I couldn’t help but feel disappointed when I tried the Resident Evil Village mobile game. It’s as if they’ve taken an emulator version and slapped it onto mobile devices, resulting in very low-quality graphics. The immersive and visually stunning world of Resident Evil Village from the original console version has been reduced to a pixelated and lackluster experience on mobile. What baffled me the most was the decision to lock the base game behind in-app purchases. It’s as if the developers are trying to generate more downloads at the cost of the players’ experience. Resident Evil Village deserves better treatment, and this mobile adaptation falls short of capturing the essence and quality of the original.

I find it hard to believe that Apple did not personally help you get this into the App Store, yet this is catastrophically unusable for the dumbest reasons. If you want me to download your massive asset package, then you have to turn off the screen timer. If you think I’m going to tap on the screen every 30 seconds for 45 minutes, then here’s a one-star review for wasting my time. I hit send, and then it also occurred to me that you ALSO want $60 from me 🤣 jfc
