Owll is showing up as #1 for recording phone calls for some reason, but after downloading, it gives you an option for a 3 day free trial and then charges you $7.99 per WEEK, or $50 something for a year. I’m so sick of apps doing this and not mentioning anything about it before you download, all of the reviews for Owll are talking about how “easy to use the interface is!” Yet nothing about it being paywalled outside of a 3 day trial, so I’m guessing the reviews are fake. 0/10 would not download again.
Shows button added to call screen. That’s not true. It’s just like all other pay app recorders. You have to dial abd merge calls.

Owll is money no no stop tricking people
In an ad I watched on tik tok it said completely free but when I went to download it I was offered a 3 day free trial.
Still in trial period. It is hard to commit to a FULL year, when the button used says, "Dail out & Record..." (instead of "Dial Out).
It just makes you wonder what other bugs there might be? I'll change my review, and possibly even subscribe if this is fixed. Just can't see "Dail..." every day.
Unfortunately when another call comes the recording gets disrupted. There are many calls I thought I recorded and found out they were not

This app is great when it works correctly. I use it all the time for meetings and online trainings. However, it has this tendency to drop the connection with the internet and it doesn't matter if I'm connected to Wifi or on my data plan. When this happens, it still records the audio, but, for example, I just attended an 11 minute call that dropped the internet connection about 30 seconds in and it took almost 45 minutes to catch up on the recording and to produce the AI summary.
