For the last two nights I have not been able to watch the live coverage. After I click in the Watch button I get an error message.

This replaced launch console and it doesn’t work. The notifications don’t work and the live feed errors out. Please fix because the last app worked better.

I had the Launch Console app and it was great. The format and display was cool— felt like I was part of the space crew preparing for launch. It notified me when a launch was scrubbed, still on, minutes away, and the compass told me exactly which direction to look. The compass even buzzed and highlighted the “engaged” look when I was facing the right way.

Then I got the dreaded notification that the Launch Console app would be dissolved, and I need to download SpaceCoastLaunches.

It’s terrible. I don’t get any notifications. It’s hard to see when a launch has been scrubbed. The compass feature is constantly malfunctioning— every time I open SpaceCoastLaunches , it tells me to face a different direction. I nearly missed a launch because of this. It doesn’t look nearly as cool. There’s no settings feature to adjust notifications or anything. The only benefit this one has is that it gives you a lineup of upcoming launches. The old app did that, too, but it was in different tabs and kind of hidden.

I’m going to look for a new app. I loved the old app so much because I would always get the news before all my friends. I don’t know why they changed things.

I’m not such which 2-bit Brevard County politician got their teenage nephew to build SpaceCoastLaunches for them, but if they thought this was even remotely an acceptable replacement for the fast, intuitive, and beautiful Launch Console app they should be tarred and feathered before being run out of town. The video player is junk, the notifications announcing that launches are “moments away” show up an hour early, and the UX looks like a web designer from 1996 laid it out. Y’all need to call the people who built the Launch Console app and beg them to come back even if it means giving them your beach house every Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day until we put people on Mars. This is one of the worst apps I’ve use to watch Space Coast Launches. The notifications are between twelve and twenty four hours early. It’s quite annoying when it goes off at four in the morning.

SpaceCoastLaunches either doesn't notify when there are launches but notifies me that a launch is "moments away" when it took off the night before. The old version of SpaceCoastLaunches was so much better. Now I've missed so many launches.

Hello! Anyone in Brevard County reading these reviews? This is a completely useless app. The notifications and launch times are not synced, the video never works, and the graphics are horrible. What was wrong with Launch Console that you had to ruin the whole experience? Bring back the old app or just forget the whole thing!

Bad app. Still getting notifications telling me launch will happen in a few minutes. It actually occurred as scheduled last night. 3rd time this has happened in the last couple of weeks.

Wow, completely amazed at how BC could take something good and completely ruin it. I have used the Launch Console and shared it with friends and family for a long time. I won’t be using the new app, and I am slightly motivated to rebuild a Launch Console myself.

Much worse than SpaceCoastLaunches it replaced! Constantly getting errors and misinformation! Who wrote SpaceCoastLaunches? A 10 year old could do better

Not as good as old app

Was really useful. Since last “bug” fix I must remove SpaceCoastLaunches and reinstall every time I try to look for a launch. Sometimes must be reinstalled several times a day. Like today it would not open three times.

I get a notification that there is a launch and when I go to SpaceCoastLaunches the live feed doesn’t load. I’ve missed ever launch since downloading SpaceCoastLaunches. PURE GARBAGE!!!!!!!!

Notifications aren’t timely but continued coming to my iPhone even when SpaceCoastLaunches itself was completely blank. I would open app and literally nothing would happen but a blank screen. The first few times I used SpaceCoastLaunches I thought it worked fine. I’m looking for another option now.

SpaceCoastLaunches used to be useful but now SpaceCoastLaunches doesn’t open at all yet it still sends push notifications. Odd.

The notifications i receive are not accurate and updated as they should be. When a launch gets delayed it still will send a 5 minutes until launch notification for example. Some tweaks and updates to this service and i see it being a 5-Star!

I love the idea of SpaceCoastLaunches! As someone who enjoys watching the launches i was thrilled to see SpaceCoastLaunches. However SpaceCoastLaunches has not worked at all. App continues to crash as soon as you load in. App haz been deleted and reinstalled with no changes.

