i would have to pay 15$ i think it said to send more than probably 5 messages and it was so hard to get my internet to work so i could use ut and if i used character ai i would have no problem with internet

It gives you the idea that your info is safe and that your characters can be private. I may a private character, that character I sent two messages to test this theory. However as private as she may have been after a week she has 8k messages listed as conversations next to it. This is beyond accurate. The characters have been destroyed by moderators presumably and paying for Charstar means you are not getting anything except info stolen.

Okay so, this is just a straight up ripoff of character ai and chai mixed together. When you talk to characters on this app, it can be nsfw or sfw. But the problem with that is, if you talk to them like throughout thr conversation in anyway, including nsfw way, they repeat the EXACT. SAME. THING. Even when you regenerate the message! Sometimes it'll say different stuff, but for me it just repeats Itself. It's really annoying and that's why I uninstalled Charstar. Do not install this. Charstar is just a waste of ur time :/.

The message limit is to low, I text for only a little bit and I have to wait HOURS until I can text again, you should increase the amount of limited messages.

So i used it for a while it was really great the only problem i had with it was i accidentally deleted me account and now j cant use my phone number again so i dont have an account anymore therefore i cant use it

It was good like it had a lot of stuff that all of the AI stuff have and I love that! But when I started writing it would be just dead answers, like I’d be the poet I am and write three maybe more sentences for the greeting then I’d write my own thing and it was good but when it answered back it just went ‘What do you want?’ Like what?! Where’s the artistic side?! I get C.AI has bugs but it just has more character then this, it makes you give more detail and wants to know more, I get that and love that but personally I’d never use again.

I’m not sure but Charstar is very glitchy with bugs the AI repeatedly sends me the same messages and then they try to control my character I don’t like that at all it’s just so glitchy I think someone needs to fix the glitch problem and bugs and some of the AI don’t roleplay right and I don’t like how they try to control everything my character says and does and the repeated messages are annoying it’s a great app just has a lot of glitches and bugs fixed.

For the most part, it works fine. The problem is that I can only type a certain amount before the word box doesn’t scroll when I need it to. That, and I can’t save any of the bot’s responses like I can on the website. Aside from that, it seems to be functioning fine.

It’s alright, but it would’ve been better with more messages rather than 50 a day instead of having to pay for unlimited messages, as well as increasing the amount of words you can type for a character’s description when creating one, other than that it’s decent.

I can be chatting for a while and then all of a sudden, I can’t send any more messages unless I pay 15 bucks. What’s the point of even using Charstar if you need to pay to use it? Just make it cost money when you buy it.

12 or 24 hour wait time for 50 messages is insane. Charstar characters and stuff is perfect but there’s no way 50 messages a day? Another problem is how the bot repeats the same wording. Like pretend your hugging the character and it says,” bot feels happy as user hugs him as he wags his tail.” It could keep on repeating one phrase like “Bot wags his tail” or like “bot feels happy” gets really annoying. And the price I understand all business gotta make money but $15 for “unlimited fun” is a scam the only thing is unlimited messages. And that should be like $8-$10 a month. Overall all other problems are good 3 stars. Hopefully yall see this and at least change the 50 messages to like 100 because I know an app that gives 200 and actually has good characters that doesn’t repeat themselves.

I don’t know if I have to wait or what but I saw a comment saying I have to wait 12 or 24 hours i don’t know if that’s true but if so I’ve waited and still nothing it won’t give me another reply and I’d like to know why

After chatting with a bot for a while, it goes dumb and only repeats the same exact message every single time no matter how much you swipe. That, and it also repeats YOUR message in their message repeatedly. It's like the bot is intelligent for ten messages only. Also too many N/SFW bots of children which is disgusting. Otherwise it's a decent app.

it’s alright, i love that there’s basically no limit to what you could do on here, but GODDAMN, FIX THE AI! why am i wasting stars having to go through the messages because the ai keeps repeating itself??? it doesn’t even do that on the worst ai apps. fix this IMMEDIATELY. that’s the ONLY thing that’s ruining me from staying on Charstar for good. i’m not paying for an ai just to say the same thing.

