Very very weird, the two games I saw from launching the same app were not even close to the same game, not even sure how something like that happens. Definitely dont spend money if there is a potential for all your prog to get deleted, i must have gotten lucky.

This is a good game but the game is asking for a lot of money especially for the diamonds aka the currency to buy stuff in the game and also I did buy something but I didn’t get the thing I bought in the game

10/10 so far, only thing missing currently are newer characters. I love the reset system, every game should incorporate it. Very f2p friendly imo. Good job dude!

I’m a real person I love it a lot it’s fun it isn’t like the ads still good though i play it all the time and all of the haters out there it is a pretty good game it’s not bad at all

Addictive game easy level ups. Doesn’t see money driven like most games. Has a lot of different modes definitely recommend trying this game.

Nothing new from previous games, although you can have some fun while you play

My massive issue with this game is that it comes by many titles. I downloaded as Naruto: Shippuden Ninja Legend. And I absolutely loved the game. Played it each and every day it was that good. When I switched phones it was deleted from HokaAwakening Store and I couldn’t play it. Finally they reintroduced the game as a different name. Once downloaded all my existing progress was there. Which was an amazing surprise.

You have the option, it’s a game with zero ads and you can level up for free. If you want to be the best you’ll have to pay. But to just level up and play the story mode, that can be done for free.

If I could make a single recommendation in my life… if you love Naruto, and you love strategy games.. download this one. You will not find a better idle game that makes you think.

With it being relatively new, of course there’s going to be some issues here and there. Put that aside, it’s quite enjoyable and able to go at your own pace. Don’t need to spend money to get your VIP unless that’s what you’d prefer to do, then okay. Gives an open world type of feeling to the maps as you go through the main story

Only played for a little bit, but this game is so much fun. No need to spend money as you can progress without spending and the graphics are fantastic. All naruto fans should give it a try.

Love the game not too difficult but not too easy. I want more characters, a little surprised they don’t have the ninja that were considered “gods” in the anime hoping they add more characters later but overall great game!

Just tried it , it wasn’t advertised on what it would look like on instagram but it is still so fun I always look forward to getting new characters and leveling up !

It’s a great game to pass the time by. Lots of things to do and very F2P friendly. Graphics are great as well as the characters which represent the anime. It would be awesome if new characters from the boruto anime can come also. It would be an awesome crossover between shippuden and boruto next generations. Other than that it’s an awesome game

It’s been a few years until I found another game that I can stick to and man is it addicting. No crazy and confusing side quests that tend to take away from the game. Everything has its purpose in this game. Lastly, who doesn’t love Naruto? This game will be hard to beat.

Fun game through and through, battle mechanics are great, ninjas look amazing, returning players will have an advantage with upcoming events and new players will have a user friendly experience

It’s simple and easy to enjoy and with the concept of decent team building too it adds more than just getting the best characters in the game.

Its a solid game where if you spend the money you increase your odds for better characters but honestly isn't needed.
