You need to include the price of all monthly subscriptions in the info section in Letterly store, otherwise people will download it thinking it's free, and then get hit with a subscription page as soon as they open Letterly . Be forthcoming with how much your app costs.
UPDATE:
I see the developer response. Again, there is a “app information” section in which the develops have clearly personally written. It would take all but 10 minutes to add the subscription cost to this section, as many, many apps do. By intentionally hiding the fact that Letterly costs 70 dollars a month, you are tricking people into downloading it to inflate your statistics.
As someone who uses a lot of Voice Memos, this is a great app. I like to hear myself talk about something before I get it out and then I can let Letterly make it much more legible and organized before I send. One feature that I would love to have added, would be the ability to use the artificial intelligence to search through all of my old notes for similar topics or keywords or whatever I decide.
this app is amazing. One of the best apps that I have purchased so far from Appsumo. I am keeping the habit of journaling every day because of how good Letterly is. Highly recommended to everybody. A+++
No words. Perfect summarization of my thoughts
It really saves my time
This is such an amazing idea and app, and really captures the essence in what was missing all this time.
Siri is not doing (not even closely) a good job when I tell her to add a note. Letterly solves it.
Also, would be great if I could somehow add to the note via voice, instead of opening a new one.
Anyways, keep up the great work!
Its a great find for me.
I hate typing and Letterly helps to write a decent messages and notes much faster
This works with my brain. It really feels like a pro has edited my words soooo brilliantly. This is the best ai that I have seen for this. This is great for folks with writing based disabilities.
It has completely transformed how I take notes! The speech-to-text accuracy is impressive, and the structured output makes organizing my thoughts a breeze. Highly recommend!
Rewrites are handy for messaging my team quickly. What truly amazed me is its accuracy with even tricky words, its something standard dictation lacks. Perhaps the only thing missing is a widget to speed up the process
This voice memo app is the bomb! I just walk around and record whatever comes to mind. Then when I need to I read it in a beautiful text format. Recommend trying it
Letterly right here is so powerful and makes dialogue and monologue with ease, it helps you find your lane in writing and takes it to the next level! This is the coolest app I’ve used and will constantly use for as long as I can! This is up there with the most helpful and foundation building for excellence on the market if your a writer if any kind, you will love this mark my words! Thanks!
Just easy and wonderful to use. Simple interface. Great design. The AI revisions are the best I’ve seen without prompting.
Buy a gift for family who want to text more but find it tedious.
The easiest and the most accurate App that I ever used. this app really did an awesome job and wish them all the best on keeping up with feature updates and the excellent work.
Thank you so much this app team and I truly appreciate your App.
I have used a lot of dictation software, and this beats them all! Even complex medical terminology is easily transcribed with the software. The only thing I would like to see added is for me to build my own templates in Letterly . Keep adding more features!
I own or subscribe to all the dictation apps out there: Hello, Whisper Memos, Whisper Notes, and several others that all use Whisper for voice-to-text. I've even written my own with Apple Shortcuts and Whisper API calls that do something similar to what this does. I can say, hands down, this one is my favorite. Great UI.
I needed a tool that could capture my thoughts and clean them up in one pass and provide multiple options for output. this app does all of that with ease and seamless integration from this app into various apps. Myprimary usage to date are seminar summaries, meeting notes, freeform thinking, and dictation into slack, messages, notes, and Asana.
So many of these AI powered apps turn out to be half-baked. this app claims they involved a team of world-classs linguists in the development of Letterly. After testing Letterly and the various specialty tools in it, I found myself-groping about the attic of my mind looking for an explanation as to why Letterly was so ON POINT!
I decided it must be the combo of humans ( linguists) guiding the AI that yielded this result. Great job on this thing.
Review for Letterly , this app
If you’re looking at the reviews for this app, just do yourself a favor and try it out and see for yourself. It’s been an incredible tool for me.
I have been using dictation for years and while it has made me more productive and increased my writing output tremendously, the most time-consuming and frustrating part was cleaning up the accuracy and structure in my dictation.
Having a tool that can structure what you dictated quickly and easily into a digestible written form is super helpful. The way we talk is not the same as the way we write, and dictation can be hard to capture some of the expectations we have from our writing, especially with structure.
The design of this app is exceptional in that it is low friction to start recording and to generate an output. this app manages to restructure your writing without introducing any hallucinations or anything you did not say. The prompt design is very thoughtful in that it really constrains the results to be just what you said with no embellishments. It's a way of leveraging AI to actually make your own ideas shine rather than use other people's ideas.
If you're someone who has to communicate any number of ideas, or you just want to capture ideas for your own life with things like journaling, this app is a great way to make that easier to do it through voice while still preserving your actual perspective in human voice.
One thing I would like to see the developers add that would be a nice benefit would be to put in your own writing samples as a guide for the model to output something similar and match your voice. All of the existing templates and prompts are extremely useful. That's just one that I think would elevate it and shorten the workflow even more.
Great work development team! I'm excited to use Letterly for years to come, and I've already recommended it to several of my colleagues. Thanks!
PS: Everything above this was a result of two minutes of me sharing my thoughts about Letterly into this app, and having it structure them through the “Magic” prompt. It covered what I said faithfully, only making it easier to read—which is exactly what I wanted!