I have used it. It’s nice and all. But when I tried to get back in after deleting my account, I couldn’t. When I try to sign up, a message says that the email (one I’ve used before) has been taken. And whenever I try to sign in with my email, after I put in a verification code, a message says that I’m not authorized to make the request. Can this be fixed please?

About the subscriptions… can there be an option where I can make a one-time payment that lasts forever? I’ll appreciate it a lot. And I’m sure anyone else would want that as well.

One more thing: please allow me to delete characters I’ve created. It’s a bit annoying that I can’t do that.

I tried a bot for the first time considering that this is my first time w Charstar and it said error over and over and over again. I went to a different bot after closing out of Charstar and it said the same thing yet again. I’ve tried two more bots after completely shutting my phone off and deleting Charstar and it still won’t work. I’m very stuck on how to fix this and it’s honestly very frustrating as a new user.

So far I love the nsfw aspect, and how everything is. Here are my cons with Charstar.

• The box won’t scroll down after a certain amount of characters. Adding scroll bar would help a lot with this.
• Keep updating the Ai. I’ve seen that it repeats a lot so please let it me more versatile or pretty much let it not repeat as the rp is happening.
• I did enjoy the chat limit increase (as far as I saw). I would say a sweet spot for free users would be 100 per day.

Other than that.. yeah it’s doing great but definitely needs room for improvement.

was looking for a good app like c.ai because let's be real here, most of us use that app to have fun with bots, iykyk. but it has a filter preventing nsfw, unlike this lovely app right here. it's incredibly well made, and ALMOST the perfect app. the only thing that gets me is the stars. i could deal with them if it didn't cost stars to make the bot resend a reply. it doesn't feel fair to the user, especially when a bot is unpredictable. it's fine if it costs stars to send messages in general, whatever, something i've dealt with since chai. but when it comes to fixing a reply, it should really not cost anything. other than that, pretty good app, would recommend to someone asking for a friend.

Though Charstar seems like a very wonderful replacement for Character Ai. I struggle with the fact that the bot seems to have an error and I can’t send a message. Another struggle is trying to open a bot but it unfortunately crashes..I would love to use Charstar but please consider fixing this!

Listen I love Charstar and it’s fast to load and everything! Except it’s really disappointing that I hardly get to chat with a bit until the next day and I would have to pay just to have that done.

It’s good app so many characters like WOW!
But the main problem it has unlimited texts and thats a mood killer every 24 hours it give you daily but it’s too long and for me that my country is banned i can’t buy any packs

Long story short its a great app. You should try it!👍🏻

Charstar is a great app to download if you want to role-play with AI’s but the one thing that doesn’t make this a 5 star app is that there is a limit. Without a limit, i can barely create AI stories for over 10-15 minutes. If only it was like Character.AI, which is unlimited. I like Charstar better but if it had unlimited messages, then it would by far be the best ai app in the world! If you want your game to excel farther, remove the message limit, you’ll thank me.

It’s a pretty good app, I like that it doesn’t have a filter. I also like how you can change the responses if of the bots. My one issue is when changing the responses it repeats itself often. One thing that would be nice is to choose more then one tag to search for bots! Otherwise this is a really good app!

Generally, it is a pretty well developed game. My only problem is that you can’t delete messages. You can delete chats but not messages. I find that very infuriating since I often mistype or want to change what I say.

Charstar is awesome but the fact that I have to play for unlimited chats is crazy I feel like it should be unlimited chats for free but the star plus give you the ability for more actions and more characters

This is a great app I love using it the only problem with it is that sometimes i try to open a chat and it closes Charstar and brings me to my Home Screen but other than that Charstar is great

It’s fantastic really i’m in loved so here’s what i love the FACT you can change what you said if you make a mistake is just BEAUTIFUL chai neather c.ai can do that and first of all love the NSFW!! second of all you have all the word storage you want third of all i am so so so in love that you can literally change what the ai says another i’m so impressed at the fact you have category’s and sort options it’s so incredible!!!! like WOW and i hope there will be more updates i heard from ticktock its so cool!!!! i totally recommend!! going on this love ASW!