This will no longer open on iOS 15 or for whatever reason!? Was great when it worked, I still receive notifications from it.

I loved the previous version of SpaceCoastLaunches and we used it all the time. It required me to update last week and now it won’t open. It immediately crashes and I can’t use SpaceCoastLaunches . The 2 stars is because I really liked SpaceCoastLaunches before the update.

Great when it loads. Most of the time the launches screen won’t load, says retry, but the retry button doesn’t work. Please fix this!

Just missed viewing the launch.
SpaceCoastLaunches sent an alert letting me know there was a launch soon but the live stream wasn’t working and there is no countdown feature.
Pretty bummed, we caught a bit of it before it went behind a cloud. If there was a count down feature like the old Launch Console app had we wouldn’t have missed it. Launch Console was much better.

SpaceCoastLaunches is helpful in the sense that shows a chronological schedule of upcoming Space Coast Launches. However, the notification system needs some serious tweaking. I often get notifications that a lunch is about to occur in “moments” only to login to find out it’s 1 - 2 HOURS away.

Not sure what is causing this, but if it’s because the launch time possibly got pushed back (not sureBecause I only use SpaceCoastLaunches to know when a lunch is eminent so I can go outside to see it… I don’t follow it on a regular basis), SpaceCoastLaunches should adjust and not send imminent launch messages when it’s many hours from the time the notification is delivered.

Launch Console’s compass was better. Space Coast compass is giving me incorrect direction.

We were really enjoying SpaceCoastLaunches to keep track of the launches. It was great! But lately (since the last update?) it will work one time, then crash the next. I have to delete SpaceCoastLaunches and reinstall so it will work one more time. Then repeat. Our iPhone is up to date. Please fix.

I love SpaceCoastLaunches, and being able to stay up to date with launches. And I love the push notifications that give you a heads up about launches.
However, I have a major issue even getting SpaceCoastLaunches to open, it’ll often stay stuck on the main loading screen. If I delete and redownload, it’ll open fine, but I can’t get it to open anytime after that. My mom who has SpaceCoastLaunches as well doesn’t have this issue, so I’m not sure what’s wrong.

I’ll get a push notification telling me there’s a launch “in a few minutes,” but when I open SpaceCoastLaunches , it shows that the next launch window isn’t for several hours.

App does what was intended to do which having the information for users of upcoming launches. The problem is that even a day after a launch has taken place, it will still be underneath the “Next Launch” part, so unless you are actually looking at the time and date and not followings what SpaceCoastLaunches says, you will think there is a launch for that night when in reality it happened the night before. Also, notifications are wrong. It notifies me with a “launch today” or “moments away from launch” when the launch is not until a day or two later.

SpaceCoastLaunches is okay but not as good as the Launch app it is replacing. Seems more like a travel app than a space launch.

SpaceCoastLaunches is really good!

Just in the few minutes since I downloaded SpaceCoastLaunches , I’ve been able to easily find launch times, reason for the launch and previous launch information! Looks like this will be a great app to have!

Thank you for such a wonderful, well-designed app that makes it easy to get concise, up-to-date launch info. It’s no-frills in the very best way … just the accurate info we need, no complications or distractions, and no ads. I’ve quickly come to rely on it for watching live launches from my Central FL patio and love that the option to watch the live video feed is built right in.

The only way this could be better is a text or banner notification option for launch schedule updates OR an option to share to calendars (maybe with a caveat that launches are subject to change), so users can make sure not to miss scheduled launches.

Great app revision. Cleaner interface with better graphics. Also more intuitive imo. Glad I downloaded this bc I love staying on top of the launches for viewing!!!

Got SpaceCoastLaunches based on LaunchConsole going away. At first I wasn’t getting the same launch notifications. But after a few days they started coming thru.

Keeps me up to date with the local launches and is so easy to use

It’s great for staying updated on launch times. Launches get delayed all the time. I don’t have to sit around waiting for a launch that isn’t happening when it was originally scheduled.
