The only thing for free is heart rate which I can count without any apps.
To check my blood pressure I have to give 5 stars to Essential before even try. Really?
That’s why Essential has 4.7 rating and it’s not
because ppl really like it.

This is A WEEKLY charge! I’ve spent a fortune in the last 2 months because I wasn’t paying close enough attention. The information is not obvious. I’m embarrassed to have been caught in this trap. I opened the once.

Wry misleading. Offers the world but can’t access unless you upgrade.

Does not work at all

The ad that I watched before installing Essential showed the user being able to test their blood sugar, heart rate, etc. yes it can use your finger to scan your heart rate, but as I suspected it does not have the ability to get your blood sugar level. You have to enter that data manually. The ad specifically said you don’t need other tools to read your blood sugar. So sick of fake ads. Canceling my “free” 3 day subscription and deleting Essential .

You advertise all the options as if it comes with it only to find you want us to screw around with a trial for pro the get those options so you can snake people into paying for them. Sad way to drum up business and I will be publicly letting people know if your little scam.

The “preview shows the things Essential can do but once you download it’s apparent that what’s showed cost $ and it’s not cheap. Is it more convenient, yes, but that’s it. It would be nice to be informed of what actually comes with just the download and what’s going to cost you monthly before downloading. Now I will delete Essential.

Other than the neat fact that it measures your heart rate with the camera, the rest of the functions and content are limited and poor. Also, the heart rate thingy might be a hoax.

I had to give it three stars in order to hope that they post my review. It seems you now can alter which reviews you allow and which ones you don’t according to maybe star so if this doesn’t make it then I guess I’ll be sending my information to the FTC in game and commissioner because this is a lie if you ever heard Apple partner with one of these fake Scam companies saying that they have medical grade equipment in a smart phone then it would be more than what you’re paying. it is in no way former fashion. Should you ever forgo a doctorsvisit this is based on your information you give and some made up numbers do not believe this you can put your life in danger my suggestion if you paid anything is to contact Federal Trade Commission and sue. The platform came on because they should know better. these people are liars just

A lot of these wellness apps say they’ll measure your blood pressure too. That’s a lie; they don’t. All the other features are the same as other similar features. I wouldn’t recommend downloading this one - especially if looking for the blood pressure measure.

It also purports to use over your wrist; instead they instruct you to put your finger over Essential , like all the others.

According. The add Essential is suppose to. Measure you sugar label but is not I tray few. Time and is imposible. To get a reading The only can bee records is the hearth rate after. To use Essential and the remaining. Option that have to add manually. If you don’t know. You oxígeno In orden to have this answer is get oxígemeter The blood preside. And the temperature.

I used to have low blood pressure but it jumped up a few years ago. Essential is very helpful to be able to monitor and at least have an idea how I’m doing.

Wow I wanted to try Essential but at $5 a week! That is tooo much money!! Sorry I’m out!

Really liking the layout and use of Essential so far.

This was a very smart idea, I can now take my blood pressure and check my heart rate. I just love the whole idea of this on my phone.

This a quick and easy way to track your heart rate and blood pressure! I like that you can check your oxygen also!

Good way to keep track of your vitals and see if everything is consistent over time or if you need to see a doctor before something serious happens.

I never thought it was possible for my phone camera to take my heart beat but it does. I think it’s amazing and it is such a great way to track your health and how rest and different activities and even the food you eat change how your body responds. It’s kind of fun too.

I've been trying to find an app that can really help keep vitals in one place...once I unlock I'll be happy

So far I like Essential I just started using it because my doctor told me to start watching my blood pressure and heart rate so I chose Essential.

I have several health conditions and it’s very important for me to keep track of my blood pressure , oxygen,etc. Essential is just what I need.

It’s a good app but if you want anything other than your bpm than you have to pay weekly

I am new to Essential but so far it is what I call on point with its measurement, and a good source to check yourself, if you need to.

Not sure how accurate it is, just testing it out but if it works, could be very useful

Awesome I got results quickly and gave me some very important information. I needed to know. We’ll have to see a cardiologist.

Nice to have on the go especially if your on a trip. Or even if you don’t have access to checking your vitals.

Too bad we have to pay. Should be free especially since I have an iPhone. Now if I want another heart App I have to pay for that. I’m on a fixed income I can’t sffarf all this

I love Essential so much. It gives me such peace of mind to be able to check these things and know that my numbers are okay and my body is okay. Fantastic app!!

I’m enjoying Essential so convenient to check what’s going on inside your body at all different times of the day/ night

It tells you important information and you might need to go to the dr and not know it but Essential will tell you.

Essential is a really easy way to keep track of your vitals. The way our population is aging, I can see this being extremely useful as you get older. There is a pro (pay for use) version that I haven’t tried yet, but even at the trial/introductory level you can get vital information.

Seems to work alright. I’ve just downloaded it and it seems to be a good app. It shows the same as my other tools I use to check my vitals signs with. They just have too many commercials.

I get believe how much this does ,I was like how does it do it ,it was really neat when your heart beat is going through your phone and you feel it like it’s in your hand awesome wow it’s great not to have your arm squeeze to death lol .

This device is so accurate it’s like having a doctor in your pocket any time day or night

I saw an ad for it and was curious, and it did not disappoint! I was able to use easily and without any bugs.

It’s a blessing to have a tool at hand that I can use daily to monitor my heart rate, pressure and stress level. It is convenient and easy to use.

Being someone with high blood pressure, I can tell you Essential is literally a life saver. Really everyone can use Essential to be heart healthy, not only ones suffering with high blood pressure! Great app

I absolutely love Essential it’s so convenient and seems to be pretty accurate compared to traditional cuffs especially when you have to monitor your bp regularly

I tried Essential and was pleased with the results. Scan takes about 30 seconds, which is great with no added hardware.

I use to worry about my heart health due to so many of my friends, who are my age, having heart problems. Was relieved when I found an app that can help me keep an eye on my health, and put me at ease when I need to go see my doctor.

It said put your finger over the camera so I put it over and noticed that it measures anything that is brown over the lens or tan so I put it on my table to my surprise my table has a heartbeat 😱 so I love Essential never knew that a non living table could have a heart beat of 92 wow thanks.

Essential does the basics, but has the ability to add on additional features with the pro subscription. I would recommend it for just the basic daily heart monitoring.

Used this and compared it to the results I got from other methods, the difference was negligible. Well worth having on your phone!

This is the best app I have found to do the things I need it to do even I don’t have anything on me when I need to take BP or O2. This is a the prefect app you don’t have carry your stethoscope or blood pressure cuff if you need to have your BP or your O2 checked. peas

I am debating whether or not to pay for the Pro upgrade, but the heart monitor (beats per minute) seems very accurate. That feature alone is good to have as a low-end stress marker. Pro features look very intriguing if they are as accurate and simple to use as the bpm.

Sam as my watch told me and I don’t always remember to get my watch off the charger so this is much easier and I always have it

It works!!

This is a great app to have on hand. I can measure my vital signs with simply my phone or tablet with ease. Helps me keep track of those measurements when I otherwise would be unable to. Great for when I am out and about. I highly recommend Essential. For the young or elderly! I give this five stars.
